    Unfortunately, when I confirmed our reservation, I got a message back saying they had closed. Disappointed as they should have messaged when they decided, not the day before when I confirmed.

    We came in around 9:00pm when it was relatively less crowded since I have seen this place bustling with high energy folks and have always enjoyed it. My wife and I enjoyed the ambiance and smooth drinks along with a very flavorful dinner. We soaked the mesmerizing hip-hop music with our conversation along with sudden bursts of laughter from other tables that made the perfect setting for a restaurant of this type. We loved every bit of it and would certainly continue to enjoy coming back at Bakersfield. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts! Peace and good wishes!

    Service was great! It had been a few years since I had been back to Bakersfield but the taco options were fine. I think they could get a little more creative! Drinks were great!

    Luis is my go-to bartender when it comes to making ANY type of margarita. Once again he delivered and this time with a Mezcal Margarita. That smoky-flavored Oaxacan spirit made from agave was the perfect concoction suggested made by him!

    Their guac and queso is so fresh! My only note is that they only serve tacos and there’s not many other options besides that. Still was a great experience overall!

    The brisket queso was delicious and the shrimp tacos. The sauce was bland with little flavor. Along with the chicken tacos. The empanadas tasted like spinach artichoke dip in a pastry shell. The rice and bean were disgusting, they were not refried beans just cooked pinto beans that were watery. Definitely expected more flavor from a Mexican restaurant.

    Great dining experience on a date night. Enjoyed the positive vibes. We had to wait only a few minutes to get a table, despite having reservation, since it was packed so totally understand. Mouth-watering cocktails and flavorful and reasonable- size meals. Had to park a couple blocks away at a Harris Teeter parking lot but had no trouble. Does not seem very kid-friendly - depends how u wanna raise your children! LOL… Will certainly return for more fun with friends and family! Keep rocking y’all!! … may see you tonight! 👊🏻😜
