B&B Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
One of the top three dining experiences I have ever had! An amazing little place with an amazing staff and even more amazing food! An absolute pleasure from beginning to end. The staff was on top of it all! They knew and expressed knowledge in all aspects of their menu and described, in detail, the preparation of each dish...to include where each plate originated from in Italy. Truly an incredible experience!
Really great meal, very engaged and knowledgeable service. Food was fantastic, and would recommend the pasta tasting menu and wine flight. Only negative was on physical comfort: Restaurant was a kinda hot, and we were seated close to other tables when well spaced tables were available all evening (it gave for Amazingly hilarious eavesdropping though).
This is our second time to B&B and like others have posted its pricey to start, but as they say you get what you pay for. We started with the grilled octopus, very tender and nicely flavored, we then had the pasta course, small ravioli with a chestnut and soft cheese filling with a butter sauce, very flavorful taste of the fall. We split the Rib-eye for two. The balsamic glaze is amazing and the steak was done perfectly. The Chef added some white truffles to the fingerling potatoes, which was also yum. We finished with the house Lemon Cello and some pumpkin gelato. The service, warm bread, dipping oils, vinegar and wine were all excellent.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! I had the finest service I have ever received at any restaurant in the world. The staff are amazing and made us feel very special and catered for our every need. The food was amazing and it was an all round fantastic experience dining here.
I was expecting Babbo NYC and unfortunatly did not get it. Good not great. Small portions, pasta was OK, Steak ordered med rare came med well and over cooked, $55 Veal chop had good flavor, but significant amount of fat leaving just a few bites of meat, over priced for what you get, final bill was $550 for two, nothing unique enough to justify going again. Had to ask the Waitress to slow down, they rushed us, she sold the specials and describe the dishes like a robot, which felt scripted and inauthentic. Wine Som deserves credit. He was very good and steered us to a nice bottle off the menu. There is better Italian to be found at far lower prices
I go here every year at least once and I look forward to it. The service is great and the food superb. I like the all-Italian wine list and I am not a big Italian wine drinker. Had the Octopus and pasta with Lobster. It was great. Thanks to BnB and I will look forward to my next visit.
It's good, just not as good as you would think with the names on the restaurant. Some dishes were gorgeous (the "pyramids" pasta in particular). Others fell extremely flat, like a beef cheek ravioli with black truffle shavings so dry they had the texture of wood chips. In all, it's good, but it clearly rests on its laurels far too much.
Would have given it 5 stars but we had a business dinner with a group of 5 in a corner booth. The music was so loud it was difficult to talk. Heavy metal music in an italian restaurant just didn't seem to fit. I realize its part of the chef's image but it made for difficult conversation. We asked twice to lower the volume or at least change the station neither were accommodated. A high energy place with great food and service but not necessarily appropriate for business dinners.
Excellent service and tasty food, but as I wasn't blown away by anything, I would say that the value was okay. Also, limited options for vegetarians, although they did offer to make the pasta from the tasting menu as an a la carte meal. Waiter was attentive, professional and gave great advice about the food.
Just like Mario Batali's Babbo restaurant in New York, the food here is excellent. However, the ambiance is nothing like Babbo. The restaurant is loud and the service is rushed. Our waiter seemed uninterested in our table once we said we didn't want wine or the tasting menu.
Loved my first experience in 2013. Our pasta was perfect and delicious. This time not so much. My spaghetti with lobster was nothing special, predictable sauce and the lobster was chewy and stringy. My Mom's gnocchi was mushy and tasteless. Our starters were a bit better. Calamari good and crispy. I had a good green salad. But nothing was outstanding.
What a fantastic meal and a wonderful dining experience! I usually enjoy coming here and having some Vino and apps at the bar - The service and conversation is always very enjoyable. With a friend in town we had seating in the wine room. We enjoyed fabulous apps including the homemade Salumi and barata - followed by a wonderful homemade pasta filled with goat cheese. We enjoyed the short rib for dinner and it was heavenly. The wine the Som recommended was delicious and affordable. Our service was excellent and we had a 3 1/2 hour meal experience to catch up. I can’t wait to go back again !!!
First the positives: Great Service. Excellent dessert.
Negatives: For a restaurant that carries the Batali name, this was a total disappointment. Flavors were insipid, tomatoes in the Burrata tasted like the restaurant did not care about where its produce came from. The Lamb Ragu tasted better sopped up with the bread than with the cavatelli and the chicken was chewy.
I always like Batali , been to all his restaurant in LA
Unfortunately we had a bad experience in LV , the food was all salty except for the Branzino , we have to return the rabbit porchetta ad it was so dry and salty and yet they charged us ! The dessert were good , good collection of wine but quite dissapointed with the food ! I guess being LV that the prices are way overboard !
I enjoy the B+B for its Italian dishes. The Black Spaghetti is my favorite - really different, spicy pesto sauce. House Cured Salumi is great for starters, and the Rabbit Porchetta is also a treat.
If in Vegas by yourself - dinner and drinks at the bar is a pleasant way to enjoy a meal.
I understand it’s a fine dining experience but you pay way too much for such little food. Service is outstanding but I have been to other Italian restaurants with much better food and better sized portions for less money (all while having the same quality of service). If you are looking for a fine dining experience you are better off going to Il Mulino at Caesar’s Palace for a nice Italian dinner.
Disappointed. Ordered the Veal Chop and it was full of fat. The steak knife was dull and it was difficult to even cut the meat. Staff and management were very apologetic and they let me order something else. Had the short rib which was just ok, a bit on the dry side. The Zucchini Fritti were excellent though.
