It was birthday dinner for a friend
Food and service were great!
Everyone enjoyed !!
Solid place. Went for Sunday brunch and ordered a pitcher of Bellini, lobster Benedict, Nutella French toast, and croquettes. Nutella French toast hardly had any Nutella, though advertised as being stuffed w Nutella. Still tasty. Lobster Benedict was rich and flavorful, eggs poached beautifully. Croquettes were delicious, though a little small portion-wise. Overall a good, solid brunch spot
Amazing food, ambiance, service, and everything else. I was blown away by the food and I'm already planning on being back very soon. The staff there were all knowledgeable and friendly.
Cozy ambiance but food was lacking. Crab pasta dish was horrible - crab meat was clearly old and tasted like rubber. When I mentioned to the waitress the crab was old, when she returned she didn’t come back to say otherwise. Sent the fish back without eating any of the crab and the rest of it was so so. Definitely places with better prices and higher quality of food.
The manager and the staff were incredibly helpful! The food is amazing.
I had friends with hear problems (too sensitive to the noise) and manager was extremely thoughtful and tried to help us, although it is tough in Manhattan on Thursday night, so it was truly very loud night.
The food was good. We definitely will come back at quieter time
I have been here on 2 separate occasions it was DELICIOUS!!! The croquettes are out of this world, as are the Parmesan fries. For the main course I ate parapadelle with veal Ragu, tastes like heaven.
Sure. I would recommend it, especially if you go early. The service was very good. My dining companion was a bit difficult, but our server was very nice about it (though I could tell he registered it). The food was tasty and fresh. It's expensive for what it is, IMO, which is kind of an average-ish place, but I don't regret going there. The garden would have been nice, and was in fact the reason I selected the restaurant, but my friend thought it was too noisy (the sound of the fan, I think), so maybe I would go back for a drink or some appetizers and sit out there. Thanks.
We were there for Easter Brunch. I had the smoked salmon Benedict, kids had the Nutella French toast, husband had a burger. Everything was delicious and incredibly filling without leaving us with the “food coma” feeling. Best smoked salmon Benedict I’ve ever had. Perfect balance of flavors!
last minute reservation since the no-res place we wanted to go to had a three hour wait. Got in immediately not good on a Saturday but place crowded. Unremarkable and rather weird food, not much taste! The fried artichokes are a salad w a few scattered not as indicated as an appetizer! surprise! house wine very dry almost undrinkable- place smells strongly of musty cheese and you don’t fatigue on the smell it smells the whole time! Would not return w so many better choices in the city!
Dimly lit, moderately energetic and cozy. Solid wine selection that our group of 6 took advantage of. Calamari, Mac & cheese, & king crab pastas were the table’s favorites. Will, but not dying to go back.
Muy recomendado !!
I went for brunch with 3 friends. Everyone was happy with their meal. I had the Eggs Benedict with prosciutto di Parma. It was outstanding. One of the best eggs benedict i have ever had. The salad I expected it to be crispier and more flavorful. It was just kind of meh. The other drawback was the sound level. When the restaurant is full it is very noisy. Bad acoustics unless, I think, you are seated outdoors. But at least no annoying loud music. I would come back at a quieter time or if I was seated outside.
My parents came to town for brunch and this continues to be a go-to place for my girlfriend and I when we have visitors. The atmosphere with the garden as well as the food make for a perfect west village experience!
Love this restaurant. Everything is good. The branzino is beyond!
Amazing way to celebrate my 40th bday! Everything was on point!
The food wants to be good and almost is good. The corn soup was flavorless. Pizzette with sausage was boring.
Great service, Branzino was cooked perfectly and atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant
Food and service : excellent.
But the noise level ruined our moment.
We were looking for a place to have a sit down breakfast and found this quaint place to have brunch!!! Amazing food and best OJ I’ve ever had. Will surely come back when I’m NY again.
I love this restaurant. Marco is always there ensuring everything is perfect. We ordered a pasta and the branzino Both were excellent. The branzino was superb. My date is Roman. He loved the meal. Said it does Italian proud.
