Service and the waitress was very accomodating and helpful. Attention to detail and waitress attentiveness was excellent. I would return when I am back in the area.

We went in at 4:00, past a oyster happy hour sign. Greeter mentioned it, And I asked what it was. She said half price oysters 3-5. Waiter reminded us it was Oyster Happy Hour. We ordered 12 at 4:15, another 7 at 4:30. After beer and a nice conversation with someone at the next table, I paid the bill without looking at the detail and didn't take the detail receipt. After we leftI couldn't make the total add up to what we had unless the oysters were charged full price. Next day I called and a manager checked the receipt, and refunded the overcharge. Very nice of the manager but the waiter's carelessness almost cost us $50, and did cost us a half hour to straighten out the next day.

Reserved at B&G the day before for 5:15pm. Initially, I wanted to book sometime between 6 and 7, but the only openings were 5:15PM and times passed 9PM. Check-in was no problem although we were given lunch menus and had wanted to order the fish & chips that were not included in the dinner menu. In the end, we ordered oysters, clam chowder, a seared salmon entree and their lobster roll. The oysters were great and the rest were good. Although the entrees were cooked very well, I had wish for most of the foods to be a little more flavorful. The salmon and lobster (from the roll) was juicy by was a little bland. The chowder was a bit on the watery side. The staff was great. They were very attentive and checked-in from time to time.

This was our first visit to B & G and we were glad we came - started with oysters - great service by our waiter with suggestions on the oysters and wine. Our main courses were outstanding - I had the swordfish with pesto gnocci on a bed of sweet potato mash. My wife chose the octupus - we were both extremely happy with the choices - we'll be back !

After having not eaten here in years, I was pleasantly surprised to see it hasn’t lost a step. Everything was excellent from beginning to end. Simple, classic, perfectly prepared and flavorful seafood at its best.
