   On what must be one of the busiest days of the year (Valentine’s Day) the staff were not only efficient but genial hosts/hostesses. Our dinners were perfectly prepared and delicious. Thank you!

   Food was amazing. Only reason it didn't get a 5 was the limited wine selection for a single glass.

   Our experience at Bacchus restaurant was an interesting one. When we arrived, we immediately felt that the "vibe" was not for us, mainly because of the unfortunate minty blue/green wall colour and the very high light level. We were ready to leave but I asked our server to give me a candid answer as to whether the food was good, he assured me it was. We stayed. I ordered the lemon/garlic salmon and my partner ordered the fried calamari and the stuffed zucchini on risotto. My salmon was overcooked and the overall dish was flavourless. Both our meals also were served on cold plates. Josh, our server, came over and asked about our food and I told him that I was disappointed in the overcooked salmon and normally would have returned my meal but I was tired and hungry and had decided to just put up with it and go home. He apologized and left, but then came back and asked me if I would accept a new plate. I accepted and this was the right decision. The second salmon was tender, very flavourful, as were the accompanying green beans. My partner's meal was OK, not excellent in any way. Overall, our experience at Bacchus ended up being a positive one, mainly because of Josh's excellent service and the chef's determination to produce a good salmon. Would we go back? I would for this really very good salmon, but the atmosphere truly is subpar and serving on cold plates such an easy issue to fix.

   Hi there, thank you for your honest review. A couple things we would like to address, the wall colour was carefully chosen and we have received amazing feedback since repainting this past summer. We are staying clear from the “fine dining” vibe the previous owner was headed towards. The salmon was cooked with no dairy/butter as per your dietary restrictions. Not until you stated we could cook the salmon with butter did we make a new dish. Warm plates would require a whole new plating station that will not fit in our kitchen. Our stuffed Magda zucchini is a vegan favourite on our menu. We apologize for not being up to your standards but take pride in our restaurant. We hope to serve you again, “zen” coloured walls and all :)

   The meal and service staff was excellent. Good food and great value. The beef shank was delicious as was the chicken parm. Quaint place on Erie St, Windsor. Bring a sweater on below zero days but otherwise great.

    We had an amazing dining experience here. From the apps to the dessert, dinner and drinks, all of it was delicious and fabulous 👌 Brooke, our server was friendly, helpful and very quick and efficient. Her personality was awesome!!! The food was really good and so much variety to choose from. The food was very well presented, great portion sizes, always brought to the table hot and we'll priced. The drinks list was also full of variety. Overall, we enjoyed it very much and will definitely be back again
