I had high hopes for a restaurant called “Bacon Nation”. I had no idea it was inside the D Casino, because the website doesn’t tell you that. We had a hard time finding it. The server was terrible. Never brought cream for the coffees, never offered water, and seemed confused the whole time. Once we got our good, she never returned. The quality of the food was also poor. The bacon was severely undercooked. In the eggs Benedict-ish, one egg was hard boiled all the way through and the other was barely cooked at all.

The food was underwhelming. I ordered eggs Benedict. The first order came out with hard poached eggs and broken hollandaise. When the remake came out, which was after my boyfriend finished his breakfast, the eggs were poached fine but the hollandaise was still broken. The Benedict is served without a side; a $21 eggs Benedict should come with a side of hash browns. Some will say it’s Vegas but this restaurant isn’t even on the strip. My boyfriend got the all you can eat breakfast. I will say the pancakes were much better than my eggs. However his hash browns were undercooked and had no seasoning. The scrambled eggs were fine. The truffle bacon was meh. We didn’t have any alcoholic beverages just two drip coffees. I don’t know about you but when I go out to eat and spend $75 on breakfast I expect more then fine. Our server was very nice but she was overwhelmed so the service wasn’t great. Over all I would steer clear of this place there are definitely better places to spend your money downtown.

I was a little disappointed that within an hour I was hungry again. I had to order a side with my main dish, maybe that’s a sign I eat too much, but for the money you expect a little more on your plate? Maybe they were short-staffed? We weren’t visited as often as you would think either.

AWFUL. Will never go back. Was handed a plate with the wrong order, and they took it back to their (open) kitchen and I watched them hand it to another patron after I had already touched it. Put waitress was absent. Our appetizer was out after our food but had sat under the heat lamps for about 30 minutes. The bacon was dried out and the bbq on top was congealed…because it sat for so long. The waitress had an attitude with us the whole time. I called the health department because there are many many issues with this establishment. VERY DISSATISFIED. If you are looking for a good breakfast…try hash house a gogo, dennys, McDonald’s even.

I wanted to express my disappointment with this place when I visited with two out of town guests with me on Tuesday, July 25th at 7pm. We had reservations and walked in. The sign said to seat ourselves so we wanted a booth. I walked up to a lady that works there as she was leaning up against a wall and I asked her if we could have a booth and she said no as those seats aren’t open. I then asked do I have to let anyone know I have reservations? She said no to just have a seat and someone will be right with us. She went back to leaning up against the wall and we sat forever while we waited for menus! This couple next to us felt bad we were waiting for so long for menus that she gave us her nachos because she wasn’t too happy with them. Once a worker say this, she came running over with menus while the other lady was still leaning up against the wall. I counted two people at the counter eating and the two tables in the front being used and of course, the lady and her husband who gave us her nachos in the whole restaurant. We asked for water with lemons, didnt get lemons. The food came and looked very sad. The BarCanada Poutine didnt have much of any cheese curds or gravy. I got the Reserve BLT which didnt look nothing like the photo online. I asked for another one has the lady said, “another cook must have cooked it.” She came back with it and there was so much mayonnaise on the outside! How can you hold that? The mayonnaise should be inside not coving the outside of the sandwich.The wings we got didnt have the correct sauce on them and the final item was the bacon missing the sauce. I was shocked that all bacon nation does is put a sauce on the bacon for that price. I thought the bacon may have a dry rub on it or marinating in the sauce. The waitress did notice the bacon was missing the sauce and took it back to the pass where she asked the cook for the sauce and put a quirt of it on there.

I waited a few months to give them time to tune up the menu & service. They have! Excellent Bacon-centric food (I had the reverse BLT) and alcohol ( my husband had the Oh Hail Mary! Wow, Wow, Wow! The Service was stellar, as well. Hubby suggests a side plate for those who get the drink to park all the goodies on while imbibing. He also suggests a longer straw. Highly recommend & strongly encourage making reservations through Open Table.

The food and service were great. We made a reservation but it wasn't needed. We were seated quickly and served quickly. There appeared to be one lady working has hostess and waitress, she was fantastic. I got the Peanut butter banana French toast box, and my husband got the bacon wrapped burrito.

We eat breakfast and the food was delicious. I would recommend the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs scrambled or the steak and eggs “Meat it up” combo. The options have been reduced since our last trip in January and that was disappointing. I do not recommend any of their dinners entrees stick with breakfast!!

