From the pictures on the Solaz website, it showed bar tops. We got a miserable table in the sand. Service was very slow.

Acudimos para disfrutar de la transmisión del Súper Bowl y creímos que Solaz sería una gran idea porque las veces que hemos asistido al brunch siempre ha sido un must, sin embargo esta ocasión hubo detalle que no nos permitieron disfrutar del todo la experiencia. Mi reserva era a las 4:30 a la cual llegue puntual, Joaquín me recibió en el área del evento y muy amablemente me pasó con su hostess para la asignación de mi mesa, misma que me comentaron en ese momento sería compartida por lo cual no tuvimos problema alguno, posterior a que me asignaran mi mesa y me sentara pasaron casi 30 minutos y ningún mesero se acercó a ofrecerme algo de tomar, la comida sabíamos que era buffet y es autoservicio, pero la bebida sería servida por el mesero, sin embargo nunca se acercaron. En el momento que llegó una pareja de americanos, que serían con los que compartiríamos la mesa, aún no los dejaba la hostess en la mesa cuando el mesero ya estaba ahí con ellos atendiéndolos y ofreciéndoles de tomar, por lo cual una vez más vemos que el trato al nacional y local es totalmente diferente que al extranjero, después de esto, le tomo la orden de bebidas y siguió sin atenderme a mi, por lo cual, me paré a preguntar a la hostess si yo tenía que ser extranjero y pagar en dólares para que me atendieran, acto seguido regreso a mi mesa ya con mis acompañantes que iban llegando cuando hablé con la hostess y en ese momento ya se acercó el mesero a ofrecer bebidas. Después de ese momento todo fue mejorando y el servicio fue constante. La comida fue muy buena y rica, sinceramente fue lo mejor del evento ya que la transmisión se interrumpió 2 veces y en una de estas fue cuando faltaban 2 minutos para que terminara el juego por lo cual ya no pudimos verlo porque al parecer ya no lo pudieron reparar y terminamos viéndolo en mi teléfono. Me encanta el hotel, me gusta su comida y los eventos que hacen, pero el servicio si dejo muchísimo que desear.
