   The bacari on silverlake was beautiful, our table was reserved, and everything was ready to go. We did bottomless mimosas which came quick, but the three drinks took drinks took 30 minutes to get. We asked four different servers within that span of time. The food was yummy, but the portions were very tiny, even though it was tapas style.

   When I made the reservation I let the staff know it was a special celebration for my gf mom 50th birthday, upon arrival I gave the stuff the cake, and the present everything ok there, when they brought out the cake the server left it at the table and left. No one sing with us happy birthday ( first restaurant that has done that). The noise level was high we couldn’t even hear each other talking. We ask for a coffee 4 times, it took over 30 mins for the coffe to get to us. Over all not worth the price and ruin the special day.

   First time at Bacari! Enjoyed the patio dining, small tapas for sharing - food was good..especially the mushroom pizza, beets and burrata salad. Eggplant and egg not do much. Crowd - is a mix..didn’t find the place upscale. I suppose you can call it trendy or hipster type of crowd. Drinks were good but lately the small glasses loaded with ice is super annoying. Overall, would come again but not soon. Enjoyed but too many restaurants to try and didn’t “love”.

   Main let-down was the service. Hostesses were fine, but our server seemed to have forgotten we were there as we had to flag down other servers walking by to order and request the bill.

   This was my first time dining at Bacari. The first thing you notice as you enter is a two tiered beautiful outdoor dining space. We were seated inside not far from the bar. The ambiance is warm and welcoming with the lights down low in a rustic antique kind of vibe. All staff were very attentive and helpful. My friend and I shared the shrimp ceviche, mushroom pizza and bass. size of plates are tapas style. We enjoyed the food very much! We will definitely return and recommend to our friends.

   Dined there on an early Friday evening. We sat inside but should have chosen the patio. Such a cool ambiance. Once inside you forget that you are in a busy city location. It got crowded and loud by 6:30. Food was nice but not amazing. Service was a bit slow but fine.

    Went to celebrate my wife’s most recent success. The team on floor were tremendously impressive and served our date with pure and truly genuine positivity. Their actions and delicately polite services were evidence and the consequence of a successful execution of prestige in the plethorically diverse LA food industry. A seriously beautiful place for a date, but also emanated a light and kind sense of hospitality. Thank you guys.

    Great food and attention in a beautiful spot. I always go to the outside patio which is beautiful, wouldn't recommend eating inside (the bar) since the band plays pretty loud and it's hard to have a conversation while having dinner. Outside, it's one of my favorite spots to go in LA.

    I love coming here the food and service is always amazing. this time we had the Salatim, pear and Brie pizza, shwarma tacos and beet gnocchi. My favorite was the pizza. The atmosphere is cozy and really romantic. It’s great for groups as the dishes are tapas style. 10/10 recommend. I can’t say enough good about this place.

    What a gem! Very cool design with the tree growing up through the middle. We went to celebrate a birthday and because I had included that in the reservation note, the hostess greeted my wife with a glass of Prosecco. We were seated quickly and our waiter was upbeat and knowledgeable. We had the burrata caprese, the brussels sprouts, the sea bass, the beet gnocchi and the fries. All of the dishes were delicious and came out quick. We had a few different cocktails and all of them were great. All in all, it was a perfect birthday dinner and was a convenient stop on the way to the Staples Center for a show.

    This is the third time coming to this location and to no surprise the service continued its streak of being disjointed and subpar. I usually ignore it because I love the west 3rd location and service but something has to be done here. There’s always employees milling about doing nothing; from the 4 hosts/hostesses standing there at the entrance yelling out your name versus simply stepping over to approach you, to having 2 employees block your party from sitting at the table, to then seeing 4 employees by the bar talking; it’s a lot of employees doing nothing. While here they even asked a couple next to my table to get up so they could move their table, while eating mind you, so they could rearrange tables behind them to fit a larger group; proving the problem here, poor planning and a sense of someone having control of the chaos. Which then leads into the timing of service; I completely understand and have dined where the food comes out as it’s ready but this is the third time where one person at the table doesn’t receive their dish until an hour in? At that point there was no update from any waitstaff, we periodically asked 3 different people, and once again there was a sense of no one knowing what was going on. I don’t recommend this location as it’s always a mess. I just need to feel like they have things under control which they never do. You might ask, why go back? Because of convenience, it’s by a friend’s house and ultimately I love their food and owners; they just need to retrain their staffing. I don’t understand why the host/hostess stand is at the only entrance and exit of the restaurant as it’s always backed up with a litany of things like: the employees talking, dumping trash, and customers entering and exiting, which ultimately blocks the beautiful doors. If you want good food without the service, come here but also beware that even when expecting poor service, as I already was, it can get even worse than the expectations you set for yourself.

    Overall an excellent meal. We enjoyed everything out of the 10 dishes we shared in a group of 5. That said, I think a more clearly organized menu would really help this place out. It's really hard to course your meal because the sizes and compositions are fairly varied. Additionally, I do not feel like the courses were served in a way that best accentuated the dishes, but rather was ordered mostly for kitchen expedience, and it wasn't that busy. It would be nice to sort things by optimum arrival in a meal, or by veggie and inclusive etc. This wouldn't matter as much in a non shared plate tapas restaurant but here I think it can mean the difference between feeling like you overpaid and leaving hungry and ordering too much food. The dishes are moderately pricey so it's kind of a big deal for me to have this be off balance. Again though, everything was good.

    They were very welcoming! We had a large party and they accommodated well. I’ve visited many high end and fancy restaurants, but this is by far one of the best places I’ve ever visited. We split many dishes, and every single one was incredible. The service was amazing, and dessert was outstanding.

    Except for our appetizer coming way after all the entrees were completed, we had a good time enjoying the delicious delicacies, the ambiance and company. Already missed the well seasoned corn on the sea bass, loved the texture and combination of the super thin asian pear guava purée brie pizza. Last but not the least, they nailed the shrimp ceviche, fresh ingredients with well seasoned crispy chips.

    The staff was attentive. We waited 30 mins to be seated though we had a reservation. Understandable the restaurant was packed, host directed us to the bar to grab a drink while we waited. The food was great as always, and looking forward to our next visit.

    We had a wonderful experience at Bacari Silverlake! Jazmyn was our server and she took EXCELLENT care of us! She was funny, charismatic and made great recommendations! We were given a wonderful table and had such a delicious meal! It was a perfect afternoon date and brunch with the hubby! Will definitely come back to try dinner! Highlight was the pizza and the dessert! Loved the tapas style meal and definitely two to three per person was enough! Great time and will be back!

    The food was amazing and we loved the vibe of the restaurant! However we reserved for a birthday and the waiters were not aware of that. Then when they brought the dessert there was no special celebration at all, when all other tables were getting celebrated by the staff. So that was a little disappointing, but other than that food and service was great!
