Backstage Pub is under new ownership since August 2012. It is a neighborhood tavern with a catchphrase of "Enter As Strangers; Leave As Friends". And that is exactly how everybody feels when stopping in. We offer 14 different draft beers, focusing on local craft selections, and a full menu until midnight every day. Come find out why cast and crew members from all of the Proctors shows choose the Backstage Pub as a place they spend their down time at. We are family friendly, with dart boards upstairs. Also available is a 66 person private banquet room for all of your events.

Please note there are 2 parking lots right next to our building. Although we do not own the rights to either, our customers are allowed to park there. During Proctors shows, the owners of these lots do charge $5-10. There is also street parking available.

Was going to a show at Proctors. We were a bit late and that wasn't an issue. Food was good. Drinks were good. Short walk to Proctors. I would do this place again for sure. Try the fried pickles!

Quick easy dining option preshow. Very convenient as it is directly behind Proctors. Waitress was honest about wait time and encouraged us to get our orders in as they were booked to the max capacity. Service was efficient. Solid pub fare.. no complaints. Only down side was the upstairs dining room was a little chilly.

Made reservations on-line because we had tickets to Wicked, however, the reservations were not available to staff. They were extremely apologetic, stated that they were having difficulties with the on-line reservation system and seated us at a nice table in the bar area. Service was a tad slow, but completely understandable because they were swamped prior to the show. Very professional and courteous. My wife's fish and chips were slightly greasy, my "Rachel" (Reuben sandwich with coleslaw instead of sauerkraut) was awesome and the sweet potato fries were even better. Overall I would, and have, highly recommended the Backstage to friends. As an added bonus and as their name implies, just cross the street and walk down a short sidewalk to the back entrance to Proctors. (Parking next to the restaurant is only $10.00)

Had dinner before a show at Proctors. Bar was noisier than we wanted so we ate upstairs. Not much atmosphere up there but much quieter. A little chilly, though. Food was good and portions were good sized. Prices were good. I would go back again.

I can't answer the above questions well because despite using Open Table to make a reservation, when we arrived we were told they couldn't take any additional reservations for the evening. I showed them the confirmation I received and was told I made the reservation too late for them to accommodate us. I was very disapointed - they shouldn't use this service if they can't fulfill requests in real time. We scrambled to find somewhere quick and close by to eat at before the show started.

Food quality was great. They seemed to be short staffed for a show night at Proctors. A burger and fries and a turkey sandwich with fries took almost 45 minutes from order to table. Which seemed really slow as it wasn't that busy.
