Food was definitely not what we expected for price. It was mediocre at best. The service was amazing and so was the ambiance. But we won’t eat there again. We would go for just drinks.

Probably wouldn’t come back. Had high expectations given the option to dine at a chefs table. Some of the food was unique and quite good. But my daughter’s filet looked and tasted like something I’d expect to get at Applebees and the desserts were disgusting. The banana bread skillet tasted like uncooked flour. The olive oil cake was drier than the Turkey at Clark Griswald’s house. They have 30 whiskey’s to choose from, but don’t ask for a list or an explanation of what they have because they really don’t know. All in all I should have done more research before going. Had I known it was just the restaurant inside a Marriott property, I would have passed. A few stand outs, but overall just over priced and there are far superior restaurant in the area at similar price points.

Nice restaurant that sits in the middle of the The Vin Hotel in Grapevine. Bar area is lively but somewhat cramped. Odd sitting arrangement that is divided in two by the bar area in the middle with Dining areas on both sides. Dining area is loud but manageable. Food was outstanding. Many compliments on steak, seafood and pasta dishes. Would probably try again but would not want to be seated close to the bar area.

Food was good but not out of this world. Over priced for what it was. There was a band playing in the lobby and it was extremely loud so we felt like we were yelling at each other. Service was just ok. Tried to be patient, server was very nice just not easily found. Took almost 20 minutes to take drink order.

Phone call and text message to confirm. Honored our need for a sequestered table. Good explanation of the menu. Delivery time of beverages and food was timely. Separate checks were done appropriately. Exit simple for parking and valet.

Might have been because it’s so close to the new year but I waited almost 30 minutes to get seated even though I’d made a reservation. It took another 15 minutes before someone got my drink order. Overall, it took a long time to get any food or drink. I could t really enjoy the food because of the long wait. I might try it again at a less busy time.

Bacchus is a very nice, hip, classy restaurant inside the Hotel Vin in Grapevine, TX. We had Christmas Sunday brunch and the selection was wonderful. We ordered one Traditional and one Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, as well as the French Toast. All were delicious! 5 out of 5 stars for food, service, and the restaurant ambiance. Coffee was ok, couldv'e been stronger. They also have pods for outside eating during the winter. We didn't do it but it looks VERY cool.

This was a special night, Christmas Eve, and we anticipated a great meal based on the location and cost. The pumpkin seeds in the soup were burnt. The main course was not edible. Meat over cooked to the point you could not even cut it. Vegetables were also terrible. None of us ate that course but brought it home hoping the dogs might like it.

Wonderful meal and service in the wine barrel room. Hunter was our server and gave exceptional care to our party. He went to special efforts accommodating a food allergy one of our guests had. Thank you all for a great celebration night.

Great vibe, good food but the service was terrible. I have a peeve that when I order and specify wine with my main course I expect the wine to serve before my meal arrives. For this meal we asked three times for our wine and yet the excuses mounted by our waiter and we didn’t get our wine until we were done with dinner. On top of this, of 4 glasses of the exact same wine, two glasses were well over 10 ounces and two were about 6 ounces. Isn’t this a bartender’s main job? Pour the drinks equal and the amount we paid for? We would go back, but I won’t excuse this service failure again.

When I booked the restaurant, I did not see anything about it being in a hotel on any of the sites I viewed. I was a bit confused when my GPS took me to the hotel. However, the Hotel Vin is beautiful, and was a nice surprise. I liked the fact that they also had valet parking at the hotel since the parking garage next door was full. I enjoyed seeing The Hall, that is also connected with the hotel, along with the outside ice skating rink. The staff at the restaurant were kind and efficient, and we were seated at a nice table. It is a beautiful place with great energy and wonderful food. Our waiter looked like Justin Timberlake and he did such an amazing job. We had a very enjoyable evening, and I would definitely recommend this place.

The hostess was off putting. When we arrived to check in for our reservation, she didn’t say a word. She simply looked up and expected me to state my name. There was no greeting. When she showed us to our table, she motioned with her hands and placed our menus at the table and walked away. It was a terrible experience. Thankfully the service staff was excellent and the food was impeccable. It was very redeeming!
