Maine Lobster Roll
french fries, coleslaw, pickles
spicy aioli, lemon
Food was good but not amazing enough for the price. Service wasn’t rude or anything but not the most attentive or welcoming. Would go back again but probably not for a while and probably not until things have normalized a bit more.
What a great outdoor setting, at a peaceful but lively SouthEnd neighborhood.
Foods were good and the Rose Brue was perfect!
Service was professional and excellent as well.
Great service and dining experience.
Very friendly service! We can't wait to go back. Food was delicious!
Great meal with excellent service. Oysters, raw and fried, scallops, and fish ‘n chips were all outstanding and perfectly cooked.
A perfect place for a fall night out. Delicious food, attentive service, and enjoyable setting. The fried oysters and calamari, and of course the lobster roll, were some of the best we've had in Boston!
Great meal, but we had the street seating instead of the regular patio seating, so the ambiance wasn’t quite the same.
This is my favorite restaurant in Boston , the clam chowder is the best I ever had and the selection of oysters is perfect.
As good as could be expected with cars and trucks rolling by on Waltham Street. Food was very good and that's what's most important.
Lovely, quiet, and small South End restaurant. The food is excellent and service friendly and warm.
Good oysters and even better service. Would come back again
Good - expensive, would go again. But my clam chowder tasted way better
B&G Oysters is one our favorite restaurants in Boston. They have maintained the quality and deliciousness of their food through the years. It’s a charming place. During COVID they’ve provided more outdoor seating which was nice. Will always go back! Loved our late lunch just this weekend on Saturday, 9/28/20.
Food and service was outstanding! Due to current conditions dining was “al fresco”, but improvised. On sidewalk, bit of traffic noise, but truly minor. Food and service was as excellent as always, won’t hesitate to return.
Our waiter, Andres, was fabulous! He was extremely attentive and helped us select the best dishes and wine. We felt comfortable dining indoors and felt that all the proper precautions were set in place. You absolutely must order: hamachi crudo, shrimp, oysters, scallops, branzino, lobster roll, and crab cakes!
The best meal I had in Boston! Service was fantastic as well. Highly recommend!
heaters would be nice for outdoor dining. Its getting colder now
Our server was awesome! Super friendly, welcoming, personable and knowledgeable. Thank you!!
The fried oyster appetizer is amazing, as well as the lobster roll. Our server, Hilary is the best!!
There was only 1 red wine offered by the glass at $16.00 per glass, even though the menu listed a few reds by the glass and dozens of red bottle choices. The restaurant should have opened a bottle to offer at least one/two other red wines by the glass with varying price points. At this time understand the need for a trimmed down menu; for what it was it was very uncreative. We expected more from a Barbara Lynch restaurant.
The service there is outstanding and great ambiance for outdoor dining.
Excellent experience! Knowledgeable staff, delicious food, and over all great hospitality!
Great server! Great food! Nice job during Covid with many of the changes restaurants have had to endure. Will definitely come back. Thx
Great delicious fish and very attentive server. Nice atmosphere in the inside patio, heat lamps and all.
Food was top notch. We had the fried oysters, clam chowder, striped bass and scallops.
Always a favorite. Never had a less than fantastic experience and meal. The patio was lovely, the fried clams were amazing and the oysters were spot-on. Completely cravable.
Service was great. Food was overrated, and overpriced
A tasteless lobster roll for 32 bucks? A joke
Food is really good, service is great. Felt a little rushed but that was only bcuz the kitchen was about to close.
Expected to be outside
We were 1 or 3 parties forced inside.
My server, Hillary was and always is a fantasy waitress.
Oyster and seafood tower was phenomenal. Soft shell crab sliders and lobster roll were average and small portioned. Service was friendly but not too attentive. Outdoor seating was lovely due to the nice weather.
Great service and food - but got a bad oyster
The staff are great. There are better value seafood towers in town.
Just the most wonderful experience! So glad we got to go back before we move away from Boston. Service was exceptional and cheery. I asked for a modification to be made to my food and it was done no problem and it was delicious!
Fantastic seafood great wine list
Very good experience. Fantastic service. Loved the menu again. Felt like they took covid precautions seriously
Inventive food but not fussy. Just amazing flavor. Waiter was really incredible sensitive around the Covid issues just stellar really
We had such a romantic dinner at B&G. We especially want to thank the hostess that was working the evening of our dinner. She was so accommodating and helpful when it came to our reservations. Both the food and wine we’re fantastic. Looking forward to making this a regular date spot.
The BEST restaurant in Boston!!!!!!!!!! You should try everything because literally everything is good.
