Excellent food and the sweet corn risotto was spectacular! We orders it twice.
Been to Baela Rose a few times, but have not been for Brunch. I will tell you it’s as good, if not the BEST in town! The chicken and waffles is by far the best I’ve had in Omaha, especially The confit style chicken which was exceptional!!! and they give you a whole waffle, not just half. The amount of food on all of our dishes were really nice to see. French Toast was equally yummy and love the French Press!!!! It’s time to put Baela Rose up there with the Best restaurants we have in Omaha!
Wonderful presentation. Amazing food! We keep coming back because it’s so good!
Would like to have had a few more options on the menu
the food was fabulous! Never dissapoints! The rhubarb mojito was great!
the menu is a little limited (choice of 4 entrees) but that may be expected for demanding super fresh ingredients. The food is outstanding. The room is beautiful, the wine list is good, and the service (after an initial stumble) was impeccable. The initial impression was a little negative because when we walked in there was a sign "seat yourself" - not what we were expecting. We sat at a table near the bar and the bartender never acknowledged us (it was not that busy that she could not have seen us) and it was very close to 5 minutes (i know, not an eternity but still) before a server came out to greet us. After that the service was excellent.
Had an awesome experience here for our 5th Wedding Anniversary. My wife and I had cocktails and shared a 4 course meal over a couple hour span. Our waiter was quite knowledgeable and engaged which helped make the meal a memorable experience. They even gave us a complimentary dessert in honor of the occasion.
Really nice place, but stay away from the crispy pig ears.
My husband and I couldn't think of a better way to top off an Omaha Chamber Music Society concert than an early dinner at Baela Rose with our concert-going friends! The ambiance and the professional, warm service offer a lovely tone. Moreover, the appetizers and main courses we have sampled all have been interesting and satisfying. We consider Baela Rose one of the most outstanding restaurants we have found anywhere. (Of course, it helps that the restaurant is open on Sundays and a very short drive from the Omaha Conservatory of Music.)
Always a wonderful experience with amazing food and service. It’s a family favorite.
I like to support small businesses, but still question whether what we had was worth the $100 + that we spent. They do a great job in terms of presentation.
Wonderful service--our server was knowledgeable about the food and wine and checked frequently (but was not obnoxious) to make sure we enjoyed everything--which we did! My friend and I shared the veggie chips, the cauliflower sliders, the beet plate and a charcuterie board. All delicious!
Great food, need to try! Stacks up against the best in Omaha!
Third visit-wonderful all 3 times but has gotten better and better! Food is fresh, creative, wonderful. Service is impeccable. Very impressed and cannot wait to go back !!
Beautifully prepared food and just as delicious as it tasted! One of the best places to eat In Omaha! Seems it’s a hidden gem!!!
Baela Rose had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. A group of friends and I came in to eat, and orders about 7 apps that came out really fast and spaced well. They were all excellent in taste and presentation. The were all the perfect size to share and still be hungry for the main course. Our entrees came out just as fast and were incredible. I tried a little of every entree and would recomend them all, it’s hard to chose. I would highly recommend eating here, it is one of my new favorite spots and will be back. You will not be disappointed.
Beautiful food and wonderful service. We loved our cocktails, appetizers and entrees! Would come back in a heartbeat.
Waited quite some time from order to arrival - waitress was very short with my 85 year old mother when she had two separated requests.
Not what I was expecting but, way better. Never been there and didn't even know anything about. Was great delicious food and drinks.
This was our first visit. We were there for Mother's Day brunch. I will try this restaurant again for dinner, but I can't recommend it for a Sunday brunch.
Food was great! Smaller menu, so I like to think they focus on making each item top-notch, and no one in my party left hungry. Recommend the brisket hash, so good! Host seemed inexperienced, stated I did not have a reservation and wasn't helpful when shown my confirmation and told they'd called me to confirm a week prior. Another staff member quickly remedied the issue and sat us, she was very nice. Server was chatting with other guests while our drinks and then our food sat for well over an acceptable lag time for a busy joint. The food shines here, but the service leaves me iffy as to whether I'd return.
Great brunch for Mother's Day. Superb service from our server, Liam. Will go back soon.
Excellent, knowledgeable server. Beautiful, creative plates. Casually elegant atmosphere. Good value for a memorable meal.
Outstanding food and service!! Highly recommended.
The ambiance was lovely, the food was imaginative and tasty and the service was great. Our favorite dining experience in Omaha.
Very unique menu with selections from appetizers to entrees, most items are very special creations of the chef. We loved the stinging nettle risotto, roasted bone marrow, charcuterie tray and all of the entrees.
Loved our experience here. The food was fresh, light and delicious
We love the restaurant! The staff are great. The menu is quite eclectic do it MSU not suit everyone, but we think it’s trrrific. And the ambiance is low-key, not stuffy
Delightful dinner. 2 of us ordered 7 items and everything was prepared and presented well. A couple of tasty cocktails along with great service made for a great date night out. Well worth a visit!
It was good and tasty, dessert was phenomenal. Server wasn't overbearing. Will definitely be back.
The food was fantastic, and the service was the best I've ever had. We ordered several plates to share, which our waitress automatically coursed for us. She was extremely attentive and and all courses arrived with perfect timing. We were never rushed, by any means, but we never waited more than a couple of minutes for the next course. Extremely impressed with the entire experience. Will definitely return.
We had a large group of us (11) for brunch. Our service was amazing, the food was great and the ambiance was perfect. I could not recommend Baela Rose enough.
Very pleasant experience which included good options for one with gluten intolerance. Very small quibble-the entree could have been served a little hotter.
We traveled from Kansas City for the weekend and enjoyed brunch at Baela Rose before our departure. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the food was even better. Great place to relax and eat!
Food was great. Service was friendly and attentive. Will return often.
Fun, relaxing evening with a dear friend. Food was great. Service impeccable. Topped it off with lovely coffee in an individual french press! Would go back in a heartbeat.
great service and decor. Food was disappointing, bland. Bloody Mary poor
Great culinary experience
Tremendous service, beautiful plating, delicious and perfectly prepared dishes. Met some family for Easter Brunch, all ordered different menu items, everyone enjoyed their dish without any complaints...hats off to the chef
Enjoyed Baela Rose for Easter Brunch. The plates were as beautifully presented as they were delish. We enjoyed creative servings of biscuits and gravy (not your grandma’s heavily peppered white sauce)... refined and savory. I am the person who would eat homemade biscuits every day... and these did not disappoint. Also noshed on the hash (there was also a veggie version that greatly tempted me). The hash featured crunchy potatoes and crisp ham sitting on a smear of beautiful red beet sauce. Lovely. Paired with the endless mimosas (orange juice or grapefruit juice) and we were set. We brunches early at 10:30 am... the brick restoration dining room was pleasant and about half full... peeprfect for a quite Sunday morning. My only suggestion would be to add a few more items to the small menu... like savory egg dishes, and paleo friendly options.
