Reggae Night at Baia was great! Ambiance is perfect, band was great, food was better than we expected and service was pretty good with just a few glitches. I will say, that it would’ve been a far better experience if the band hadn’t been BLARING in volume. And I’m not that old, so I think I can say that safely since my party included people in age from their late 20s to early 70s. The bottom line is you cannot have a conversation during dinner. And if there’s a problem/need with your service, you literally have to yell for them to hear you. And some of the servers are a bit green and don’t realize the importance of bringing something immediately—like a fork or a napkin or condiment. So training could be improved. We had to ask three times for fork & napkin and more times for water to be refilled. Little things like that are all takes for people to get frustrated and not return. The restaurant definitely needs to pay attention to things like that and have ALL of their staff asking people, “Do you need anything?” and then Go. Get. It. Use those water server people for crying out loud when servers are super busy. Other than those two things, I think the place is really fun and we will be back.

Booked seven weeks in advance and asked for outside porch. Celebrating my daughters birthday. When we arrived they told us that the porch was first come, first serve and we would have to wait at least 35 minutes. We were very disappointed but since we had small children we decided not to wait for outside but accepted a table inside. They proceeded to take us to a table in the back of the restaurant furthest from the outside and next to the restrooms. We told them we were very disappointed and asked to be moved which they finally did. The hostesses had a very snippy attitude. Food was mediocre and they forgot something I ordered. Would not run back!!

Went to the restaurant for the first time in years. While the decor has been updated, it wasn't to my taste. The outdoor area is great, however, with nice views of the bay overlooking Ocean City. Our server was excellent and satisfied all our needs. The food was very good but not exceptional. We'll try it again.

Food was better than reviews had stated. View was amazing and music was great!! The wait staff was ok restaurant was not that busy for service to be slow. The hostesses thought we left and gave our reservation away. We arrived 15 minutes early and I asked if it was ok to sit at the bar outside. They said yes and I asked will you come get us and they said yes. Never came to get us and assumed we left....

We had dinner on the deck at 5:45 pm-the band came in and was entirely too loud and “club like music” at dinner hour-after 8 pm would be fine but not that early! Ruined the evening a bit-could not hear each other talk

Way overpriced, especially when compared to the quality and price of food nearby. We sat outside and enjoyed a lovely view and live music. We should have just went for drinks on the deck.
