   Good food, wine and beer . Ice cream had great flavor but a bit crystallized. Great ambience and service. Enjoyed and we will be back.

   Excellent and unique menu. All very tasty. Brussels sprouts soup, mushroom pastry, quinoa salad, chicken pot pie and eggplant rolatini. All delicious! Oh and blueberry cobbler and blueberry ginger ice cream. Yummy!

   Friendly and comfortable environment with good food and drink. A nice place to bring out of town guests. They have good chefs, so we’d like to see a few more entree selections to the menu.

   A real jem! Great food! Beer was very good. They are just opening post COVID so still working the kinks out of their dinner service. A MUST if you want a great meal at a DownEast fine dining restaurant. Follow them on Insta for updates

   It is great to have a real restaurant in Machias. Everything was good. They are obviously trying and know what they are doing. We will go back.

   Unexpected gem in Machias. Searched on OT for 4 of us expecting to finding nothing and this was listed. The food and beer were great. We started with a charcuterie board, a couple cups of Portuguese seafood stew, a bowl of the sweet and spicy nuts, and house made beers. All were enjoyed especially the Porter beer. For dinner we had the chicken pot pie, BLB burger, and a couple of the tuna specials. Everyone thought their dinners were exceptional but were too full for the awesome looking desserts. Was a restaurant you would expect in Portland. not in Machias.

   My friend has to eat gluten free. We were really impressed with the unusual and delicious variety of choices of courses on the menu. The wait staff was attentive and kind. Definitely worth a visit, if you find yourself in Machias!

   Food was excellent and the presentation was very good. They have a wide variety of not only beer but wine and cocktails. This was are second visit and will not be our last. We are one hour away from this restaurant.
