Caught a impromptu dinner with my friend tonight at Baar Baar and it did not disappoint! The food is amazing. Cute ambience and excellent service. If to you are looking for a cool spot with amazing Indian food and drinks this it the way to go!
Incredible service and absolutely delicious vegetarian meal!!! The Vegeterian snack is sooo yummy!
Went with some friends and really enjoyed the food. We are all foodies and it was nice to have a Indian fusion food.
Ambiance was great.
Would definitely go back
Amazing food, music, and drinks. Will definitely come back every time I'm in town.
Less than average. Quality of food subpar. Service slow. Taste of food not memorable. Sadly over priced venue.
All the food was creative and delicious, especially the tandoori mushroom! Service was friendly, energetic, and helpful, but not overbearing. Would recommend for any occasion!
It was good
Excellent service!! Food was delicious and worth the price point. Beautiful ambiance. Ask for Souf, he was the best!!! He made our experience even better.
Amazing food, great ambience and amazing service
Unique menu for an Indian restaurant. Everything we had was delicious thanks, in part, to good advice by our server. The overall service was excellent--on the job and not intrusive. I'm looking forward to going back to try other dishes.
This was my second time here, but this time was for brunch. While I love Indian food being experimented and bringing out a very different taste altogether, I was pretty upset with the brunch. It could also be because of my high expectations after having a delightful dinner here.
I was here with a friend and we ordered the veggie burger that comes with a side of fries and jackfruit burrito. The best in all of this was the side of fries. The ingredients in the burrito did not go well and hence was a super let down. The burger was still okay but wasn’t great or probably well experimented considering they could have done a lot with the Indian style.
However, the dinner here is indeed amazing.
Great place!! The decoration is stunning, very nice details... the food is amazing, so many flavors, lovely dishes, everything is delicious and refined. Cocktails are awesome, extensive wine list. Service is perfect!! Loved the ambiance!!
Beautiful space. Went for brunch. The band strangely played a lot of Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5 covers. I was expecting more traditional music. Food was amazing although the service was average. It was very loud for brunch.
Really delicious meal! Definitely worth a visit. Every dish we ordered was very tasty.
Great food and ambiance! Modern take on some indian classics!
The music on Sat lunch was a live dj to accommodate a large party right in the middle of the restaurant.
It totally ruined the whole experience.
The food and our waiter was amazing but when you can't hear what your hubby is saying...and when you leave your ears are ringing...
The owner should close the restaurant down for parties only if that is the type of music she wants to play. She could hardly hear what I was saying...
Great food and service....
Singer far too loud and honestly annoying.....
Great food, good energy, music was a bit too loud and desserts were average. Our server was amazing, she was attentive and super helpful.
Definitely on our repeat list.
Baar Baar was an excellent experience - the ambience was incredible and the service was fantastic. Our servers went above and beyond to provide timely service, with very kind, polite and courteous demeanors
A great cocktail menu accompanied by creative food options is what I remember about the place. I really liked the way in which the chef tries to dramatize the Indian food and surely lot of experiment with the drinks.
The service was kind of slow, maybe they were giving us enough time to chat and catchup.
A little on the higher end, great for special occasions.
Unique menus, delicious food. Great ambiance and service. Will be a return place for me. Great place to celebrate.
The service bar is separate from the restaurant so having to pay for the drinks before heading to the table is not the best transition plus having to carry your own drink is also annoying. Someone actually bumped into me and spill my drink. My top got ruined.
The food and service at the table are good though.
Probably the worst service I’ve ever had in nyc. Not to mention the ripoff for Diwali night which lacked live music and entertainment like promised. Incredibly disappointed.
the food is great, the vibe and decor is great and the service was on point. this is my second time here and i love it. also a great balance of veg and non veg dishes.
No voicemail or prior notice before seating that the menu would be fixed and required for every single person in the party. Butter chicken was not fully cooked, which was off-putting. Constantly asked to order drinks, never asked how we liked the food served to us.
We had a nice time. Food was gooooood, but it was the Diwali celebration and they only had a pre fixe. I want to go back and try dishes from the main menu. Overall great good, good service.
Great food, excellent service and atmosphere
Brilliant cocktails and creative food! The stuffed Naans are to die for! Love the flavors, ambience, variety of dishes, décor.
My girlfriend and I wanted to dine at Baar Baar because of its Indian cuisine. The food was excellent and the ambiance is cool. The bad news is that the waiter served us a Cider that was over the "best before" date. My girlfriend told the waiter about this and waiter's answer was "if you want I can open another one for you, but they all have august/18 best before date". My girlfriend did not want more alcohol, so she passed. But for our surprise, the cider was charged in the bill.
This is my second time here and not my last! The chutneys, the mass breads and sauces are totally amazing! We had buttered chicken, the sea bass and one lamb small plate. Really enjoyed it all.
Great service, super ambience and perfect food.
Absolutely love this place, my second time here.
Need to come here again !!!
We went for birthday party. The cocktails & appetizers were really good
The venue was very crowded. The food was good cross between French influences on Indian food. Not what I was expecting but they do a great job. They surprised us with an anniversary dessert!
A modern take on Indian food. Faithful to the original but with a twist. Most dishes were both authentic and novel. The chicken malai kebab however was a disappointment. The kulchas were fab, the small plates reasonably sized and as she should be, the dessert carrot halwa cake was a revelation. A place to come baar baar (again and again)!
Excellent ambiance as soon as you walk in. Beautiful bar area to have a drink or two before getting seated for dinner. A very creative menu with very tasty food. Am not a vegetarian but saw a very good vegetarian selection on the menu. Outstanding service being both professional and very friendly.
Great space & ambience! I came here for my birthday, and everything we ordered was amazing! The staff was friendly, and every item on the menu had a twist on the standard Indian version of the dish. Will def come back!
We had a reservation for 8pm and they didn’t seat us till 8:45.
The drink menu looked amazing but we tried 4 at our table and were underwhelmed by them. They all were pretty bland considering how many ingredients they had in them. The food was overall great. I felt the short ribs were dry/tough but the sauce was good. Oysters were out of this world. The Kulches were yummy but didn't understand why they added parmesan to all of them? It's not needed. Service was pretty good...
