We are extremely proud & excited to announce the opening of our second location and future sister restaurant, Baia Coastal Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar! ‘Baia,’ meaning bay in Italian, will be located right on the water in Chesapeake Beach with beautiful unobstructed views of the bay.     Best restaurant in North Beach / Chesapeake Beach area for sure. And there are a number of great places! Make a reservation. Do not miss the perfectly cooked fish, outstanding pasta, or the delicious pizza. Warm Spinach salad is also a favorite. Eat outside if the weather is nice.

    Bobby was a great waiter. He gave excellent suggestions for menu choices and wine pairings and the food was served quickly. Only downside was our wine sat a bit because he got a lot of tables last minute. I wish the two people at the bar could’ve brought our wine since we were sitting in the bar area.

    Everything was so delicious and cooked perfectly. The staff and servers were so kind and tentative. Atmosphere and ambience was inviting. Would recommend to anyone who loves Italian and seafood!! We will be back soon!

    We came for dinner for 4, it was our first time there and it did not disappoint. We had Sasha and Bobby on the roof top for dinner and they were great, they were friendly and chatted, quick to get what we needed and a pleasure to have.

    My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner. The gravy was very good for those who enjoy a good sauce. Service was excellent and the pistachio gelato is a must get for dessert. Very creamy and flavorful.

    Baia is fast becoming my favorite place to eat in the Cheasapeake beach area. The service is professional & friendly. The quality of food is consistent, and I can't find a thing wrong with this place. I love their burrata toast appetizer and always get the gnocchi, which has been a hit with two other people I introduced to Baia. Parking is not an issue, and the restaurant is good size, so you don't feel like crowded. I've only been on the weekends and the vibe has been great.

    Service was poor, food was over priced for what it was. Steak came out over cooked, crème brûlée was runny. Parking was difficult. It was very noisy. Don’t recommend coming on a busy Friday night.

    Great food and not your run-of-the-mill Italian. Unique twists and great seasonal dishes also. I hope the watermelon burrata salad comes back every summer !!! The only reason I gave 4 stars for value is because some of the dishes that don’t come with a side, should. Chicken parm should come with a choice of pasta or a side salad. The service is always top notch.

    Wife asked for balsamic vinegarette, me blue cheese for salads. Both came out w/ white wine vinegerette. We asked waitress why and she said did not have what we asked for? Why not say that when ordered. Squid ink dinner good but too spicy. No need to be that spicy. Wife had ricotta gnocchi. Pasta was like a chunk of dough. Sausage was good. Barratt toast was good. Sat in bar area and very cold in there. Waitress not so great

    Delicious meal, perfectly paced, with unintrusive music and gracious service. My husband had oysters on the half shell and scallop "orzotto" and I had the arugula salad and spaghetti caprese. We shared a bottle of wine, followed by beignets (to die for) and freshly brewed coffee. It felt like a great escape. We have had brunch here and drinks in the bar, and every time we have enjoyed ourselves. This was our first dinner. We'll be back!

    This is my second visit to Baia, and it was fantastic. I originally had a reservation for 6 and had a last minute change to 7. When I called, the lady who answered was so friendly and accommodating. When we all arrived we were promptly seated and waited on. The service and food was very good. There was a guy, Ryan Forrester, playing the guitar and singing. He had a wonderful voice. We ate a variety of flatbread pizzas and pasta dishes they were all very tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

    We made a reservation for our first wedding anniversary and opted to come for the brunch menu. Our reservation was for 2:45 and we arrived a little early and were seated immediately. As always, the food was wonderful, but we were rushed by our server to place our drink, appetizers, entree’s and desserts almost immediately because the kitchen was closing for turn over for the dinner menu. When the reservation was made, there was no mention of the kitchen closing for an hour nor was it mentioned when we arrived. We were more than happy to sit and enjoy the bar/drinks but our waiter insisted on ordering quickly. This rushed experience made our first wedding anniversary at one of our favorite places in the area feel unimportant and lacking.

    Overall, I'd say I was happy with my visit. I had heard mixed reviews of Baia prior to going and in short - if you have some baseline expectations, they met and exceeded them. The staff was extremely friendly, and helpful. We ran late for our reservations due to weather - no issues. I called (tough to get them on the phone!), and they were more than accommodating. Upon arrival, we were sat immediately, and greeted by our Server with water. We took some time to determine what we wanted to drink/eat and the server was more than happy to share her thoughts and suggestions. We settled for a Tuscana and Cab - both were good. Burrata toast - I'd totally get it again and the Gnocchi. Also good. You cannot go wrong, with homemade pasta. Nothing compares. The dish was tasty, and was well rounded in flavor. Don't expect left-overs, as most of their portions are properly suited for your meal (common for traditional Italian places - may not be common for the Chesapeake Beach area however). Perfect for a date night, girls night, etc.

    It was a pleasant surprise! We ordered oysters on the half shell and the watermelon salad for our appetizers. They were very good. Maybe one of the best watermelon salads !! For dinner we had the Gnocchi & a veal chop. Everything was done perfectly! We look forward to our next dinning experience!

    Excellent food, nice atmosphere and great service. The wait staff were very attentive and engaging. They also were well versed in the menu and able to make recommendations. It was a business diner and the atmosphere was very welcoming.

    The restaurant is clean and open with a nautical-themed decor. We ordered the bread with seasoned olive oil for dipping, 1 glass of wine, the Tuscan salmon, mushroom pizza, lemon-lemon-lemon for dessert (a must-have!), and 2 cappuccinos. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is great. Our server, Bobby, was fantastic. His enthusiasm, demeanor and knowledge of the area/food only added to our pleasant dining experience. We will definitely be back.

    Lovely to watch the Bay as we enjoy dinner in the bar area. Too hot today to sit on the porch. Wait staff especially helpful when we asked about different items we had not yet tried on the menu, both food and beverages.