Menu has been reduced, limited options before now very limited. We eat dinner and had shrimp scampi and a salad. The scampi sat on the server window for 15 minutes while the server was waiting for the salad. Server was great but a disconnect with food prep. Shrimp was tough and pasta(spaghetti noodles) was chewy. The sauce was garlic butter with lemon reduction and it tasted like lemon pledge. Again server was great but manager on duty needed to be watching her cook and prep staff and needed to talk with the guests. Won’t eat dinner there again.

I went on 06/12/23 @ 1015 am. The food was great! Our waitress deserves a huge raise and bonus! She was amazing! The great service will make me come back again when I'm I return to Vegas! Please give her a raise and bonus...she'll keep customers coming back again and again! Oh...the bacon flavors were good! I tried 4 different kinds...yummm

I really wish this place would get their service sorted out. Not enough servers is not the issue, it's the set up. We try and try again because we stay at the D. Maybe go to an order and sit approach like victory burger. It's been almost year, should have it by now

We were really excited to try this restaurant and made reservations. I told the hostess we had reservations at 7:00 for 5 people, she said oh, didn't look at any list and disappeared, about 5 minutes a man came out grabbed menus and said follow him. He sat us at a table for 7 people, I told him the reservation was at 7:00 for 5 people he barely acknowledged me and continued to lay down 7 menus. At this point we had still had not been greeted, we did not feel welcome. The restaurant had a very hospital cafe feel to it. The waitress was completely uninterested in our presence, quietly took our order, didn't know the answers to my questions and did nothing to find out the answers we were just expected to move on. I also asked about the "Bacon Nation Sauce for $1.50" What was it? How does it taste? She just said she didn't know. No customer service existed. If a restaurant is going to taut a sauce named after the restaurant, charge $1.50 for a small condiment sized cup, the staff should know exactly what it is and if they don't know what it tastes like (even tho they should) maybe offer a sample before the customer opts to purchase a mystery sauce for $1.50. We purchased 2 bacon appetizer samplers ($17) each. Seemed like the best way to experience Bacon Nation. We chose 6 flavors, three pieces of bacon on each platter. The waitress put the platters on the table and began to walk away. I asked her if she could tell us which flavor is on each of the bacon strips, she named a few and said she didn't know the rest. I had to ask for side plates so we could each try some. Our meals were terrible as well, the chicken was cold, hard and too crispy to chew, the Caesar Salad was drenched in dressing, drowning the salad, the reverse BLT was so salty it couldn't be eaten. The egg sandwiches were good. This meal was ridiculously expensive and we ended up going thru a drive thru later because we were all hungry, it was a lot better and about 1/3 the price. Don't Go

Steak (medium well) and eggs ordered… steak was RARE. Sent it back… by the time it was re-delivered both my wife and I had finished our breakfasts and were ready for the check. The steak was still undercooked and was not eaten. The serve took it off the bill and blamed the issue of the “new” cook who just doesn’t want to work she said.

They messed up one of our orders not just once but twice. Completely wrong ingredients from what he ordered and what the server put into the system. When the server took it back the first time the cook literally just turned it over and rewarmed it on the other side. Server brought it back out and was surprised that it was still wrong. We walked out at that point. We will never go back.

We went me and my boyfriend late night the food was delicious we got three different flavors of bacon and I got the lemon blueberry pancakes and he got the burrito with all the meat in it was the most best burrito he said he ever had in his life the server Elizabeth was above and beyond highly recommend and is open 24 hours which is a plus

I saw this on a search for something different for breakfast, the listing hyped it more than it actually is. Also, should mention that it's in the D, not noted anywhere explicitly. The cost for breakfast for 4 was over $110, which for eggs and a couple of pieces of bacon is absolutely outrageous. The quality was just about Denny's. Not something I would have expected from the D actually. Needless to say other than our server, who was great, we will not be back.

1230 reservation and they forgot about me after I already checked in with them. Also after being sat down took about 7 min for anyone to acknowledge us. If you like soggy bacon, covered in choc syrup not real chocolate then go for it. The bacon was disgustingly chewy. The chocolate sauce was embarrassing. Don't look at the online menu, it's a lie they don't carry half the online items at the real restaurant. This place was the biggest disappointment. Our server was a grumpy girl! Don't waste your money.

This place NEVER disappoints. We are locals who live a block away from Fremont Street and this is our GO TO every time we do brunch. Service staff is always amazing and the food is TOP NOTCH. Don’t sleep on this place, it’s BOMB. Love love love.
