Best pork belly in LA! Lots of fun tapas and everything was delicious. The wine list is not great for wine snobs but there’s lots of options; they’re known for their sangria.
Service was excellent. The only draw back was the NOISE. It was unbearably loud. I felt like I was shouting the entire night. Definitely not the cute second date atmosphere I was hoping for. Lots of students and a young hip crowd but I would not recommend for a Friday night.
Great Sangria!!! The food was very good and slightly different from the norm. Great value and food to share (tapas style). The cauliflower, kale salad, and lamb/eggplant were worth repeating.
Went in for Dine LA and their menu options were pretty good. The stuffed mushrooms and bacaro burger were very delicious! Also had some of the bacaro fries with the added bacon and that was very yummy! The place was quite loud but that's what makes this place fun! Food was delicious and the open bar that came with the Dine LA menu was amazing! Def will be returning! Make sure to make reservations if you plan on going since it is a very small place!
Everything was great except for the service. The waiter needed to be courteous, welcoming, and energetic. He was the opposite of all those features. Also, i would recommend adding at least 1 vegan dessert to the menu since there are vegan appetizers, sides, and main courses.
Assistant manager Ron was very accommodating. I had a meeting with two new clients, and it went very well.
Unfortunately, we needed to use our laptops to transfer some files, but the staff didn't comment on it once. Apologies! (I tipped extra because of this haha)
The food was amazing. I ordered a 2nd serving of the brussel sprouts to go!
Definitely recommend this little place, the red sangria is my favorite along with there cheese plate, there menu is seasonal so I suggest anything on the menu.

Great small plates hide-a-way near USC campus. Cozy interior, energetic noise, somewhat uncomfortable backless cushion seats for the older crowd. VERY CREATIVE small plates menu - 2 plates a person more than enough! Three of us sampled brioche french toast; crabcake Benedict with a grapefruit hollandaise and sous-vide egg; goat cheese polenta with lamb ragu, chipotle pepper sauce and fried egg; shakshouka in an outstanding tomato based sauce , sous-vide egg and a toasted baguette to ladel it over; gravlax salmon pizza with avocado, picked red onion ( least favorite - the gravlax flavor was lost in a strong pickled onion and a tasty strong guacamole rather than avocado slices ). There were so many other choices that are awaiting my next visit. 5 dollar mimosa/bloody mary/sangria/bellini/screwdriver or 20 dollar bottomless over 90 minutes. Worth the drive to USC, on Sunday plenty of street parking. Winner!
Very fun Sunday brunch. Food was great but the wings, which were drumstick size ha ha, we're super hot for a regular person. The waiter did say but my friend who likes Hot things said she thought they were super hot I took the skin off one in my lips were still burning. We also have the brussel sprouts and breakfast pizza and they were delish along with my Bloody Mary and a bellini
They gave our reserved seat to another party.
The lamb burger, salmon and barada were our favorites. The wine selection was perfect.
Had my wife's birthday here and had a blast! Staff was SUPER helpful with her surprise birthday! definitely coming back! great food!

Had dinner here for my mom’s birthday and ordered from the DineLA prefixed menu. Open bar for 90 minutes. I chose the house red wine and enjoyed two large glasses during the meal. For my first dish I got the wild mushroom polenta. Super yummy although the portion was just a tad small. A little more would have been nice. The lamb stuffed eggplant was amazing! Good just right. I would definitely order it again. My dessert was the bread pudding. Again, super yummy. I loved it. For the price, I felt very good about everything we ordered. I would definitely come back for the full menu.

Small cramped place near the USC campus with excellent tapas plate brunch. Eccentric ingredients but very creative and interesting food. The place is noisy though. We had excellent service from Ron. Highly recommend for creative brunch and tapas style plates of interesting food.

Went with my son for his birthday brunch. I had the ceviche, which came on a small hot hollowed pice of bread and was actually brushed w garlic and oil. Delicious. He had the chicken sliders. We shared the breakfast fries and closed with the dates. The fries came drizzled with a tasty aioly topped with a runny fried egg - excellent combination and a breakfst on itself. The dates were wrapped onbacon and stuffed with parmesan.
We went for Saturday brunch & it was packed! Professional game at the Colliseum meant food coming out of the kitchen was a bit backed up but the food was amazing, servers were super accommodating and we will definitely be going back...after we check the schedule at the Colliseum.

Made this a stop for DineLA. The special menu was tempting with the included Open Bar, but could have been purchased without the bar. The Barramundi was delicious and I hope this will find its way on the regular menu. The house red wine was very good, as were the champagne and white wine for lighter consumption. There was a bit of a mixup in the kitchen, but the server was very nice to allow an appeasement. Its a small cozy place for friends but keep in mind that it gets loud in this place.
Food was good not great. For some reason everything we ordered was very acidic...a lot of sour on the menu. I personally like sour but it was overdone. Probably wouldn't go back
Was good. At first, me and my friend made a reservation to try out dineLA menu but we decided to eat with regular menu. Price was very good and it was monday yey happy hour all day. We ate fries, culiflowers, pork belly and pizza. Also had 3 glasses of house white wine and a glass of sandria. Total little over $45. Vas very satisfied experience and will definitely come back soon!
This is my second trip to this restaurant. Although the first time was their location at the Americana in Glendale. The food both times was absolutely amazing.
I've been to many very expensive restaurants Downtown L.A. and I can honestly
say this place has the best food of all. We ordered about 7 dishes and each
was better than the next. Also, their bread pudding is pretty unusual and
wonderful. Can't wait to go again.
Always looking for small intimate restaurants with good tapas dishes to share, but I am really so sorry to say we did not have that experience here. The staff were great, but the food was just disappointing. However, we did enjoy the brussel sprouts. The scallops were the biggest let down. There were 4 quarter size scallops (not exaggerating) on a bed of pureed carrots. The lamb stuffed eggplant was not tasty at all but the cauliflower was okay. The red homemade sangria was very sweet and not enjoyable with food at all. Maybe they shine at breakfast or lunch.

We went in during happy hours not expecting the dishes to be $7 each! For a party of 3 we ordered 7 dishes and a drink. The male waiter was very nice and friendly. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, probably due to a weekday night. Nice location as well, parking on the streets wasn't too hard to find. Recommend and would come again!
Bacaro LA was excellent! Reserved seating for a large group and they went above and beyond to ensure everyone was taken care of. Went for brunch. Food is GREAT! Can't wait to go back.
It's hard to find parking, so going early to find street parking is recommended.

Bottomless mimosas with your brunch is definitely a good idea. Tapas are a little small, but they're priced fairly so you can try a number of different kinds.

This was my second time going to this place. I didn't appreciate the automatic gratuity of 20% for my group. I shouldn't be paying 20% gratuity for every glass of wine we order. There was only six of us and the noise level was off the charts. I can't even hear the person talking across me. They should install some noise absorbing material on the walls to at least offset the sound that's bouncing everywhere.
Took my family here for Mother's Day as it's description stated "chic," but this restaurant is far from "chic." I would LOVE to come here on one of their specials nights with a friend or three for small plates (really not tapas, more like small portions of the same thing..) - but I wouldn't come here to celebrate anything really.
Very innovative tapas great food and enjoyed taking to people on either side.
