I love Bacari and I am so glad to see it back open for outdoor dining. I was worried that I wouldn't get the same quality of food or service with the current pandemic restrictions, but everything was impeccable. I have many favorites on the menu, but the sea bass was the standout star of this visit, it was so fresh and light! Our server(s) were fantastic as well and were able to meet our every need safely and securely. I can't wait to go back.
Was charged one dollar to have a top bun on my burger and that is all I can say about this restaurant
Manager was passive aggressive, poor food quality, unclean dishes, glasses smelt like dirty dish water.
My second time at this location and I’d have to say this dining experience was superb. The customer service was excellent and the food was delicious. The waitstaff was very attentive as well as the manager. Highly recommend. I’ll be back again for sure!
There weren’t any heating laps available but the sun was out so that was okay and made for a nice substitution.
Everything taste great and the service is good too. Everyone is nice and attentive.
Love love Hannah Martin our server. The food is always bomb. I love the stuffed mushrooms, the Mac n cheese w/bacon. The Chilean Seabass. Don’t forget about the desserts and amazing drink specials
The restaurant is beautiful and the food was amazing! We had the scallops, sea bass, vegan mushroom tacos, Bacari fries, ceviche, pear and Brie pizza and the margarita pizza and my boyfriend had the lamb chops. Everything was phenomenal and a great price. For drinks we got the sangria and a Valentine’s Day special drink with Lillet and tequila which I loved and think should always be available! Our server and the GM gave superb service and I can’t wait to come back!
Pesonnell are friendly , helpful, enjoyed our brunch
Horrible service. Drinks came 40 minutes late. Then we found out the drinks we ordered was sold out and nobody told us. Food options were limited too. Overall, unhappy Valentines brunch.
The service was a little slow at first, took 25 min to get acknowledged, But Neil saved the day. The food was ALL delicious, and the 90min open bar was a great deal! Thanks!!
Amazing food, staff, and drinks! We will definitely be back!
The food was great and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly. They did a very nice job making their parking lot into a comfortable, pleasant place to dine. Thank you--I'll be back!
This location was packed with what seemed like a bunch of USC frat bros. Super loud, lots of people walking around with no masks. The ambience was not at all what I was expecting. Maybe I just had a different idea of what it would be, but this seemed like a place for the rich college kids to come and get drunk on a Saturday night, not a nice night out.
LOVED ALL OF IT. Open bar was totally worth it. Thanks again!
Felt safe with the covid-19 precautions taken. Enjoyed the food and ambiance.
Felt like a USC frat party, but all of our servers were absolutely fantastic.
The service was extremely slow, seemingly because they were understaffed. COVID distancing was definitely not in effect. The food was well plated and tasted great. The employees were very friendly but the wait for food and drinks was unacceptable. For a place where I would want to order a lot of items, I didn’t get to enjoy that experience because of how long I had to wait between item delivery and service checks.
Not get for date night but very appreciate for a friends get together. Plates are small and sharable, do not go here if you are extremely hungry.
Very cute place and service was awesome. Great selection of menu items and most dishes were great. Their fried chicken wings are so unique - i've never had fried wings like that that fall off the bone. I think they may have used panko or something similar. They could've used more seasoning, but they were cooked to perfection. The stuffed mushrooms are also delicious, as well as the fried chicken sliders.
Great service and even better food! The quality of food is so good, especially for the price. My only complaint is the noise level, which is understandable considering there’s a lot of college students who go there. It’s so loud I have to shout across the small table just to have a conversation with my friends. If you’re not terribly bothered by young, loud, (possibly drunk) college kids, then you’ll definitely like it.
Absolutely love this place. Food is fantastic, drinks are unique twists on staple cocktails, and the service is top-notch. Will definitely return regularly with friends.
I have to say the “best dessert you’ve ever had” was phenomenal. I’m ready to go back for that alone.
Bacari W Adams is a USC hangout. Located in South LA neighborhood of University Park which was recently coined "West Adams". Bacari has four locations around LA, but this location offers tapas and boozy all you can drink brunches for $20 on Saturday and Sundays. Travel Zoo sent me here, they had an offer for $45 certificate worth $80 - including alcohol. Not a bad gig.
