   Muy bueno todo, muy caro pero lo que sí no es creíble es que pedí unas alcachofas Tempura y estaban peor que pescaditos de la central de abastos fritos en aceite quemado, de hecho me enfermé, sáquenlas del menú.

   The place is beautiful, loved the ambiance and the music. The food was good. Service was odd. Just not to the level we expected for a pricyer meal. The server mixed our salad and served it to us, but then took the bowl away with food still in it.. never got to finish the salad and when we asked he didn’t understand what we were saying. Very very odd. He tried upselling us from 14oz of steak to 21oz.. tried telling us the 14oz was very small- showing us the size of his fist.. which was not accurate in the slightest. I showed him the pic on the menu of the very large steak we meant to order and he insisted it was too small. We ordered an extra app incase. We ended up not needing the extra app and should have trusted ourselves initially. When we sat down they asked if we wanted water (first time the whole trip anyones asked us if we wanted water upon arrival) we said yes… they charged us $40 for 2 water bottles …. which is so absurd. It was way too expensive in my opinion. The experience va the price did not align at all. We ate a much larger, better and more beautifully presented meal and had exceptional service at taboo the night before for $100 less. Between the overpriced menu, the weird experience with the salad and the shady upselling.. we wouldn’t return to Bak or recommend it to anyone else.

   Great spot! It’s a little on the pricey side, but great food and service! It sits in the heart of other hot spots/restaurants. It’s also very nice shopping, featuring local vendors. Overall, great spot!

   Came for my birthday and first time in tulum when I tell you it was awesome it was got to restaurant early to take pics. Then was greeted by franksue our waiter very nice guy. Even made a surprise birthday dessert for me I was happy. Definitely will recommend this place. And ask for fransue.

   Food was not worth the price. The waiter said the portions were for 2-3 people and the 2 of us didn’t get full at all.
