My friend and I ate dinner here on a Friday night. Surprisingly, it was not too busy. I'm guessing it was due to the Warriors game. They did have three large screen TVs right above the bar for those who wanted to catch the game. Our waitress was very nice but somewhat slow at getting our drinks. We both ordered their signature strawberry lemon drops. She stated that she wanted to make them "perfect". I didn't realize that the waitstaff had to make the drinks themselves. As my friend and I were not in a hurry, this did not bother us much but I can see that it would have irritated others. I do like my strawberry lemon drops a little sweeter than it was prepared however.We were ordering light tonight. I ordered a cup of the tomato basil soup and a tuna tartare. My friend had the Blue cheese wedge salad and the two meatballs entrée. The tuna tartare starter plate was very well made, lots of cubed tuna and avocado just the way I like it. I am a light eater so the combination of creamy tomato soup ( can tell made with lots of butter and cream but isn't that why it's so good? )and tuna tartare was enough. My friend did enjoy her salad and meatballs but this is her go-to meal as she has been here several times before. There were lots of other things on menu including pasta dishes, meat, fish, and burgers. Would definitely return to try the rest of the menu.

Where do I begin? Arrived at 7:15 pm and didn't get seated until 7:30 although there were plenty of tables but they were obviously short staffed. Wife ordered a $10 pomegranate martini. Pomegrante juice was obviously old since her drink was dark brown rather than deep red. Food came. I returned my chicken. It tasted spoiled. My wife had 16.50 or 17.50 Cobb salad. Menu says bacon - there was no bacon on it. There was one egg and three cherry tomatoes sliced in half with minimal crumbles of blue cheese. Whole salad mainly consisted of ice berg lettuce. Tried to get more salad dressing and waitress never bothered to check back with us. Manager was busy talking to a customer for the duration of our meal. My wife never cared for this place much but now I am done too. We won't be back. Service sucks and food was awful.

It was an awful experience and I emailed the owner the next day and still have not heard back. It was my mother's 80th birthday and six of us went there for dinner on a weeknight. The server, Joanne, couldn't have been any more disinterested in us. She kept sitting with the woman at the next table, talking about her life prior to now, and about her future plans. The food was cold, she forgot an entree salad (for my mom!) There was no apology for forgetting to punch it in, and we didnt ever see her again until after the meal. I had to walk over to the kitchen to get parmesan cheese, and beg for water from another server. To add insult to injury, she added 20% gratuity to the check, because we had six people (two were children) Appalling, and no manager in sight the entire evening. Would NEVER go back, and its a shame because we've always thought the food and service was good before.

I've order take out from them and it's always been great, so this time I decided to dine-in. The food was tasty and the cocktail I ordered was good too. It was very noisy though! Hard to have a conversation. Also, I witnessed one of the hosts get very agitated at two women who sat themselves down without "checking in" (they didn't see anyone up front). The place wasn't crowded as it was early for dinner, and one of them was using a walker so she couldn't move fast. He rudely told them they had to get up because that was a reserved table and they had to go back up front and wait. It wasn't easy for her to get around, and he didn't seem to care. He eventually sat them at a two top table but still. No compassion. Won't be going back because of the noise level and this behavior too. I will order for delivery as the food is good.

Just an excellent Italian restaurant with great basic dishes such as spaghetti and meatballs, lasagne and other nice entres such as prawns -raisitto. Great warm bread and good wine selection also! Steve
