Sticking to the roots of Sonoran cuisine, everything is carefully crafted over open flame y puro amor at Bacanora. If he’s up, then Phoenix is up!

You may still experience a wait time upon arrival due to reservations being booked back-to-back at all tables. Please practice patience and understanding if this occurs because we are working as hard as possible to get everyone sat on time and to have a great experience.

Parking can be found in the parking lot across McKinley from the restaurant, it is reserved for guests of Bragg’s and neighbors.

Heard so much about this place but was always hard to get a reservation. Only small amount of tables so that’s why. So worth the perseverance to get a reservation. The food was unbelievable.

Food was beyond incredible! Every dish 10/10 - flavorful with so much complexity but also perfectly balanced. Portion sizes were just right for sharing, too. It’s a tiny place and you’ll leave smelling like wood fire smoke but it wasn’t “smoky” inside. Service was absolutely wonderful too!

They did a great job of welcoming us, and helping guide our order by answering our many questions. They were very friendly and helpful. Asked for steak to be medium, it came out closer to medium well so I was a little surprised by that. Other than that, food was amazing. Well worth the hype in my book. The cucumber salad was delicious, and I don’t even care for cucumber normally. I had the best cocktail in my life there as well. It was the old fashioned, but made with tequila. Wow, so good! Didn’t get to meet Chef Rene, that would have topped off the night. I can’t wait to go back and try what I didn’t get to try this time.

What a fun experience. The space is small, music loud, and zing to the food but We loved the Elote, (spicy), cucumber salad, chicken dinner entree, the Paloma cocktail too. Didn't love the scallop ceviche or banana tamale dessert as it was too heavy and dense. the Presentation of the food was outstanding. We highly recommend...Our server Alex was terrific. We look forward to returning.

Sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. We ordered a lot of food and loved every bite. Definitely recommend the bean dip, the bone marrow and then the ribeye. Drinks were amazing as well on top of 5 star service.
