The waiting staff was excellent. The ambience was everything that I can imagine, but the food was the best and so are the cocktails.

We had the most amazing time at Babula last night. As an American with a severe shellfish allergy it can be quite daunting to try new things when traveling because of the fear of cross contamination. No worries at Babula. The manager took my allergy very seriously and communicated it to the chef, which made me feel so relaxed knowing I didn’t have to worry. We had a reservation and were seated outside on their terrace on a beautiful evening. From the time we were seated we had incredible service and food. Their cocktail list is impressive as well as their wine selection BUT oh the food was the star of the evening. Beef Tartare, burrata, cannelloni, charcuterie was all amazing. Watching the tartare being prepared table side was a treat. We finished the meal with mouthwatering cheesecake. The atmosphere was very intimate and romantic and it was the perfect ending to our time in Barcelona. The manager even hailed us a cab when we finished our meal. Service was impeccable we will be back on our next trip. Thanks to the restaurant for making an amazing memory for us.

Excellent food and service, would definitely recommend this tapas bar for food and the specialty cocktails. So far the best we have found in Barcelona!

So so good! Food was amazing, cocktails were delicious and the staff could not have been nicer. Highly recommended. I never write reviews but this place is special.

We came Babula Bar for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was an incredible experience. The interior and atmosphere were fantastic, you were always looking around at the interiors and the food coming out the kitchen. The food was incredible but my top dishes had to be the foie gras, scallops, steak tartare and cheesecake. Our waitress Laia deserves special mention as she made the experience extra special. We asked for some of her recommendations and she was personable yet professional and couldn’t be more attentive and helpful. It’s so worth the visit here!
