Badageoni Georgian Kitchen
Silk Road introduced flavors from the Caucasus, the Mediterranean, and other parts of Europe to the country’s culinary background.
While Georgian food is rich with meat dishes, there are also a variety of vegetarian and vegan choices.
You don’t want to miss Georgian wine, especially the qveri, amber wine fermented in clay vessels.

An amazing restaurant with yummy food. I didn’t know what to expect with Georgian food, but the manager/waitress helped us so much. You can tell that they really care about the food and drinks that they serve. It was a perfect place to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary.
So refreshing to get a taste of delicious Georgian cuisine in New England. Food was amazing, and the staff very courteous and accommodating. I wish the interior were decorated a little more authentically and it weren’t freezing cold with AC inside the restaurant.
Food was delicious, not a big selection of wine but good quality, would definitely revisit.
It was my first time having Georgian cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good as well as the service. The noise level was very high but we were able to have a conversation. The restaurant decor is simple and clean. I had adjaruli without the egg; this is basically an open face bread filled with melted cheese. It was delicious! I can still savor it. I also had lamb dumplings (khinkal); they were very good. Since I am a cornbread lover, I had to try it. It was good and I would definitely have it again but its texture is different than typical American cornbread. My companion had Cornish hen which he enjoyed. For dessert we had a dish named after the restaurant, badageoni. It is similar to the Italian dessert, panna cotta. So for those of you who like that, you would like this also. I personally did not care for it. It’s not a matter of how it was prepared, just my own personal taste.
I would highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be returning!
The service was a bit confused. The brought our soups after the entree. They did keep the entree warm while we ate the soup. The soups were very plentiful. The chicken should be cut in smaller pieces. I typically don't eat soup with a knife and spoon.
Fantastic food, prompt and friendly service. We enjoyed our date night, we will return again and frequent more often. The traditional dishes were full of flavor and cooked perfectly.
Excellent restaurant. Unique food and an inviting atmosphere.
Amazing food and wonderful service. You must try this place.
DELICIOUS. Food was wonderful and service team were excellent. If you like melty cheese, you can’t miss the Adjaruli - it even tastes good the next day cold. (But make sure you have someone show you how to properly mix before enjoying if you aren’t familiar)
We will absolutely be back!
Bad service. Also, Restaurant ran out of wine. Food is really good. If they can get it together, this could be a good place.
Horrid… disinterested bartender… no servers…. Awful ambience
We visited as a group of six. We had never eaten Georgian food before. The cheese breads were amazing and we also enjoyed a cold appetizer platter, Cornish hen, dumplings and lamb kebab. Everything was delicious!
They are understaffed because, as is the case with many restaurants these days, restaurant staff is hard to find. However, the service was friendly and attentive nonetheless. We will definitely be going back!
We went to Badageoni for Mt. Kisco Restaurant Week with friends. We had never had food from Georgia. 2 of us had salads which they very much enjoyed. One had the mushrooms & I had the creamed spinach. Both were fine as well. We ordered a bottle of wine which the waiter simply put on the table w/o giving any of us a sample. Until we checked we didn't even realize the bottle had been opened. We were still on our appetizers when the main course (dumpling) appeared-2of us ordered the dumplings-for one of us, which came with nothing on the side, (& 2 the grilled chicken). We told him to go ahead & have it so it doesn't get cold. Eventually the other dumpling dish came. & then the grilled chicken. 3 chocolate mousse cakes & 1 strawberry for dessert. We much prefer a traditional mousse in a glass. The food was interesting but the service definitely needs work.
Went for lunch during restaurant week, and had spinach soup, chicken kebabs and strawberry mousse cake. My partner had the mushrooms soup, another chicken dish on the menu and chocolate mousse cake. Both soups were served cold and were good, although I preferred the mushrooms. Chicken was seasoned and grilled perfectly. Desserts not overly sweet. White wine was nothing to mention of.
Service was ok. The guy waiter was pleasant but definitely didn't like his job. Overall, food is very good that would go back and let the tip reflect the service.
Excellent Georgian food and wine. The Adjaruli khachapuri (cheesy bread boat), lamb stew, and stuffed grape leaves were the best. One of our favorite places in Westchester.
The the cheese boat bread was outstanding as were the apps we had.
Very nice people. Food was good. Service was excellent
Service was all over the place and toward the end of the night very rushed. Food was very salty and good but the cost/taste did not match. Asked for recommendations and was given very little to go by.
Delicious. delicious. food !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tried Georgian for the first time. Appetizers and cheese bread and chicken in the garlic cream sauce. I can't wait to go back. The caviar/ fish service was okay.
So delicious !!!!
Amazing authentic Georgian food, simply delicious! We always order themali and lyulya kebab, eggplant rolls and eggplant salad. This time we tried Lobio, if you love beans you will be obsessed with this dish! Their traditional bread boat is loaded with cheese and it’s better than any white pizza you ever had in your life I promise! We drive here from CT, if we lived close by we would be dining here regularly for sure. YUMMMM
My first time at Badageoni and having Georgian food, will definitely not be the last time for either. Everything was delicious. Already planning my next visit.
It one was of the best dinners we’ve ever had!
Stellar food. Wonderful staff.
A true gem. Family style, bring your appetite.
We loved the food. It's was authentic Georgian flavor. We ordered 4 appetizers and we were full. The wine was delicious. We wanted to try chacha - unfortunately they were run out and it was Friday evening :(. The owners should work on the interior , it feels very bare and not cosy enough - definitely doesn't have Georgian vibe/look.
Unfortunately service was not good at all.
This was a really great meal. Never having tried Georgian food before made this a bit if an adventure. The staff was very helpful in describing the food and allowing us to taste their great Georgian wines before we picked a bottle for dinner. The service is friendly and earnest but not very polished. You get a real family feel from the staff. All in all we will be back
Perfect for a day/night date. We ordered four different appetizers and it was more than enough food for the 2 of us.
Good food but somewhat stoic/unenthusiastic service.
Delicious food. Just like in Georgia
Excellent Georgian food! We love the authenticity, ambience, and service.
I’ve had better Georgian food before. The bread was okay, the imeruli xachapuri was not tasty, but I liked beef chashushuli. That was the only dish I liked out of many things ordered.
Comfort food all year round. Very fresh and we loved the corn bread we added on.
Excellent food and staff Thank you
Love the food , second time here.
Excellent! When we arrived, the owner set us up at an outdoor table and helped us better understand the menu. She made several suggestions, almost of which we decided to try. We were not disappointed. Having never enjoyed Georgian cuisine before, we were surprised and delighted with the experience. Everything was delicious.
Service was good, but the only thing holding me back from a five-star review was the frequent feeling of needing something at our curbside table, but our server was indoors without keeping tabs on his three outdoor tables. We're eight months into the pandemic, so we really felt it wasn't all that much to ask to get the outdoor dining thing right.
All said, flavors were amazing. Value was amazing. We'll most definitely be back.
Only my second time having Georgian cuisine! Much better than my first experience (some other restaurant). Will definitely try again in the near future.
Good authentic Georgian food. Definitely try some of the Georgian wine!
