Pretty good, new place. Interesting food. Service was a little amateur, but ok
Wait staff seemed stressed. They didn’t clear the tables very well. Food was excellent and happy hour was good.
Service is superb! We ate during their happy hour. Great deal with draft beers at $4. We had their calamari and fried Brussel sprouts. Both were outstanding. I had their flat bread-bacon, Gorgonzola, green apple, spring greens and loved it. A friend with us had the pork chop and said it was really good. My husband had the charcuterie-pizza and said it was just ok. We sat at a table that was next to the walkway everyone uses to walk to the lobby. There is quite a wind tunnel there which made it cold to sit there. They couldn’t do much so we moved the table back ourselves and that helped a lot. If you are staying at the hotel and don’t want to leave to eat, the food is good and service really good.
Great place. Only downfall is that they had a reunion eating by our table so we asked to be moved and were accommodated. Great evening, nice chef's!
The food was good, but expensive for the portions. The way they have the tables are awful, we felt like we were sitting in a hallway, it was loud with the bar, you could smell the pool, and the server forgot about us for a while.
Our server, Anya (sp?), was amazing. So friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The food was delicious, too. We don’t get out much but we look forward for another special occasion to return
Lovely, quiet farm to table restaurant located inside the Oakbrook Hilton. The cocktails were creative and very good. The food was fresh, very tasty and I had enough for leftovers. Service was well paced and allowed for a very relaxed meal. Would highly recommend.
Very good food and attentive and friendly service. Ania was wonderful. Setting is very modern and since it also bar area, the music was turned up too loud once it was 8:00 pm, with dinnervstill going on.
Would go again as good and service were outstanding.
We were at the hotel for a business conference. Lunch, Dinner, and Breakfast were enjoyable.
Delicious food and attentive and friendly staff.
The restaurant was recently remodeled and is modern and elegant. Food was top notch, wine list was impressive. We will dine here again in the future.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into by coming here as I only looked at the menu. It is situated inside the Hilton hotel too. Our server Anna was great! Very polite and helpful when choosing a wine. The calamari as a starter was one of the best calamari I’ve had in awhile. The scallops were great as well with the corn and bacon. We tried the deconstructed waffle cone for dessert and it did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone and I will definitely be back.
The most outstanding feature of this restaurant was the excellent service we received. It was extremely attentive and friendly. The farm to table food was also very good. We had the salmon, which was prepared very moist, as we requested, that was topped with crispy skin that was excellent. We also had the burger that was made with chopped brisket meat. It was very tender, tasty, and devoid of any fat or gristle. The homemade potato chips were also delightful, but next time we'll order the chips as an appetizer which is then accompanied by blue cheese and another delectable-sounding something else I can't remember right now. We certainly will return to this restaurant.
We celebrated my wifes birthday with a stay at the Hilton and decided to try B restaurant. We were both very pleased with the overall experience. I've already recommended the restaurant to family and friends in the area.
We will really enjoy the view of the golf course and the fountain. They also have many more gluten-free options than you typically find at most restaurants.
I went with my family to B. for Sunday Brunch. Brunch starts at 11:00 a.m. and we were there at 10:45 a.m. so thankfully we were able to order off the menu because the Brunch price per person was crazy expensive. Plate portions off the menu were small and the food was very average. There was only a couple of families eating in the dining area where we were, but despite not that many customers the wait staff was slow and disappeared. I got up and got my own coffee. We chose this restaurant because it had high ratings. I will not be going back and I would not recommend it for Sunday breakfast or Brunch.
My husband and I enjoyed B Restaurant. We were seating near the window and the views of the fountains and golf course were so relaxing and calming. Our server was amazing! He was so upbeat and gave us perfect recommendations! I had the blackened salmon and my husband had the lamb chop. The evening, dinner, drinks, service and ambiance were truly wonderful!
We will be back!
Waitress was great! She was polite and energetic. The food was great and the atmosphere was really nice. They were great views of the golf course.
We went for Mother's Day Breakfast Buffet. Food was fresh and delicious. Hotel is beautiful. Wait staff was a little light because they were prepping for the full brunch. Will definitely be back for breakfast on a none holiday weekend!
We went with family and were pleasantly surprised with the food and the drinks. The cocktail list was very interesting and had a wide variety and the drinks were all delicious. They also had a good list of beers, some local. The food was good, my mom loved the beet salad with salmon and I think the best dish we had was the bacon & Gorgonzola flatbread. The only reason I gave the service 3 stars instead of 5 was the slowness of receiving our check and a to-go container. We were with a 3 year old so trying to get out quickly for everyone's sanity but that was a little tough. In all we'll definitely be back again and have already recommended to friends.
Food and service were exceptional!! I was celebrating a friend's birthday and they brought her a beautifully decorated (and delicious) chocolate cake... and brought me one, too (we are both cancer survivors and said that should be celebrated, too!). The manager came over to check on us and we couldn't rave enough about our wonderful and personable server! The manager was pretty great, too. Highly recommend this restaurant, especially in the spring/summer when the view of the golf course is spectacular. They grow their own garden and you can see it from the restaurant. It's not your typical hotel restaurant and is decorated very nicely and comfortably.
Suprised my wife on Valentine's day by reserving a table for two at B's. Started out with the hostess giving my wife a rose, followed by complimentary glasses of Champagne! Our server was excellent, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lively. I would highly recommend for any occasion.
I didn’t know the restaurant was located in the Hilton. It was a great time!
