My partner and I had been here in September 2020 before dine-in service was available, but we could peek inside past the manager’s shoulder and could tell that the interior was gorgeous and looked forward to visiting after pandemic restrictions had been lifted. We made a reservation for a double date and were not disappointed!

I was the only one out of our party of four who’s vegan, but everyone was absolutely delighted with both the food and drinks. One of the members of the other couple works in fine dining, so his word carried even more weight: he said he’d even return if he were in the mood for just drinks, which means a lot since he has spent the last decade doing bar programming!

We loved every course from the multiple appetizers to pastas to pizza and finally desserts. I couldn’t get enough of the mafaldine, which was a new-to-me pasta shape, perfect for gripping bolognese sauce. Their pizza crust was as good as I recalled from our takeout experience. The wood-grilled market vegetables had a wonderful char that elevated their original flavors.

I can’t wait to go back and try their brunch menu!

It was a horrible experience, they put us on high chairs for dinner, the food was bland. The only thing nice was the service, the waiter was really nice and kept us in loop as to why our order was being delayed

Brunch was amazing. Looked a little plain but when I put it in my mount, it was bursting with flavor.
Been there before for dinner as well, the lasagna and other pasta dish was delicious and very flavorful.
Best Italian food I had… and best part of all, all plant based.

Nice energy and ambience while not noisy. Food yummy but a bit too high in garlic. If not going to have beers on tap, at least should open the can when dropped at table - and pour it. Same for Pellegrino - open and pour. Only complaints, but these little things would move Baia to a five.

Amazing food that was beyond delicious. Sadly the service brought out experience down. Our appetizer came but it was the wrong dish. They soon corrected it but we got the sense the waiter wasn’t too attentive and we were right. We later ordered cocktails from the waiter. We waited and waited but they never came. it was clear he forgot about them and then we struggled to locate him when we wanted the check. Aside from the service, the food was 5+ stars and we hope to give it another try soon as perhaps the poor service was just a one-off thing.

Food was lovely and perfect for vegan, vegetarian and gluten sensitive persons, around half our party. Savory, perfectly cooked pastas and pizzas. Cocktails were also delightful.

We loved the ambiance; casual, but modern interior. We had a nice table by the window. Early dinner, so it was quiet; easy to talk. We are vegetarians so we were excited to try a completely plant based menu. Salad and appetizer were fantastic. How do you make parmesan look and taste so good without dairy? Pasta entre portions were a bit small, but very good. Drink prices were too expensive.
We'll be back!

The restaurant is so beautifully designed. The star chandelier with the bar in the middle was a cool layout. The food was delicious and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was a homeless man shouting curse words at the guy next to us for not giving him money. It was upsetting and I was hoping a server would come out to intervene, but they seemed to be short. Food was great!! I would definitely go back, but not sit outside. Not a good area to sit outside.

The food was wonderful. The Gluten Free pizza is one of the best I have had and you couldn't tell it was GF. Service was awesome and can't wait to go back.

Nice table, food was good except that the menu listed a pasta dish with eggplant which was not visible. The staff said it was part of the recipe. I responded if it is an eggplant reduction to list that on the menu. The easy solution would have been for the waiter to offer to redo the dish or to bring some eggplant on the side.

The other issue is asking if we wanted a refill on an ice tea and charging for it.

I hope this restaurant gets out the glitches. It has lots of promise.

The location is terrific, the ambiance lovely, the staff and host were fantastic. The food was so-so. We ordered the garlic knots to start which we hoped would be roasty toasty garlic from the pizza oven to spread on crusty bread - not so. The garlic were bland and pushed into connected rounds of white bread white - definitely nothing crusty nor toasty. The side or red sauce helped but this did not look like the pictures on their web site. For entrees we had the Parmesan which was eggplant parmesan and the radiatore. The eggplant was overcooked and tough on the outside edges - the sauce tasty but the same perhapps as the dipping for the bread. Radiatore were in a creamy sauce with broccoli pesto and small bits of sausage. It was promised to be spicy, but lacked zest. I would call it comfort food.

I would definitely go back for the service, location and comfort, but will order differently. Perhaps the lovely agnolotti my guest ordered, the caesar salad, or a pizza? Ciao ciao.

This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but service didn't reflect the prices or the environment/atmosphere. Used plates and silverware were not removed between courses, dessert was brought with only 2 spoons when there were three of us sharing, so we had to go fetch another spoon. The Querciabella chianti was not at cellar temperature and was served much too warm. The Caesar salad was excessively gloopy with too few croutons and too much Violife parm (not my fave as I find it coconut-ty). The meatballs and polenta were very good. The agnolotti were waterlogged and overcooked and the peas that were in the sauce were also overcooked, no longer bright green and vibrant. The parmesan was a single slab of eggplant that was served in a too small container on top of spring greens, so it ended up steaming rather than staying crisp and crunchy. Odd choice of presentation, it looked like airplane food to be honest. The spumoni was the best dish of the evening and highly recommended. I'm vegan and I'd heard great things about BAIA, but I found it underwhelming and disappointing, food-wise as well as service-wise.

The food was terrific and the employees we very nice and helpful. The only thing I would have changed was the temperature inside the restaurant, it was a little cold due to the front doors staying open. Overall great food and experience.

The food was AMAZING! I wasn’t expecting vegan Italian to be so delicious. We had the mozzarella sticks, cacio e pepe pizza, and the lasagna with beer and the Pinot noir to drink. The service was also good, but I wish the waiter had come by a bit more often. Will definitely return!!

The food was okay, but just okay. It was fresh, but not flavorful. We had the aranici, the mysitcanza salad, and confit potato pizza with a nice bottle of wine. Nothing was bad, off, or terrible. It was all just fine, but only just fine. It was rather bland and that was even after combating the creamy pizza with red pepper flakes. The service was great, the outdoor seating comfortable, the inside wonderful. It just sadly didn't impress any of us enough to ever consider going back.

1. It was freezing on the first floor so we asked to move to 2nd fl - no problem- we were moved upstairs - satisfied with our new table
2. Waiter was very busy - seemed to have the entire floor - and was overwhelmed- he was quite conscientious but was always in a hurry
3. Received our salad right away & it was delicious
4. Then we had an interminable wait between courses with no explanation
5. Received our 2 pastas - Agnolotti with an overdose of pepper - inedible & Malfaldine was ok.
6. By the time we ever saw the waiter again it was too late to get another entree
