Great evening. Interesting menu, great wine list. Service was also very good.
Such great food and service!!!!!
We ate outside and it was great. The food was delicious and the service was attentive.
I love this restaurant- the food, the service, the ambiance! My only complaint is that the music is about five decibels too loud...and a lot of hard core rock which makes it even more annoying....
great night out- we sat by choice in the outdoor kiosks which were fine, tables were a bit close but the had plexiglass (does plexiglass kill COVID?) service was very good, the food was outstanding
Disaster. Bad service. Octopus was not soft. Ravioli were cold. Bad location of the table in the street.
The chef is a creative genius, taste and texture were amazing!
Fantastic food. I waited too long before visiting this icon of a restaurant. Will return soon.
Everything from the food , service and atmosphere was outstanding.
The food, service and ambiance made our Easter lunch very special!
Overall, I like this place. However, I do not like that they require that you order all of your food at once.
We’ve been regulars at Babbo for almost 20 yrs. It was a sad moment, ordering our favorite classics, the beef cheek ravioli, sweetbreads, and others and seeing completely new dishes come out. Tasty, but not at the level of the classics. We couldn’t find other favorites on the menu at all, like the goose liver pasta with balsamic brown butter. The waiter was very good, and explained to us they were temporary pandemic measures. But it was hard to escape the feeling that we’ve come to the end of an era. Here’s hoping for the recovery. Until then, wasn’t worth the $350 price tag for two.
Birthday gray food great dessert great environment
Good pasta. Good wine.
Lots of good touches with amuse bouche from chef
This is always our go-to restaurant when we want a special experience. The service and the food never disappoint!
Always an amazing experience! Bravo!
The food and service were just perfect. The quality of the food was excellent as always. Is always a treat to dine at Babbo!
SERVICE AND FOOD WERE GREAT, VERY CUTE OUTDOOR SET UP.
Superb in every way. Sweetbreads ++good. Great cocktails. Outstanding carpaccio.
Packed house and they tried to seat me upstairs (I don’t like
Every bite of food special and delicious
Astounding meal
Great experience. Very accommodating and helpful staff. I would thoroughly recommend. The whole meal was A**
Reserved a high top. Were given a low top though there were high tops available.
Staff were running around. Bartender looked bored.
Ordered their special. Medium rare duck which came very rare.
This place did not resemble the great reviews I read before coming. Just lackluster.
Good Italian spot. Very good for dates. Food at reasonable prices as well.
Food was very good, but they ran out of special we wanted and it was only 6:30pm. Music bordered on the loud side and was unusual choice for upscale restaurant. Service was excellent.
Wonderful from start to finish
Sat on street, was a little chaotic, food good, but not that memorable. Sadly, was first time I had been to Babbo in 10 visits, where it seemed pretty average overall.
Always feels welcoming - we go because my partner lives for the Tripe accompanied by their lush Barolo - my tuna and salmon crudo was spectacular
Love and Romance
Great dinner. Music was strange - kind of killed the ambiance
Lobster was super funky smelling and clearly not fresh. Carpaccio was not raw, but rather weirdly seared? Overall, pretty disappointed with the food, so we won’t be back, but I will say - the service is wonderful and the staff are really great.
Excellent service and good food. Very loud music though. I had been there before amd I did not recall it like that.
Absolutely delicious, a great meal for a special date night.
Food was good but expectations were higher. Service was good even considering Covid, but not wow. It’s very noisy
This is the best food ever! When I’m in town I head there.
Food and service is tremendous! I’m still talking about it.
Save me some pear ravioli for next time. And the pistachio desert!
All i can say is WOW!!!!!
Probably one of the worst dining experience I’ve had in quite a while from a restaurant that touts itself as being high end. Loud music blaring, kitchen incredibly slow and an excuse of “oh they didn’t see your order” after waiting 90 minutes for a second course. I’d expect much more from a restaurant of this ilk. You’d be better served at Burger King. I’m sure the addition of many outdoor tables to increase capacity is part of the reason for bad service but the customer pays the price. Never going back. I’ll stick with Don Angie any day.
After a long wait final y
Great and enjoyable dining experience - real pros
We had a fabulous birthday dinner at this neighborhood gem. We sat outside in one of their partially enclosed dining rooms, which was cozy, but socially distanced and well ventilated. Among the appetizers we shared was a mozzarella dish, which was so delicious and unusual with the addition of squash. For dinner, we had mint love letters, the ragu, and the lamb chops. All were amazing. We shared a delicious chocolate dessert, which came with a candle for our celebration. Our server was perfectly attentive but also unobtrusive and made excellent suggestions for our meal. We also received a wonderful wine selection from the sommelier, which paired perfectly with all of our meals. We can't wait to go back again!
