    Table service was horrendous. Took an hour and a half to get our food- this was for lunch and the restaurant was not even full. They offered a complimentary dessert but at that point we had to leave.

    The ambience, food, drinks, and service - ALL a 10/10. Loooooved celebrating here. Will definitely be coming back. The lemon cheesecake is a must.

    This was our first night in New York and we couldn’t have been happier! The meals were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We hope some day to return.

    Had a big milestone birthday dinner at Bad Roman with 9 of my closest friends and it was such a great night. We all shared a bunch of appetizers, salads and small plates, on top of our entrees and some desserts - yes, the waiter(s) did sing to me, haha. Everything was so delicious and I would definitely return to try some things again and some other things we didn't get to try.

    Beautiful, energetic setting and great ambience! Unfortunately the service and the food were not at the same level and fell short of a premier restaurant. It is difficult to stand out as an Italian restaurant in NYC - especially at the high end - and not many dishes were average or better for Manhattan. As for the service,the staff was very friendly and cordial but did not anticipate our needs well at all. For example, they cleared our appetizer plates and utensils but never brought us new utensils before the mains arrived. They did not bring us knives for veal Milanese. They knew we were sharing pasta dishes but did not bring spare plates or spoons to serve. None of this is a big deal but… this level of service (to anticipate our needs) is expected at a high-end restaurant (and for $40 pasta dishes).

    Probably the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. I never write reviews but Bad Roman went above and beyond for my friend’s birthday dinner. The staff was attentive, friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious (get the lemon cheesecake!) the drinks were fun and unusual. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

    It was our first time there. It was my husband‘s birthday. The place was so loud. We had to move our table twice. They initially placed us right next to the service entrance to the kitchen. There was so much traffic. The place was way too loud for us. We could hardly hear each other speak. My salad was the size of a full dinner plate. I could’ve split it into four servings. Way too much of arugula and vinegar to eat all at once. My fillet was good, but overall the experience was awful and I was very disappointed. The service was scanty. We had to hail someone down to get the check. Because we wanted to leave early. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. I thought it would be a more pleasant experience. I guess we are spoiled with our fine dining experiences from the past. It’s more of a touristy place.  Way too much of arugula and vinegar to eat all at once.
