there is a noise level above energetic. It is called unpleasant and unacceptable. A full house on Friday confirms that a lot of people know this is a worthy restaurant. The wait staff is proficient. The food is generally very good and sometimes excellewnt. They have an interesting and somewhat overpriced wine list. There is not much management can do about a crowd that behaves like they are at a sporting event. It does make me think that we will limit our patronage to nights earlier in the week.

Keith was the best waiter! Great food, must try the goat cheese skillet. Focaccia was the best bread I’ve ever had, with the rosemary and sea salt on top. Great ambiance. Restaurant is very sleek and clean. Nora was a great serving assistant. Plates were brought out in a timely manner and cleaned up promptly.

We were with another couple and we had a gift certificate. We explicitly told the waitress we wanted separate checks for this reason, and she said it was no problem. However, when she brought the bill it was totaled together. The food was very pricey. I had the zuppa de clams special and it was average and cost $49. We didn’t care for the calamari appetizer which was $21. We were disappointed in the desserts.

B Napoli is one of the finest restaurants in Western Mass and Northern CT. We love the grilled octopus appetizer and the roasted olives were divine…a totally new way to have them. Both our entrees were superb. The staff is always gracious and efficient. The only critique we have is it is noisy and difficult at times to converse. However, we are willing to put up with that because it is superb in all other aspects.

First time there and it was our 30th anniversary. It was a bit crowded so we were seated quickly but waited a good bit before water arrived. Unclear for a while whether we had a server or not. Then our server came who nicely gave us complimentary prosecco and congratulated us! We are sharers so then ordered a bit of crostini, grilled octopus, arugula salad plus a couple of seafood pasta dishes to share. Server mentioned the Sommelier wine specials so I had the white with our appetizers and the red with the pasta (it was a nebbiolo - pinot noir style). apps and entrees were excellent -- not that thrilled with the wines -- they were ok frankly. I like a heartier red and prob should have selected my own. We ended with very nice desserts - -the budino and Trip to Sicily - pistachio bavarese, dark chocolate, citrus salted caramel. very nice ending to the evening.
