For the months of July and August B-Side restaurant will be hosting a special culinary residency by Caldero.

B-Side is located in the heart of Hayes Valley at SFJAZZ, the country's only free standing venue devoted to jazz. B-Side provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere, with a menu designed to be enjoyed in a lounge setting. Craft cocktails, focused wine list and modern-American food served in a music-focused environment.

B-Side's full dinner menu available from open to 7:30pm. B-Side After Dark lounge menu (full bar menu and light bites) from 7:30pm-close. B-Side After Dark is a cozy lounge environment for enjoying music (sometimes live music), a good cocktail and light bites.

I look forward to a return of the normal B-side restaurant operation. This Mexican restaurant was not very good.

Our food was good - but a completely different menu than that was posted online. The service was unusually strange- a number wait staff drifting by our table without taking our order.

We have been to BSide before concerts @ SF Jazz many times & enjoyed many of its incarnations — the cocktails are always very well done. But, this latest popup from Cordero was the best yet: delicious paella and tortilla espanola, along w/a very good Rioja. Bravo!

We were very disappointed with the temporary change in the menu. The food was at best fair. Go back to your standard menu. We should be back in September.

Pop up Spanish food was a real treat. Food was excellent and Spanish wine recommended by our waiter was a great match.

Having a restaurant at SFJazz is a wonderful option for pre-concert dining. In the past, BSide delivered consistent, decent service, food and drinks. After dining at B-side 3 times in past 2 months, great service cannot overcome the now inconsistent food. Ordering the same items wildly vary in quality and ingredients. The pozole with pork met expectations on one occasion and disappointed on the next. The roasted chicken salad should be called cabbage salad with essence of chicken. The grill dinner is a great option yet also inconsistent in the preparation of fish. I noticed multiple tables sending back the same dish. Please return to your past food quality.
