   A nice place, but noisy. I was disappointed with how dry the ribs were smoked; heavy, chewy bark, meat flavorful but dry.

   Busy loud - perhaps it was where we were seated(near door) Food served rapid fire style. Often had to ask for water refills. Not sure worth the drive

    Celebrated my husband’s birthday here and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Every entree was delicious, the service attentive, and because it was mid-week it was extremely busy, so the noise level was not an issue. We can’t wait to return!

    Even though there was a local power outage, Backwoods came through with good food, good service & made us feel welcome. Got to visit with some friends I haven’t seen I a while. Thank you to our great waitress Annie!

    Second time we’ve been here. Love it the menu is a little limited BUT I feel that’s why everything is so good. Going back again soon. Long Island ice teas are the best!!!!

    The four of us enjoyed our meals. I had a blackberry mojito, really tasty. I had steamed clams in a wine sauce wine. Next time I'll get a double order with some of their delicious crostini bread to soak up the sauce. So yummy! My husband had a burger and fries which he enjoyed also. Portions were not lacking either. Our server was very personable. Loved the fact that they have booths (my personal fav), regular tables, high tables and a large bar. I would def reccomend Backwoods and will def go back again.

    I really wanted to like this, we went before and loved it, and I chose this for my birthday dinner, but the night was lackluster. First my seat was right by a door, literally right next to it, so constant traffic around my back, but hey, someone has to sit there. I ordered steamers and fried chicken, my wife ordered fish and chips and then last the last minute deviled eggs. Plus some cocktails and wine for the wife. First the good, my wife loved her wine and the fish and chips was awesome. Two huge pieces of fish and great fries. The deviled eggs were the star of the night. Also I liked my first drink. The steamers came with no butter or bread for the broth, and they were VERY sandy. My fried chicken was ok, the bacon maple sauce was great, but the chicken was three pieces of boneless breast. I prefer dark meat ort at least bone in, but I put this on me as ordering the wrong thing. It wasn't bad, just not what I liked. And the mashed potatoes were dry, needed some more butter or something. My second drink was a watermelon margarita, very watery on top and sickening sweet on bottom, must have never been stirred or shaken at all. The woman playing guitar ands singing was great! All in all I was disappointed....

    Usually love or hear, the last two visits, not at all. Service was crazy slow. Took about a half hour to get the first drink. Food took an hour 15 minutes to get, and was just ok this time. The band was SO loud that you couldn’t talk to the person next to you, the waitress even struggled to hear you to take you left order. They even said it was insanely loud. We moved to three different tables to try to get away from it. Again, always loved it hear, but as time goes on and they got busier, everything has dropped down a bit. Honestly, probably won’t go back anytime soon.

    Disappointed in the meatloaf. Dry with hard inedible skin, not much, if any, flavor. Fish (fish and chips) fresh and very tasty although price was a little high. Cold slaw not up to standard. Should have been sweeter and more finely chopped. Would unlikely recommend to a friend

    We had reservations and specifically mentioned it was for a birthday. We were seated quickly but waited 15 minutes before anyone asked us for a drink order. We also ordered an appetizer at the time drinks were ordered. Our appetizer came out before we received our drinks. The steamed clams were overly salty. Fries tasted like they were a day old and chewy. Brisket cheesesteak barely had cheese. Our server was nice but nonexistent and not attentive. Our main dishes were just okay and nothing great. I would not recommend to anyone. The ambiance is nice but nothing to draw in people for a subpar experience. Price was way higher than it should have been for what we received and the poor service.

    A rustic but modern mix restaurant with a bar, booths, high tops, and outdoor picnic table dining on the deck. Great view of the golf course. Our meals were promptly served and our server took great care of us. She was fantastic-friendly, checked in with us just the right amount of times, and took time to make conversation with us. My son loved her! He even signed his placemat coloring sheet and gave it to her. Lol. He also said the fries were his favorite ever and this child has had a lot of fries! The kids menu was a definite plus. Very down to earth atmosphere with nicely presented and prepared apps and meals. Very nice staff. We had an enjoyable time and will be back. Just a heads up-the kitchen closes from 3:30 to 4 to switch over from brunch to dinner but you can still enjoy a drink and look over the menu. Enjoy!

    I had a ahi tuna stir fry which was very good. The menu is limited and not much healthy food items. Food items were pricey for a casual bar atmosphere.
