Babin’s Seafood House - The Woodlands
There is nothing like soul-satisfying New Orleans style seafood. Sample our world-famous gumbo, made with dark brown roux and the Cajun trinity (bell peppers, onions and celery). Blue crabs from the Gulf of Mexico, catfish from the Atchafalaya swamps, oysters shucked to order and a whole fish filleted in-house bring New Orleans right to your table.

Everything was wonderful. Our sever Lauren was simply amazing. Can't wait to come again.
Excellent service and food was delicious!
Great service provided by our server. Gave good recommendations for some of our party that never really ate seafood. Loved the decor and setting. Overall very happy
Food was mediocre at best and the portions were extremely small.
Food was ok. Honest mistake with the order but the waitress fixed it up quickly. Thank you for that. A bit over priced and food not really authentic. Landry’s is a much better choice
My wife and I always enjoy Babin's in The Woodlands. We always ask for PJ. The oysters on the half shell are always good and I enjoyed the crab cakes. My wife enjoyed the oysters Rockefeller.
Great food, wonderful service, and good prices. Great place to dine with family and friends!
Great service and great food but I did miss having my favorite dessert “chocolate indulgence “ .
The Service was GREAT, but Food was disgusting...Will never eat there again...well technically I didn't even eat there then I sent everything back. GROSS!
Overall great-My waitress and my bartender (after dinner) were exceptional
My server or runner seamed to be lost- hopefully he was new
Food was good except the stuffed shrimp had a sour taste so I did not eat them. Everything else was good.
This is the first time I have done and was actually disappointed with the food. I ordered the Fish and Chips; the fish was go greasy and was not drained properly, there were more "crunchies" on my plate than fish. I had requested extra, extra, extra crispy fries and they still came out limp.
Was just not my great experience that I usually get. And I gave up Pappa's Seafood years ago for Babins!
We love Babins and our server, Teresa, is always amazing!
Family vacation was going great and lunch at Babin’s added to the positive experience. As Cajun/Creole folks the environment felt very welcoming
I go to Babins for the quality of the food. No other restaurant comes close to the taste of their food. I was disappointed in the fried oysters appetizer that I ordered on my most recent visit. It was very apparent the oysters I was served had been made quite some time prior to my arrival as they did not have that freshly cooked look or taste and some one in the kitchen was very stingy with the cream sauce that is poured on top of the oysters. The rest of my meal was spot on.
I wish I had two stomachs!! The food here was phenomenal and the service was the same. Kayla waited on us and she couldn’t have been nicer. She gave out great suggestions and recommended delicious food. The ambience was relaxed and inviting. We would definitely come here again for our few and far between date nights!
Excellent seafood. Redfish was prepared perfect. My wife had the Soft Shell Crab and she was raving about it. Excellent prepared seafood for a fair price.
Never dined at Babins before this weekend. Had a party of six and made a reservation ahead of time. No wait to be seated. Server was very friendly and helpful. Drinks, appetizers and meals came promptly. Nice selection of seafood and some other dishes. Food was good overall. Would recommend it but personally like pappadeaux food a bit better.
Went out with friends. One of our favorites.
Wonder because our dessert wasn't placed on the ticket and we had to wait for over ten minutes we were given it on the house.
Good service and always smiles with the food.....pleasant wait staff and not over the top with inquiries like some other establishments when your trying to enjoy your company at your table.
Great food. Was very busy as it was a mother’s day but worth the noise and busy time.
Was a little noisy but the place was packed for Mother's Day. Great place and food.
The food was great as usual, little noisier than usual, but it was Mother's Day.
My wife but into 3 pieces of oyster shell in our oyster appetizers. A different server brought us a bread tray even though our server had just refreshed ours. The bread in this one was individual pieces instead of a solid loaf. It appeared to us that it was old and we were offended by it. Our bread pudding desserts were not warmed up. My wife 3ncountered sections of hers that were cold. We took them home and heated them there. Our tab with tip was $92.
The selection is always great. The food is always delicious. I was sad to find they no longer serve Sauce Pacante as a topping for fish entrees.
Johnna did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome and helped with our indecision!
We love Babin’s; however, we were extremely disappointed that they no longer have stingrays (stuffed jalapeños) on the appetizer menu! Bring them back!
We really enjoyed the amazing variety of offerings on the menu. I only wish they would have had fresh caught tuna on the day we were there.
Excellent service and delicious food!
Great food and atmosphere! ! Our waitress was the best!!! I highly recommend you visit this location if you seafood and a taste of New Orleans! !
Good Easter lunch — food was good but service was chain-like with servers who were only moderately professional.
Great service. Our waitress was wonderful and very on top of things! Will be going back :)
Waitress was forgetful, drinks were awful compared to last weekend .
Everything was great except the gumbo. It was very salty
Nice place for s get togather nice lever was perfect. I will come back.
Great service and good food
Always dependable; good quality and excellent service. Will definitely revisit.
I try to go to Babin's when I'm in Houston aa I'm from Louisiana. My mother lives in Kingwood, so we drove 25 miles or so to eat lunch, even making reservations as I thought there might be a large crowd
for Mardi Gras day. The waiter raised his voice to me which really irritated me as I worked in the restaurant industry for most of the 80's with this behavior quite amateurish. He forgot my Mom's appetizer, so we asked to have it prepared for take out. Earlier, my mother requested another bread which was never delivered at all. Another thing that puzzled me was when he took away a dirty fork which I did not question as I still had another, but the fork was resting upon a dirty knife. Why wasn't that taken, also?
The food & drink were good with my Sazerac quite nice, even though it was garnished incorrectly with an orange peel? Give me a break. Good service can make or break a meal. I will probably not return.
Great staff but food highly priced for portion size
Broiled fish is very bland. Blackened is the only option for a savory meal . Sides are passable but not at this price point. Pappadeux blows this place away
