The Ravioli with Ricotta & Spinach was amazing!
I am always amazed and impressed with my dining experience at Baci & Abbracci. We had the buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes, fried calamari, gnocchi, and pappardelle lamb ragout. Also the nutella pizza and tiramisu for dessert. All were amazing!!! Loved the food, the backyard patio and the service. Definitely coming again, and again, and again!
I used to go to this place alot a few years ago. I thought the food was quite good, but this night was not. the salad greens were bruised and our food was dry and overcooked
Had a delightful meal in the beautiful, spacious outdoor terrace, which is one of the best outdoor dining spots in Williamsburg. Background music was unusual, edgy, yet calming and perfect for conversation. The ambiance is "European" contemporary, light but intimate, with all new glass, stone, stainless steel. Service was helpful, attentive and more formal (in a good way) than typically found in Williamsburg. Food was well-prepared, tasty and elegantly presented. For the price, the quality of cooking and the ambiance make it a great dining spot in Williamsburg. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely return. Would be great for an intimate dinner as well as a large group.
It's a shame that this beautiful restaurant serves mediocre food. The biggest disappointment was the "homemade" farfalle, obviously directly from a Barilla box. I would not have ordered it if hadn't said homemade. Wednesday is half-off bottle of wine, which is great, if not a desperate attempt to reel in customers. With their food, however, it might not even work.
lovely restaurant, friendly staff and good food.
The food was good; not really outstanding but reliably good, I think. Pasta was well cooked and sauced; salads ample and fresh. Desserts were varied and freshly made.
Fabulous grilled seafood and tuna/avocado appetizers. WE chose this place and 7:30 dinner since diners wrote that it is not kid friendly. There were several toddlers and kids of all ages in the outdoor garden. Could have done without these lovely flowers on our moms night out! Service is attentive and our waitress really knew the wine list. Casual, delish and great service.
Great food..great service..will definitely return!
Excellent unique authentic Italian food at reasonable prices.
The food we great but not a kid friendly restaurant. I would go back jus without my child next time.
A great Easter celebration, will be back!
Amazing food, delicious drinks and fabulous service!!! I love, love, love this place!!!
Food is always good here. Appetizer list is really poor (too many salads and not enough savory options). My friend asked for extra marinara sauce, and they charged us $2 for a small cup of it. A soda was $2.50, and it was a small glass 3/4 full of ice. Didn't feel like we got a good value at all even though the food tasted very good. Very nice people work here. Your reservation time doesn't mean anything here at busy times.
We loved the warm fresh bread that is homemade daily. Excellent salads and pizza
This is my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn- amazing food- you have to try the beet gnocchi - so delicious!!!!!!!!
We were very much looking forward to the homemade fresh pasta, and Baci didn't disappoint! our meals were cooked perfectly, and we could not stop talking about the fresh pasta- I had the shrimp, asparagus, tomato pasta, and I was blown away. One of our companions had the spinach pizza and all 4 of us thought the pizza dough was some of the best we ever had. It is definitely somewhere we will want to go back to very soon! And save room for dessert also because the tiramisu and cheesecake are to die for!
Was there for Dine-in-Brooklyn and the three courses were fine but not nearly excellent. The first course (mozerella and tomato salad) was freezing cold and the tomatoes were stone hard. The main course (tomatoes, fish and green beens) was very good, by far the best thing on the evening. The Tiramisu I had for dessert was made with whipped cream and way to much of it. It had no alcoholic hint and didn't really resemble a tiramisu in my opinion.
I had been looking very much forward to the dinner as I had read a lot of good stuff about the restaurant, but I guess the quality of the Dine-in week's food was maybe much lower than usually. Anyway, even though the staff and place was nice and the main course very good, I won't be coming back.
Too crowded, waited way too long for a table despite having a reservation, rude and uncaring waiter. They tried to charge me $2 for extra marinara...give me a break
Overall it was a good experience, but the tables are a little bit clustered together, so I felt like I was intruding on others' meal, and visa versa.
True authentic Italian food and drink menu. It was a very busy Saturday night and our food was brought out relatively quickly. Service was good and atmosphere was fun. I hear they have outdoor seating when the weather is nice as well.
This restaurant is quite a good find in Brooklyn. Prices are reasonable, food is terrific, and the help extremely friendly and useful. Definitely will return here.
oh those Violetta di Parma....!!!
