What a great experience! Truly lived up to the hype. Elise was our server and went out of her way to make my Fiances birthday dinner special. She gave amazing suggestions, ensured she checked up on us and was on top of it all! The filet with the ravioli was incredible, the yellowtail, babka, the dessert!

We ate at Bad Roman for our anniversary after seeing their videos on Instagram and it was 100% worth it! Their famous filet with the ravioli on top was delicious as well as the Babka & Meatballs as starters. Service was excellent and very attentive! Cool ambiance, definitely worth a try!

Ordered the burrata (okay), Caesar salad (delicious), rock shrimp pasta (my favorite), steak with cacio e Pepe ravioli (steak is only the vessel for the ravioli, not good; but the ravioli is a rich treat), and lemon cheesecake (cute presentation, but super sweet). Our server was more robotic than personable. Other staff continuously knocked into me while tending to other tables without acknowledgement, and even hit my arm while removing a plate from our table without an apology, which was not great. Setting is kitschy. As someone who lives in NYC, it feels like a tourist trap. Wouldn’t come back.

It was good. Def a bit of hype around it. I’m not sure the ability to get a table equals the quality of food and experience. But it was good. I had a 515p res. They didn’t seem ready. It took 15 mins before someone came over for our drink orders. Overall the meal took 2 hours and 15 mins. A bit long for a regular dinner. Lobster for 2 was good. Cesar salad was solid.

I went because I found the menu interesting- twists on existing dishes. but found everyting had cheese and butter to an extreme. execution not great - had the penne swimmining in butter very little pancetta - poor man's carbonara babka didn't work lobster scampi lacked flavor - had better - presentation was nice Peperoni - greasy again - but i liked it

I cannot begin to emphasize how mediocre this food was. I, too, read negative reviews from restaurant goers online, and I, too, brushed them aside, thinking to myself “with all the buzz these people must just be bitter and stuffy.” My mistake. Wretched food, wretched cocktails (or perhaps just not my taste), terrible value.

Spectacular in every way. Sometimes restaurants with a lot of hype don’t live up to it but Bad Roman exceeded our expectations in every way. Loved it and we will be back!

Server seemed disinterested when arriving to the table. Drinks were ordered, along with the pepperoni shareable but when trying to order the caesar salad, we were told we couldn’t order it until we ordered our meals. Server perked up a little when discussing entrees, only to check on us a singular time after receiving our salad and our food. We sat for about 35 minutes before waving down a maitre d’ to ask for dessert menus and boxes. He brought them back, with no apology for the server leaving us sitting for so long, and took our drink and dessert orders. We ordered the cannoli shareable dessert, which took about another 20 minutes to receive. By this point, we were over it, had our dessert boxed and once again grabbed the dude in the plaid coat to close us out. My friend’s filet mignon, while decent, was medium well rather than the medium she ordered and to say any plate “wowed” me would be the biggest overstatement. My favorite part of the meal was the attentiveness of the server assistants to refill my water. There was so much hype around this restaurant and we were so excited to attend, but found the service (aside from the SA’s) sub par and really no better than Carrabas.

Let's talk food: The salads are fantastic and the sharable garlic babka no-miss. Mains were generous in size but blah in taste: Chicken limone tasted more like onions. Branzino was fair, not outstanding. Flavorless pounded chicken dish. What is outstanding is the wait service. Attentive without hovering. Good cozy booths if you can snare one. Interesting ladies' room decor. Oh yeah, it would be nice if the hostesses at reception welcomed all guests warmly and sincerely.

We had to get a waiter every time we needed something. Drinks, wanted to order, wanted refills, wanted desert. We sat there for 20mins waiting for refills once we got our food, no one ever asked if we needed anything, plenty of staff just always had to flag a person down for something.

Staff made the effort to accommodate our reservation requests. All courses were excellent but you especially can't go wrong with the black truffle honey dipped ricotta or any of the salads. Service was wonderful. Have recommended Bad Roman to friends.

I was there with a toddler and I'm pretty sure our server forgot about us multiple times. Took forever to order and then food took over 30 minutes to arrive. Food was lukewarm, meaning the server forgot and just left it for a very long time... Anyway for this price I will never return. Oh and my toddler nearly lost it from hunger. Not cool.

Food was amazing!!! Started with Caesar salad, whipped ricotta, and the meatballs. All perfection. Main course we did the filet with Cacho a Pepe ravioli on top. It was a 10/10!! The cheese from the ravioli spilling out on top of the meat was a combination I didn’t know I needed. Service was subpar just was very busy and took a while to get things from the waiter. Overall will come back and have to save room for desert.

Staff could not have been nicer or more professional. Service was generally good, although they forgot one of our salads, but everyone's human:) Pastas could definitely be improved especially the penne gricia. Those thick tubes are kind of ridiculous and not easy to eat. I'm all for the creative and unexpected but this dish made no sense especially when you compare it to the Good Roman original. The other two pastas were just ok. Everything else was EXCELLENT. Looking forward to going back.

My husband and I went to Bad Roman for our anniversary. Everything was wonderful. Luis, our server was incredibly attentive. All of the food was delicious. Would definitely go back.

Dined there with my friend prior to an 8pm musical. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. I love asking the employees what their favorite items on the menu are. They work there, they know. We had the roasted garlic babka, scallops, filet mignon with Cacio e Pepe ravioli on top, sautéed spinach and roasted Brussels. Main dishes are served solo so be sure to order sides. Drinks were amazing too! I had the Strawberry Spagliato. We finished dinner with the sticky toffee panettone which was so good! The atmosphere was very relaxed and we were not rushed at all. Make sure you try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

Quality Branded has done it again. A fine meal was had by the four of us. Standouts were the Prosciutto Board with its lean pieces or both Italian and American prosciutto. The beef Cappuccio with potato chips and dressing was very good, as was the octopus. Each of the three pastas -- the penne, Chitarra and rigatoni and the veal chop were all very good. Vegetables including the spinach and the Brussel sprouts were good. The only complaints at our table were the skate and the broccoli rabe. We had a delicious lemon cheesecake. Cocktails were also good, including the strawberry Sbagliato, the Roman Cocktail and the gin martini. Our total bill was $450. For that quality nothing bad about that.
