    Service was very bad. We waited for 20 min for someone to even come over and greet us then we waited another 25 minutes for the drinks to be delivered to the table. The manager was terrible and extremely rude. She was so unprofessional and the server was as well. The food was decent but not worth the terrible service and rude staff.

    This was the first time we went to this restaurant. Noise was so loud we had to literally shout to hear each other or waitress. Appetizer and food came out at the same time. Food itself was very generic. Disappointed and will never be back.

    THE GOOD: food was very tasty… loved the fries in duck fat! Server/ bar staff friendly, Ambiance was lovely. Needed improvement: Service and attentiveness really lacking. Slow and forgotten!!! It was extremely hot in bar area and I’m usually on the cold side. Worth trying again: ABSOLUTELY 👍! Thanks so much for taking the time and care for feedback returning customers 🤗!

    Really hoping this place pulls it together, because it's a lovely location and they do make great fries. Servers could not keep up with tables and the food was truly bad. A restaurant's food prices need to match the quality of food they serve and it was not pleasant to spend a lot of money on such a low quality meal. While the decor is very nice, the lack of fabrics, rugs, carpets or sound tiles make the noise level loud and odd. We couldn't hear each other, but we could really hear a louder patron on the opposite side of the room. All in all extremely disappointing, but hoping management will make necessary changes to improve.

    Terribly disappointed. We were told there would not be a buffet and it would be the regular menu for mothers day. Well we arrived and it was a special menu and a buffet as another option. We opted for the buffet. Everything was cold. We asked if there was any way we could experience warm food from the buffet and we were completely ignored. We didn't argue because we didn't want to ruin mother's day but we left hungry and very disappointed. Cold eggs are pretty gross.

    Beautiful location with outside tables overlooking golf course. Good, attentive service. Salad course was tasty, but entrees disappointing. Steak frite so-so. Redfish possibly under-cooked with seasoning lumped in middle. First time visiting since it changed from Robards steak house. May try again when we're in Woodlands cuz we love the setting. Hopefully just off night in kitchen.

    This was our first visit to the Back Table and I have to say, it will be our last. Service was very very slow. We were sat right away, but we waited for over 15 minutes before we went to look for someone to take our drink order. The portions are huge, so much so that a "hand held" chicken sandwich had to be managed with a knife/fork. There was so much extra sauce the other ingredients were lost. I finally gave up and sent it away. The same with the shrimp po-boy . Out of the 4 meals ordered, 2 sent back uneaten. Hamburger was OK. Beer battered fish was a little better. Not worth the money.

    My reservation at Back Table Kitchen & Bar was very nice. Myself and 3 other ladies enjoyed our lunch. The food was delicious. The restaurant was not crowded, but the piped in music is a little loud. It would help to lower it. There is a beautiful view of the Golf Course and outdoor seating, but unfortunately is was raining the day we were there. I plan on going back & I would recommend it to a friend.

    Tucked away, deep inside the grounds of The Woodlands Resort is this lovely chill restaurant and bar that used to be a my favorite high m-end steakhouse in town. If I’m honest, I’m sad that we lost Robards, which was stunning, gorgeous, very upscale, and seriously made the very best ribeye in The Woodlands. But I digress… This new identity is not as “special.” It’s tastefully relaxed marrying industrial concrete floors and steel beams with exposed brick walls and plenty of stone in the well-designed outdoor area. No need for a dinner jacket or high heels here, which may the the point? The food was good, but some menu descriptions were misleading, which was a miss. For example, we ordered the Yucatán Shrimp Cocktail and fully expected fresh and zippy, with big shrimp. What we got were small-medium sized shrimp drowning in a sauce that was more sweet than smoky. It definitely lacked the acid I was hoping for. The deviled eggs were fantastic! And while the pimiento cheese was delicious, the accompanying ham was way too salty. Only one in our group of six could eat it. Entrees fared better… the burgers were generous, the ribeye was enjoyed, and the beer chicken was juicy. The shrimp poboy was described as average. And another menu miss: The Signature Chocolate Cake… it’s not actually a chocolate cake! It’s more like a mousse made with chocolate and coconut, and the person who ordered it detests coconut (it was not mentioned in the description of the chocolate cake.) Service was excellent. At first were surprised that the restaurant wasn’t more crowded on a Saturday night, but after the meal, it made sense. With so many options in The Woodlands, the misses were enough to question a return visit, which is too bad, because the location and views are outstanding.

    First time experience. Last time experience. We expected an higher energy staff for New Year's eve. The band was Great. The Ice Cream table couldn't have been better. the girl who made the ice cream was energetic, happy and was fun to talk with.. We sat at the bar for our meal and drinks. Oysters: half of them where still attached to the shell. Cat fish: Thin & over cooked with hard crust, tarter sauce had no serving spoon. Our finished dinner plates sat on the bar next to us almost the entire time we were there. The topper was the automatic $38.16 Gratuity on a buffet style dinner. Also my card show's two charges. One for $252.50 and another for $267.66.

    We have had nothing but terrific meals and cocktails at Back Table. This time was no exception. We enjoyed a beverage by the fire pit for a beautiful, chilly sunset before heading inside. Liam is creating some fantastic cocktails and delivering top notch service and knowledge. Chef Jonathan continues to put together great menus with some unique and thoughtful twists. We were fortunate enough to be there for the first evening of the updated menu and loved every bite. I’ve read a couple of notes on the prices and have to disagree. There are many places in and around The Woodlands serving smaller portions of overrated food in much less friendly and pleasant surroundings.

    Food was amazing, highly recommend the deviled eggs and the sea bass! Service was incredible even though they were packed. Ambience was classy without feeling pretentious. My daughter (2) loved walking along the lake after dinner. Staff was kind and accommodating. We will definitely return!

    My wife an I came for date night dinner drinks and music. They didn't disappoint. The live music was wonderful and very professional. So good with thought the radio was just turned up at first. LOL. Food was unique and interesting take on normal comfort foods. Highly recommend you seek them out, they are hidden in woods but worth the find. Our server was kind, and helpful with selections. Hosts were also very bubbly and happy. Made for a great night. Take advantage of the less busy season Dec-Jan.

    Booked for Thanksgiving dinner as we were told they would have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner meal. We arrived, sat down and given the REGULAR DINNER MENU. Extremely disappointed!! We were fortunate to sit for a few minutes making calls for another Thanksgiving dinner meal and luckily found a much better option which actually served THANKSGIVING DINNER!

    An enjoyable place for families, couples and business folk alike. My kids loved their milkshakes and playing foosball after. The fire pit area is gorgeous and comfortable. The food is quality and everything has a bit of a twist.

    This was our anniversary dinner. Appetizers were very small. We had 5 different wait staff come to the table for different reasons. When we finally asked who is our waitress they explained they are just helping each other out. Our drinks sat at the bar for awhile. When my husband finally got tired of waiting because people around us were getting their drinks he went to the bar but wouldn’t give him our drinks. They said the would get to it. This is one of the worst restaurants we’ve ever been to.

    Started out with Happy Hour. The bartender not very attentive. Had to call him over several times because he was to busy visiting with other customers and not paying attention to the others. He had the comment he was helping another customer when I had to call him over. I clearly could hear him just having a conversation and not paying attention.

    A great place for a dining with a view since it is inside the resort. Service is great and also the food. The only downside is the outdoor dining, lots of flies since it was beside the lake. Wish they have something for that. But overall, I love this place.