We ordered an array of tapas, each priced between $9-12. I ordered hot tea which came out first, about 5 minutes later a different waiter came to our table asking what kind of tea I wanted. I let him know I already had my tea. 3 minutes later after that, here comes another tea from a different person. It was pretty funny!
We order two of their shrimp polenta without the egg; harissa butter, yellow corn grits, raw cucumber, scallion and grey salt. Came with about 3 pieces of small sized shrimp, the grits were delicious in the small cast iron. The outside layer crisp was excellent adding more flavor to the grits.
For our sides we ordered the brussels sprouts caramelized, pomegranate molasses, creme fraiche, and red beet. Super good! Nice crispy with enough sauce but not overpowering or too rich.
Also ordered Chipotle chicken wings with buttermilk batter! I didn't try it but they said they were good.
Service was slow however, we managed to snag a decent table outside by the TV displaying the USC game in which they won. Fight ON!
Amazing food and vibes. Love this place!
Our new favorite spot! Casually exceptional, Bacari W Adams is a must. From the time we entered the door we were warmly greeted by every team member. Eddie took really good care of us and Chef Tessa rocks with flavor profiles that keep us coming back for more!
The portions are baby size. My crab Benedict was one crab cake with an egg on top. The hash was the size of an Amazon echo. The Milano was the size of a 6 oz cup. Not worth the money, but the food was amazing and very delicious!
Phenomenal food. Will come back.
Really fun place to be
It was the first time any of us have been there. We were a party of four. We all have the same experience love the food, great service, friendly staff. We all affirmed we would definitely return to try new items.and to have again some of what we ate. Favorites were the sea bass, brussell sprouts, pear pizza, the filet steak and stuff mushrooms. All were super good! Didnt care for the salad dressing on one the kale salad that was ordered. But other than that It was definitely a food adventure!
Fun and good place to get lit
Rich , small plates, good cocktails, helpful staff, low-light patio. Everyone there was a USC student, but don't let that deter you.
Yum!! We went on a slow night - Monday. Lucky for us it was $5 margarita Monday and I’m so glad they had a nice selection of fresh flavors. I tried the peach and watermelon but the watermelon was our favorite. We ordered the frog legs , 5 cheese Mac, pork belly, cauliflower and scallops. I was really surprised at the frog legs. It was my first time trying it and it was everything about it that tied perfectly together. If you never had it, the texture is between fish and chicken. The Mac n cheese was pretty cheese but pretty melted, it wasn’t a thick consistency, wished I could taste more of the truffle. The cauliflower was a little too tangy for my taste but overall delicious if you if you like the Buffalo taste. Pork belly and scallops were my favorite. The pork belly was so tasty and well seasoned, fried to perfection. And the scallops hit different. They really saved the best for last. I can’t even explain how delicious the corn and tomato and fondue made this dish to die for. We almost licked the plate clean. For dessert we ended up trying the cardamom ganache. At the first bite it’s way too sweet but then we realized we had to eat everything together to balance it. It was actually pretty good like that. Service was lovely! Very great service but it was a slow night so we had attention. Not sure what it would be like when busy. So great! Will be back again.
Service was great. But that was about it.Our food has a lot to be desired for. It didn't taste fresh and some left us with a weird aftertaste. One of the chicken sliders had an olive pit. How?! The bacaritas were decent. The location we were sat at was loud since it was on the street side. Needless to say, we wont be back to this Bacari location.
Although COVID has displaced us to just outdoor dining - back lot and sidewalks, the food and service are still fantastic! Can't miss the Bacari Fries and French Toast. No matter which location, Bacari always delivers.
Nice outdoor dining option. Tapas style, decent food, amazing service and great deal during DineLA!
Lots of usc college students there for the all you can drink.
Always have a wonderful time here! From the food to the people working there. Amazing gem that I recommend to everyone!!!
Overall this is a great tapas restaurant. The service was very slow, however we have COVID. I believe this restaurant has great potential, they are training a lot of new people. The manger was attentive on site visited every table ensuring his customers were happy. While this appeared to be mostly geared for the college kids, we had a great tome and wonderful food. We hope your team succeeds.
Was great calm and amazing food
