The drinks was good but the food was ok at best.
I will not be returning. The manager was very accommodating however the reservation was scheduled for a birthday celebration party of eight. I was only able to reserve for a party of five, I called and was told that I would be accommodating once I arrived. Upon my arrival I was told the remaining party outside my party at five would have to wait an additional hour and a half. That was unacceptable and that’s why the manager had to intervene. Going forward the employees should immediately consult management before telling guess what they can and cannot do especially when you have parties of $300 in revenue or better even if it was a person with just a meal you should be accommodating to seatingYou are reserved consumers as priority instead of making them a part of the walk in clients that is the reason you would offer reservations as a priority
Booked a few days in advance and did not wait more than a few minutes for a table. The inside is huge and overcrowded for a group of 5. The entire time people were bumping into our chairs. The food came out just at the right time and was cooked very well. Our server who seamed kind of new was still very on top of things. Never had to ask for anything. I would recommend this restaurant but would also recommend to the restaurant to make more space for everyone.
They honored my reservation and even seated my party early. The ambiance was great. The server could have been a little more attentive because she forgot about my drink, however her attitude was quite delightful and she was knowledgeable.
Had a great waiter we sat outside the weather was awesome and there was a one-man band planFood was delicious
The food and service were great. It was quite loud though which did make it hard to hear other guests, but that was a mixture of loud music and loud tables around the restaurant
Everything was great about our experience here. The service was quick, and efficient. Our server, Lilly was really nice and gave us some recommendations on food. The ribs were insane! So much meat and it fell right off the bone. We also had the coconut shrimp and jerk chicken bow tie pasta. All of the food was amazing and since we got the full portion and a full rack, we had plenty of food to bring home. The margarita flights are pretty cool but we heard the pina colada is also amazing. Even with two margarita flights and all of that food, we stayed under $100. Definitely recommend!
First time there, atmosphere was great, noise level wasn't too bad but you can expect it where there's a crowd. Food was good, alcoholic drinks was ok.
It was just ok today, new waiter, order wasn't right, strawberry lemonade too sweet, had to ask lady to clean off table, a big difference from when they first opened
Great service … good food for a chain restaurant.
Food is always good and service superb. Been a few times since they opened and not bad experiences or complaints.
Paella was quite dry but other three meals are outstanding (calypso shrimp linguine, tropical chicken salad, Applewood bacon & cheddar burger, Bahamian seafood chowder). We were actually seated a little before our 5:15 reservation by very cordial employees and our wait staff could not have been nicer. Very nice addition to the North Charleston restaurant scene!! A little on the noisy side.
We were not seated for 15 minutes even though we arrived on time. Food and our server were excellent, as was our cocktails. What did I order? A Bahama Mama, of course.
Planning on going for Happy Hour with friends next week.
Had reservations at 2:15 pm , we had to ask who our server was and we also had to ask for drinks! By this time it was almost 3:00 when we put our order in. Waited and waited and no one came and checked on us we watched people come and go! By this time it was 4:30 we haven’t received our food nor has ANYONE CAME TO CHECK ON US.. we finally got a manager who was NON apologetic and we told them we didn’t want anything that we would pay for our drinks and leave he said okay then walked off. This is the second time this happened. I won’t be wasting my time going back. Not worth it.
Service was good. Food came out fast. Vary little conch in the fritters. The conch that was in there was very chewy, like a rubber band. The jerk wings were pretty good but had zero spice. Same with the jerk chicken sandwich. The blackened mahi tacos were the best thing we ordered. I wouldn’t order the conch fritters again.
It was awesome!
We had a great experience! Everything was wonderful! We had drinks. The food looked like it was in a magazine. Then the food was delicious!
Family did not care for the food the waitress disappeared the jerk chicken was overcooked did not have a good time
Great experience! I hadn’t been to a Bahama Breeze since Atlanta so I’m glad that it’s here in Charleston. Everything from start to finish was great. Great service, food, drinks and atmosphere. Will return
very pleasant atmosphere, food was very good and waitress was very helpful !!
Fun girls night out!
The bathroom was closed for the first part of the evening. The food was served cold and alcohol drinks were mixed poorly.
They were busy and understand service may suffer as a result.
Sat outside, area was nice.
Most of the food was excellent. All of our party had fairly pleasant experiences. They lost the plate for one of our people, which was awkward, since I normally won't start eating until everyone has food. My Salmon was overcooked, crusty on the outside, but had a great taste (what wasn't crunchy. Reserving our table through OpenTable worked well, and our tables were ready pretty much on time. Our waitress was slow, and got lost. Our next door table who was seated after us, was almost finished before we got our food. Overall, I would go back to give them another opportunity to prove themselves.
The food was great. Jerk chicken had a great flavor. Ropa Vieja was tasty! We will be back
Absolutely loved it
The food was very good and hot when it reached the table. The portions were worth the money as well as the cocktails.
First time dining here and it was nice. Food came faster than normal which surprised me and tasted good. I didn’t really hear too much of the music cause of the loud groups of people. Waiters and servers were friendly.
We all enjoyed our experience with Bahama Breeze. We have been there since it opened and have not had any problems. My Dad has a saying, when a new place opens, don’t go there until they have been opened for at least 3 months or even longer… so they can iron out any issues. When we didn’t listen to his advice…. we have learned our lesson at other restaurants. BUT, THIS WAS NOT THE CASE AT BAHAMA BREEZE in North Charleston, SC. The very first time they opened, it was like they had been opened for years. Excellent Food, Service, Clean, Atmosphere, and worth the Money. We have been back several times and we have recommended it to others. Awesome please and one of my favorites.
The food was good the drinks and service was even better!
Second time even worse than the first. Went so daughter could judge for herself. The coconut shrimp was good. The steak was cooked incorrectly and had an odd taste. Somehow the mashed potatoes tasted sweet. There will be no strike three as we,don't ever plan on returning.
I ordered the paella and was disappointed. 2 out of the 5 mussels weren't even opened and no "crust". The scallops were good and there was plenty of chicken and shrimp, but overall found the experience disappointing.
Food was good nice atmosphere and the drink I had bahamarita waa oh so good we will definitely be back
Our server was great!
Very nice meal and ambiance
We ordered two Margarita Flights, only one arrived. Mentioned to the gentleman that dropped off the first flight that there should be another. He said let me check into that then never came back, second flight never arrived. After ten minutes I was able to flag our waitress and question about the second flight. She promptly corrected and delivered herself. No napkins or utensils arrived until after our food was set on the table. Had to ask for water refill several times. Jerk Chicken was dry and the rice was already cold when placed on the table. It's little things that separate a great dining experience from an average visit. Bahama Breeze has such potential but this location offers an average experience and I probably won't return because there are many other options in the area where you can have an exceptional dinner for the same price.
first time there, and a little disappointed. had coconut shrimp -- was well cooked but shrimp was tasteless -- broccoli was overcooked. Will be back and try something different.
The food and service were great. Will go again.
We love it there!
Enjoyed the atmosphere inside, was nicely decorated/themed. The appetizers and frozen drinks were our favorite part of this restaurant. Would recommend the Bahamarita and pina colada for drinks and the coconut shrimp as an appetizer. Would also recommend going Monday-Friday during happy hour (4-6) to receive half priced drinks and appetizers. Wait time was about 10 minutes with a reservation. But most people we overheard without a reservation was looking at about 25 minutes. Waitstaff we had was really nice.
Even with our reservation we had to wait 30 minutes!
