Bacari - West Third
it was one of the best restaurants in LA I've been so far! I love the little cozy garden and the fact that you enter trough a tunnel. Inside it feels like you are sitting in an old spanish tapas bar. I love the open bar menu and the selection of the small dishes. ABSOLUTELY WELL DONE!
food just not good. Not a very organized restaurant.
Explored this restaurant 2019 Dine LA, brought a couple of friends! WOW—- from the lovely and considerate front person, who asked if we wanted to move as she was seating a party of 10 behind us which we did our new table gave us a bit of quiet even though near the kitchen.
NOW I’ll tell you about the menu- the entrees were excellent! I’m a harsh critic cause of my cooking skills. Perfect amount as they were small plates. The tasting menu began with cheeses and a salami choice of 2, my only wish is they had a sheep, goat and Cow because I don’t eat any cow cheese, the salami was good as was the goat cheese. For mains, 2 choices again excellent!!! We had Lamb kebabs, excellent , Osso Bucco - Amazing; crispy polenta YUM—- and stuffed mushrooms Wow! —- perfectly content... out came the dessert Bread pudding with Vanilla Gelato (I indulged and paid for it But... worth the tummy pain), the other dessert was delish but all dairy! Would have been nice a dairy/gluten free dessert!!! I’ll head back first I can get there.
Water spilled half the bottle of table water on me.
This is a wonderful small gem if you are looking for something special. The entrance is a short tunnel which leads from the sidewalk on 3rd Street to the outdoor patio. The food was excellent. A good selection of very tasty shareable bites. Our server was nice but she got our drink order wrong. A concern we had was that the print on the menu was very small and difficult to read under candle light. Due to this, we were not able to see that wine by the glass is served in three different sizes. Make sure you specify how many ounces of wine you want or you may be billed the "unlimited" option which is $25. I informed the server who brought us the check. She apologized and said she would make the adjustment. Other than that, we had a great time!
Amazing staff, service and food. Handled our large group (16) with ease and grace. We will be back.
Love this place!
Food was amazing and very reasonably priced. It gets extremely loud inside.
Terrific food paired with wonderful service. Ask to be seated in Josh's section. He makes delicious food taste even better!
Great place for an intimate, delicious meal. 10/10
Great service , great food, good prices
Delicious, pretty and romantic if you need that too!
Great for dining with friends or a lovely date
We had six in our party and everyone was happy with the small plates. Everything from appetizers to dessert was delicious !
Really great food for a great price! You won’t go wrong on dinning here!!
Everything is great, starting from service, the food is tasty and delicious, good for any occasion😊
Our visit was nothing short of amazing! The waitress was very polite and seated us right away. She was very friendly and informative. The restaurant specializes in small plates and we were aware of that before ordering. The amount of food is filling, especially the pasta! The food was amazing, hot, and fresh. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in LA.
Amazing atmosphere (indoor outdoor space). Food not of the same quality.
great ambiance especially in the garden. the food is yummy and there are vegan options. I had salatim and vegan chocolate dessert. my party reported that the white pizza and stuffed mushrooms were very tasty.
Bacari was outstanding in hosting my group for our holiday brunch. We loved the atmosphere and will definitely come back. Such a cute location!
Loved the atmosphere, the food was good for the most part. Portions were very small, and when we asked for more bread for our hummus and pate, they brought back one piece for 4 people. We thought it was hilarious...
Staff was friendly, and I would absolutely go back to hang and have a drink. The room was incredibly loud- I think avoiding peak hours is wise if that’s not your thing.
I love the ambiance of this place, .its a perfect chilled out place. Totally obsessed with the red sangria, .its a must and there food which is tapas style is amazing. Definitely recommend this place.
Food was phenomenal, service was great, ambiance was the best. The feeling we got walking through the stone hallway into the atrium was definitely part of the experience in finding this hidden gem. The French fries were an easy pick, but the best dishes were absolutely the lamb belly and stuffed eggplant. It was pretty crowded but added to the warmth of the place. I plan on coming back again and again.
Great ambience and fun for a bottomless brunch. Plenty of food options.
Loved it! Beautiful ambiance, amazing food, will definitely come back!!
Great new restaurant. Will definitely be coming back.
The food was awful!!!!!
I Love this place- what a great find. The food is incredible and being gluten free it really helped that they have items clearly marked on the menu.
I highly recommend coming here for any occasion!
The food was delicious
This is perhaps the loudest restaurant in all of Los Angeles. So so loud. Pad those ceilings!
This is my second time here and its a great wine bar with very good small sharing plates. The service is also very good.
great love the service!
This place is in my neighborhood so I waned it to be great. It’s good, not great. There’s a lot of competition on 3rd Street. Every bite tasted good but the portions are pretty micro. I appreciated the options for wine portions, I will go back for the ambience and ability to walk from my house.
highly recommended. great space & ambiance. food, wine and staff were spectacular. will totally go back next time i'm in town! outdoor dining under the tree with the lights and heat lamps were perfection!
Fantastic meal. All of the food was exceptional, especially the scallops. We ordered two more servings. The service was great and friendly. And great happy hour deal. Will definitely be back. If they get a full liquor license this will be one of the top 10 spots in LA
We sat on magical patio. 2 large groups very loud behind us so noisy. Everything else perfect,
I LOVE THIS PLACE and am so happy to have it in the neighborhood! I've been 5x since it opened a few months ago and love the beautiful outdoor courtyard, the delicious combinations of flavors in each unique dish, the friendly staff and particularly the bacon date cake dessert!
We had a group of 11 and had a wonderful experience. Service was great. Some food orders took a little time to come out while others came in early. But servers were on top of it and constantly checked or apologized for any delays. Food was amazing and good sized for what are considered small plates. Oh and the outdoor setting was simply perfect.
Sunday brunch was absolutely delightful with so many wonderful food choices.
The space is stunning. The staff is great. The food? Not so much. First of all, the menu doesn’t know what it wants to be. It’s not Mediterranean, it’s not Italian, Spanish, or American. The Fries BCN were supposed to be Papas Bajas like you find all over Spain but the sauce, which should be creamy and spicy, was thin and bland. The Caprese used cherry tomatoes which have far less flavor than a regular one. The Crispy Polenta had zero taste. The Crispy Skin Salman was horrible. The skin wasn’t crispy and the fish wasn’t fresh. I couldn’t wait to get that taste out of my mouth. The single saving grace of the meal was the seared scallops dish with corn. That was really good. We didn’t bother to stay for dessert
Absolutely fantastic! I loved the ambiance, the bottomless bellinis, the delicious food. Must get the Bacari pancakes and the crab cake Benedict! I loved it so much.
