We had dinner before seeing a play at the Fisher. The food was delicious, the server was very nice and capable. She felt like a friend. We took a long time ordering because it was our first time there and she was very gracious. I tend toward vegetarian food and there was ample selection. My friend ordered the salmon toast, he enjoyed it very much. I had their version of the Cobb salad, minus the bacon. Very good! We shared fried, also good. The floor to ceiling windows with a view of Woodward made the whole restaurant feel light and airy. We will go return!
The food and service were amazing!!! It was our first time going to Babo. Highly recommend.
Excellent restaurant! Food was fantastic for all nine of us. The service was even better and the ambiance was great. It’s a modern space with simple furnishings and super tasty food. It’s proximity to the DIA was what made us try it; but we’ll be back whether we visit the DIA or not. Try the avacado toast!!!
The food was great but it took forever to get our food. Not sure if our ticket got lost or if they were slammed in the kitchen but a table came in and ordered much later than we did and we all ended up getting our food at the same time.
Food and service was solid. Didn’t like that they were sweeping and mopping while we were there. Almost the entire time.
Such a cute place and the service is so friendly! The food is amazing and the hospitality is always top notch. I’ve been bringing all my friends here and they love it!
Took a half an hour for the food to come after ordering. Got the mezza (which is almost entirely pre-made with pickled eggs, olive tempanade, etc), but they forgot the lamb sausage under the heat lamp. it was lukewarm by the time I had the opportunity to ask about it and they brought it over. An olive pit was in the olive tempanade. My partner got eggs Benedict which was pretty average with one of the English muffins being rock hard. The staff was friendly and the menu creative. Would go back to try out another dish - maybe they were just having an off day.
Like this place. I would like however if they would have a better variety of omelet choices. Fancy isn't always best. Just a simple western omelet would be great! Priced a little high for bacon and eggs, but it is a cute place. I've been twice.
I was seated right away with a reservation.
Waited about 10 minutes to get water and coffee, then ordered and waited another 45 minutes.
We asked if it would be much longer, the waiter said the cook staff was a little behind. We then saw a table that had been there at least 10-minutes before us just getting food.
We told the waitress we had to leave and couldn’t wait any longer and she said she would cash us out for beverages because we were “in a hurry” and seemed surprised that 45 minutes was a long wait.
After looking at the menu, I could not justify a 45 minute plus wait.
Nice place for a brunch. Did not go in the evening so I can’t speak to dinner.
Delicious food but an insanely long wait for just two menu items. Got to the restaurant at 10:30, ordered at 10:40 and didn’t get our meals until 11:10. Would recommend this place to those who don’t mind long wait times.
Very loud din in room so some sound-proofing would be in order... Service very good, friendly and attentive... Crème brûlée french toast was cooked well with welcomingly different toast texture and sweetness. But Eggs Benny was strange, with heavy dose of melted cheddar cheese though it was supposed to be hollandaise sauce;. Maybe it was but didn't seem so. Also, the home fries were heavily salted - kosher salt goes a long way! - best to leave unsalted.