I went here for my birthday dinner. From the moment the waitress came over it was clear she was having a bad night and unfortunately it affected her ability to do her job with any cheer whatsoever. She was sloppy and somewhat rude. She sloshed beer all over my place setting, dropped ice out of a pitcher onto my sisters lap and rolled her eyes at a question my friend asked, it just wasn't pleasant.
The food was tasty however it was clear that there was a delay getting my pasta to the table because it was already congealed by time it got to me. The other dishes seemed to be fine, no one else complained.
I wouldn't trek outside of Manhattan for this place again. However on another night I'm sure this is a fine neighborhood spot.
Had to wait about 30 minutes despite having a res. Place is small, but not in a cozy way. Prices for apps bit high. Food is wholesome but not memorable.
I have dined numerous times at Baci Abbracci .. Til this day I truly have had a wonderful experience there .. As soon as you are seated, the waiter introduces their mouth watering homemade bread.. There brick oven pizza is a must eat at the restaurant .. As to drinks my two favorite are strawberry mojitos & regular mojitos ..
one of the best dining experiences in williamsburg. i've been here countless times and have never been disappointed by food or service. love the grilled seafood salad, and the papardelle with lamb ragu. also, beetroot gnocchi w/ goat cheese sauce is crucial!
We had their new years eve prix fixe menu which was excellent. Just about everything on the menu was classic without too many twists but everything was extremely well prepared. If I had one complaintit would be that the portion sizes were a bit large for a 4 course meal. Also, it is important for the portions of each option within a given course be roughly the same (or you end up with some hungry and some stuffed diners) which was not the case. I would definitely come back and try the pizzas (which were not on the prix fixe menu).
What a great find! The food was absolutely perfect (and inexpensive!)--and the staff was very friendly. Best Christmas Eve ever--and we'll be back.
The pan-seared Salmon was outstanding. The Chocolate Mousse was average and was pleasantly surprise by the "glass" Malbec.
This is a great restaurant, read about it in New York Magazine and had to try it. The food is outstanding. Our server was exceptional - I can't remember his name, but he is from Puebla, Mexico - he gave us the best service ever. I cannot believe we waited this long to try it. The gnocci, which are usually quite heavy, were light as feathers. This place is my new favorite!
Our large party was easily accommodated. We loved the ambiance of Baci & Abracci, the service was fantastic, and everything we tried delicious. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends.
After reading the menu, I was very excited to eat here. In fact, I rarely put my foot down about where I want to go, but I didn't want to go anywhere else that night. Cocktail was great and inspired me to infuse rum with rosemary. But the food just seemed a bit lackluster. Pappardelle was a bit more than al dente and the spaghetti was less than it should have been. We were 1 of 3 tables. Service was attentive, until we had to ask for the bill 3 times. By no means am I saying it was bad. It was decent and not expensive which is appreciated. But in a city with tons of Italian restaurants, I don't feel a need to come back.
We had a great time with a group of 10. I was surprised how easy it was to get a table for 10 on Saturday night with relatively short advance. Although slightly discouraged by the $20 corkage, I was allowed to bring some bottles of my own wine, and ordered several excellent bottles from their list as well. I did not notice whether they actually added the corkage. Our table was ready when the first people arrived, and the food and service were excellent throughout. The total bill with tax was under $800 (not counting tip) for 10 people, many of whom had pizza, including about $300 of house wine. I considered this less than expected for the experience. Our happy guests included three New Yorkers, two Italians and a Frenchwoman.
Breat Brunch and reasonable price
Wonderful food in modest surroundings! Wait staff informed and helped with wine selection.
We were the first party to be seated on the patio. Soon after we sat down another party was seated right next to us even though there were many other tables on the patio that were not as close. The neighboring party was extremely noisy and disrespectful of the fact that another party was seated at an adjoining table. We would have enjoyed outselves much more if the other party had been seated somewhere else or if the other party had been courteous.
We loved this place. We went on a Friday night and got to enjoy the back patio. The food was outstanding. I had the salmon and it was superb. They also have excellent homemade bread. The overall atmosphere is very down to earth and the waiters were very accommodating. We will definitely be back.
We had (as we often do) a wonderful time. The food was great. The staff was great with our large group and even cut and served a birthday cake we brought ourselves. We always love Baci Abbracci!
Great Salads, Good Pizza,. Went for a casual dinner. And Baci Abbracci fit the bill. We dined on the outdoor patio, it was very enjoyable. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly and the food was good.
