B&B Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
The service was quite good, but that's it. Food was ridiculously expensive and had either very little flavor or was actually rather unpleasant. I had the chicken salad as a main dish and the salad was bitter and chicken without flavor. We had two appetizers - ravioli & ground meet with Penn - and both were barely seasoned while costing $25 each. I would not go here again if someone else paid the bill.
In the past I've visited this restaurant many time but will not do so again because I am so disappointed that Mario is no longer connected to B & B. Yes I know what he did but it is very extreme that he is out of his restaurants. That is not what happens in this country to someone who has not been charged with a crime which Mario has not.
The dining experience was very nice. The food was very good, the service was great, but I was really bothered by something in the dining area. A couple of tables away was a family. They had their dog with them. The dog was small but it was sitting ON The bench seating. It wasn’t in a carrier, it wasn’t on the persons lap , it was sitting on the same furniture that the next person would sit on. But what made me decide I would never go back to this restaurant was when the owner picked up a glass of ice water and gave the dog a long drink! I’m sorry! I love dogs but I don’t want to get that glass after the dog drank from it!! That is repulsive to me. It really affected my review of this otherwise lovely, expensive dinner! I would not go back!
Absolutely terrible spent New Year's Eve with wife and friends and this place "fumbled the ball". Service was actually decent but good was bad and overpriced!! Grilled octopus is all I'll say was good. But my night was terrible because B&B
The food was overpriced. The appetizers were good, the entrees were weak, they mistimed our meal and the entrees came out cold. We tried the short rib which was very tender but a bit dry, the polenta was nondescript, dish could have used a sauce. The pastas were ok, beef cheek raviolis over-sauced and lacking in presentation. Side of Brussel sprouts might have been the best dish. We didn't bother with dessert. We dined rather late so there weren't many diners, no excuse for cold food. Portions were fine. I believe they were training our waitperson, which was fine but he had a hard time describing the menu resorting to words like very good, taste is good, nebulous terms. But he was friendly and fairly attentive. Don't think I would dine there again.
Fantastic food, fantastic service! We typically do 1 splurge dinner while in Vegas and this did not disappoint!! Excellent tasting menu and very knowledgeable server to walk us through. Entire serving staff could not have been better or more attentive. Great cozy atmosphere and loved the fun music. Very impressed.
Not a great experience. The place looked like it was a fine upscale dining experience, music was heavy metal at times which I know was suppose to be a nod to Vegas but seriously it was a fail. You can't try to put on a nice dinner experience with that kind of music then charge an exorbitant amount for pasta Absolutely nothing special about the whole experience. I take that back, the server was great. But seriously save your money eat at Bouchon instead when everything has been thought out and carried out to a T
Both the food and service were spectacular! The pasta dish with rabbit and hen of the woods mushrooms probably was my most favorite of the three courses I had. Would highly recommend the two minute spicy calamari as well. Great choice of wines by the glass since I drank white and my husband drank red wine that evening. I like that they asked if we were planning to see a show or if we had any kind of time constraint. We did not and I was certainly glad we could relax and enjoy!
In Las Vegas it can be hard to find both great food and good service, that's not in an overwhelming noisy environment . This is it! It was a Saturday night and we were able to get last minute reservations, which can be a bad sign, but everything was great! It's located near the Canal Shoppes in the Venetian, and just enough out of the fray that you get the combination of quite, convenient, last-minute availability, and a great dining experience. Highly recommend!
First, do not leave without trying the grilled octopus. It is the best octopus I have had. We also had the pasta tasting menu, which was excellent but very filling. Make sure you are hungry for this. It is incredibly satisfying. I also recommend the bacon old fashioned.
We did not initially plan to eat here. We ended up here after having a fabulous lunch at Bastianich and Batali's OTTO Enoteca e Pizzera. We knew that we just had to try B &B Ristorante. Upon being seated we were brought a complimentary chic pea crostini which was really tasty. For the appetizer we ordered the calamari. It was the best calamari I've had outside of Italy. It was a bit on the spicy side which is perfect for me but if spicy isn't your thing you might ask if the chef would be willing to accommodate. Next we split an order of Bavette Cacio e Pepe (cheese and pepper pasta). This humble Italian staple is so simple yet out of this world delicious. We've not been able to find a decent version of this dish outside of Italy until we dined here. Don't judge this dish by it's less than impressive appearance. It is a must try!!! For the main course I ordered the rabbit which was stunning but oh boy... the braised short rib which my wife ordered was the absolute best thing to hit my taste buds during our entire stay in Las Vegas. I had the Chiati which was recommended by our server and my wife had a cocktail. Both were spectacular. Service was wonderful. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. I have one complaint and one only.... it's that we were too full for dessert. This was without question the best meal of our stay!!!!! Without question!!!!! It is expensive but it is fine dining. If you're looking for a cheap meal this is not your place. If you're willing to pay for excellent food and service in the fine dining category I highly recommend B & B Ristorante. We would definitely return.
Where to begin. Must admit I’m a long time fan, a must visit every LV trip. The staff are more than welcoming and attentive. The scene is comfortable and accommodating and warm. Started w favorites, best grilled octopus, tender, citrus splash, black spaghetti, pasta well prepared, spicy, delicious, veal chop, perfecto grilled, choice cut, beef cheek ravioli, tender pillows of savory beef flavor in gorgeous pasta, then tried new the truffle topped lamp, best prepared lamb I’ve ever eaten and finally chestnut ravioli topped w white truffle. This was the best experience I’ve had there....again.
We were going to a show at the Pallazzo in Las Vegas and my son suggested trying this non traditional Italian restaurant. Wow were we ever surprised at the menu, the wine list, and the service all in a good way. We highly recommend B & B as we will make sure to visit it again on our next trip to Vegas. Everything is homemade and first class.
Enjoyed every aspect of this meal. Food was phenomenal, server & sommelier were out of this world, and we found some beautiful Italian wines that are pretty much unavailable anywhere else in the states. Highest praises for chef and his fantastic sous chef. My date and I were still talking about the meal two days later- memorable in the most positive way.
Had an early dinner prior to seeing a show. A fun mix of apps and a pasta that we shared. Octopus, lamb, rabbit and squid ink pasta. Enjoyed all of it and cane back later for dessert of cannoli (good) and biscotti (nothing memorable and tiny slices). Our second visit and would return to try some other dishes