This is a lovely neighborhood restaurant. The food is consistently good. Love all the small plates and pastas. The wine list is good too with bottles at a number of price points. It's one of our regular places.
My mom and I had an amazing experience at Baker & Co. The ambiance is so cute including the patio in the back. The location is super cute in the west village. The food was incredible and appropriately priced. The rice ball appetizer was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Baker and Co is one of my favorite brunch places. However, I was really disappointed by their Chicken Salad. For 16 dollars, it was very mediocre. I’d go back for breakfast or brunch.
I’ve been here several times and it’s consistently very very good. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. The pricing is fair. And the interior is original and thoughtfully designed. Big fan.
Food was good on previous visits. Safe to say avoid baked eggs which were over cooked resulting in a very dry dish. Frittata was disappointing as well.
We went with a party of 8 and was able to book 1 hour out based on just timing as this is an intimate and special place.
We were a party from UK, India, Sydney Au, and many parts of US and we were all able to find a wonderful dinner including vegetarian.
The wine list is very well culled and thoughtful including sustainably sourced and managed vintages.
Our waitress was lovely and immediately matched our slower and diverse group that she was able to deftly gather and guide to ordering first and main courses while offering excellent recommendations. Some we heeded and others we should have such as the pork chop is delicious (!) and could have easily been split.
We will come back and it fits well within the Village and is intimate yet was able to adapt to a larger group.
We normally have a great time at Baker & Co (have probably been 8-9 times), but the food wasn't as good as it normally was the last time we went. My cousin had been given nuts that had gone bad, and my fiance's meal was pretty bland (it is normally delicious). I don't know if they had a new chef, or if they just didn't care as much because the place was empty, but we might avoid ordering food there again outside of peak Friday, Saturday, Sunday brunch times.
This is a great place!! Marcus greeted us as we walked in and was very friendly. The food was amazing. The small pizza and the cavatelli with shrimp dish was delicious. We also had the coffee which was outstanding!! We will definitely visit again :) Next time, dinner :) Thank you Marcus!!
This little restaurant is a great brunch spot if you're ever downtown.
Normally a great find, but for some reason over the weekend, the frittata was a bit overdone.
This restaurant is a great brunch spot! My friends and I ate here for brunch on a Sunday morning. We did have to wait about 15 minutes to be seated for our reservation. Additionally, the tables were very, very close together but we made it work. The food was delicious, I recommend the macaroni and cheese! I will definitely be back.
We had a great experience here! Food was delicious, friendly waiter, & yummy drinks! Exactly what we were hoping for for a girls night. Definitely would recommend.
Parfait pour bruncher
Food was not ok ! Missing flavor.
Vibrant Village Italian stand out. Good food and service. It's loud. Front bar, Middle inside section. Backyard covered sun room area. Good place for food and/or drinks at the bar. Our server was very cordial.
Delicious food at really great value, especially for west village! Can't wait to come back
I waited over 30 minutes for a mimosa... I had to ask on several occasions. They brought everyone else at my table their drinks except for me. I actually received my meal before my drink that’s how long I had to wait. The food was mediocre and the drinks were overpriced for lunch
We arrived a half hour early and the manager was happy to accommodate us. Our servers where fun, efficient and knowledgeable . We will definitely return!
Went with a friend on a Friday night and loved our experience at Baker & Co! It was a very cozy atmosphere with a great selection of drinks and food at very reasonable price points! The Gnudi is a must-have (mega-sized pillowy gnocci in a delicious cream sauce) and the Cavetelli with Shrimp and Cauliflower, while subpar to the gnudi, was also quite tasty. I will definitely return, and would also like to try their happy hour or grab a drink/app at the bar (we LOVED the Hopolicella (Lager/red wine/basil). Their Garden space (enclosed for the winter but open-air in warmer months), also looked like it had a great ambiance. This seems like a hidden gem and I look forward to returning!