We had so much fun. My wife, kids & I came after Saturday evening Mass. It was a local place that had participated in the taste of Westmont I remembered it. Our waitress was excellent, the food was spot on. My wife had the pork chop with chimichurry sauce (nicely spicey) and I had the Lamb burger which was outstanding. My son went with a side of the mac & cheese with a bowl of the bone marrow soup. Both were great. Did I mention our waitress was excellent. A quality evening from start (blue cheese potato chips) to finish (triple chocolate cake).
our waitress Angelika is wonderful Full of energy and very attentive. Many parties and weddings at the same time so it was rather loud .Will be going back again
Decent food. Decent service
Everything was excellent!!! Had the strip steak with mashed potatoes and leeks. Brussel sprout dish was very good, too!!! Loved the toast with honey and whipped cheese!!!!
Omg. Beyond impressed. Decided to check this place out after seeing they offered gluten free lamb meatballs which sounded amazing plus Andy wanted the venison chili. Service was prompt and courteous and the setting was very romantic. Especially loved the lit-up fountain that we could see through the picture windows. The drink menu was unique and definitely piqued our interest. Despite the cost of the drinks outweighing our meal, it was totally worth it. I had the XOXO which was comprised of patron silver, st germain, and lemon juice. It smelled super tart but the elderflower liqueur balanced the lemon perfectly. Absolutely divine. After that wonderful experience we just had to expand our horizons and try the bourbon sangria. Who’d have thought to pair makers, lemon juice, and malbec?! But it was AMAZING!!!! We will definitely be trying this at home. all of this awesomeness and that was just the drinks! Both dishes were also excellent and exceeded our expectations. Andy’s venison chili was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of kick to make it interesting but not ward off people who don’t like spice. Same with the lamb meatballs. Tender, saucy, but not too tomatoey and the perfect amount of heat. Can’t say enough about how great everything was here. It’s a must for anyone in the area. be sure to check in because we were even more surprised when we got 20% off immediately just for checking in on yelp! It pays to be social 😉
We were having a dinner meeting to discuss an upcoming banquet we were planning for our high school swim team. While the service was good it took far too long for our food to arrive. Fortunately, we had plenty to talk about while we were waiting. Once the food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was a very nice size portion. The beet salad with goat cheese was also quite nice.
Do not be fooled! This is not a farm to table restaurant. We decided to try this place for brunch and it wasn’t any different than your typical hotel breakfast buffet. We were disappointed to say the very least...
Very delicious dinner.
Very delicious dinner.
It is a beautiful environment with large windows and pleasant scenery. The menu offered interesting and good selections.
The only con is that since the area is so open there is a draft the comes through the entire seating area. So, bring a layer to wear if you eat here.
This restaurant was recommended by a friend and I'm glad I took the chance. The food was delicious and the servers were great, friendly and accommodating. I would go back in a minute and in fact I inquired about having a bridal shower there. It's a great find and not far from home.
We were really looking forward to a good farm to table experience but we're disappointed in our lunch.
Despite the hyperbole and marketing designed to make you think this is a special restaurant, it is unfortunately the standard hotel lobby restaurant. Its not bad, its just not a destination restaurant as portrayed. The menu is simply the same old ordinary menu that you'd get in most nice hotels - the food is good but not superior and certainly not interesting. The patrons are families with tired, crying kids and loud trade show attendees. Hence, the restaurant is far from romantic, quiet or even relaxing. The seating is basically in the lobby of the hotel and though there's a wall of windows to look out over the golf course, there's the typical stream of foot traffic of guests / staff going back and forth down the main hallway that disrupt the view. The staff is very nice if you can get their attention, but getting their attention is often difficult, so expect to be largely ignored.
If I was a guest in the hotel, the convenience of the restaurant would make it worthwhile I guess. As a resident in the general area I wish I would've gone to one of the zillion more interesting restaurants with better food and service.
This is not your typical hotel restaurant. The theme revolves around the bees and
honey from the property. All the items are fresh and locally sourced.
I would recommend the salmon and the caesar salad. Very tasty.
Drinks are a little pricey at $10-13. Overall it was very good, the windows
overlook the water and the golf course.
Poor guest service from the start. Sat for 10 minutes before anyone came to the table. Then the entire meal came out at once. For the large check there should have been excellent service but it was extremely poor. When I complained to the manager nothing was done. I asked them to give me a call to speak to the boss and I still have not received a phone call. Never ever going back. Stay away unless you like awful service from staff and manager.
Beautiful views and good food at a reasonable price. However, the staff seem disorganized and was not attentive.
The brunch staff rushed us through. As soon as we got in line for omlettes (10:30), the chef said he was about to leave. The waitress brought out the bill before we returned from the line. No coffee or water was offered. I realize it was a buffet, but the staff all seemed like they were in a hurry to get off work.
We have went to B restaurant twice now, expecting the brunch buffet.
The first experience they informed us that the buffet is only available in the summer. So we stayed anyways and ordered ala carte. The portion sizes are EXTREMELY SMALL for the price and the menu is EXTREMELY LIMITED and BORING.
The second experience was Easter weekend. We celebrate a bit early with this side of the family, so we visited B. on Saturday. Their website said brunch buffet was available for $18 adults and $13 children. My grandmother called the week before to confirm there would be a buffet, in which they confirmed. We arrived at 10:15 and there was no buffet, once again. This time, their reason was contingent on a 50%+ hotel occupancy. Apparently guests are supposed to know what percentage occupancy the hotel is at????
POOR SERVICE. FALSE ADVERTISING.
They offered their ala carte menu, which we denied based on our previous experience.
We will not be visiting ever again.
