From start to finish it was unfortunately a terrible experience. I had noted prior to arriving that we were there to celebrate a birthday. That was never acknowledged. Our server took our order, the appetizer came, thirty minutes passed after that and nothing. Tables around us were getting served so we knew something was wrong. When we asked about our order a different server told us that it never got put in. We had to leave to get to a concert so we quickly ordered some samosas and left. The bill came and a discount was given, but hardly and apology. I was very disappointed as this was meant to be a special birthday dinner. The service was terrible, the ambience lacking (lights flickering all around us), glasses of wine were subpar and overpriced, and the food, the little we were able to try, was just ok. We were so excited to try badmaash but I don’t ever see us going back or recommending this place. Big shifts in management need to occur. It felt lacking in every way.

Drove up so far to celebrate a special occasion. Poor ambiance, small portions and extremely high prices. Not worth the time and money Won’t be returning back !

Absolutely amazing! One of our favorite restaurants in downtown. Home cooked Indian food, love the classics, and the modern twists, such as the Tika Poutine. Friendly service, and lovely interiors. Great local vibe....
