B&B Burger and Beer - Las Vegas - Permanently Closed Ratings and Reviews
Terrible service. Over 20 minutes no server came to the table and the place was empty. Flagged down a waitress passing by who had another section, and another 10 minutes before server showed. Very unpersonable opens with "what do you want to order". Food was subpar for the price, no dressing on Cobb salad, wing sauce just pure heat with pathetic wilted shavings of celery. Burger was gross, blend of meat tasted bad. Did not finish wings because mouth was on fire and no server in sight for 30 minutes to get a glass of water. Couple sat down at next table, looked bewildered and asked me if they were supposed to put the order in at counter...? I replied no service just that terrible. Another table adjacent of drunk middle aged adults dropped glass shattering on floor, laughing, server eventually picked up only large pieces of glass. Got the manager who said meal would be taken care of, server STILL did not come over at that point, still nothing to drink, we walked out.
Loved the food, service, portion and quality of food. Very easy to make reservations on phone day of service. The music was very loud and not pleasant. I enjoy music and wish a different style was played. Not just the oldies but current music is very enjoyable. You may want to do sider this in the future.
Not exactly what we expected. Food was decent although one of our orders was completely wrong. Even when fixed, that order was so so. My burger was excellent, but the bad service...staff was pretty young so that may have been the problem...terrible cheesey pop music blasting, and poor service made this a one time visit for us.
We were there Aug 1st. I was amazed and so thankful that our server was very knowledgeable of allergies. I ordered what I wanted and immediately informed our waiter I had a severe peanut/tree nut allergy. Before I could tell him that I also had a mild sesame allergy he right away said "I'll have them switch your burger bun to a potato bun since it has sesame seeds on top." I have never been treated which such care and taken seriously about my allergies like I was here.
At 24 It's still scary going out to eat and having to take an epi pen with me with the worry of a restaurant just thinking that "I'm being picky" and still serving me a meal with my allergens.
I wrote a note to the manager and hope our waiter got recognized for his amazing customer service. Thank you!
Made a reservation well in advance of arrival time, but based on occupancy a reservation probably wasn't needed. My dinner guest and I waited over 20 minutes for a staff member to make contact with us, but no one did. Ended up leaving after waiting 20 minutes and went to B&B Ristorante, owned by the same management group. The experience there couldn't have been better. Do not waste your time going to B&B Burgers and Beer; head directly to B&B Ristorante instead!
BEST BURGER EVER! What this restaurant lacks in ambiance it makes up for in food quality and preparation. I feel like it is a bit hidden and not as well individually advertised as the other Batali restaurants. But boy, the food was amazing. Honestly, we were a party of 8 and everyone tried a different burger - all fabulous! Really enjoyed the tater tots as a variation from the traditional French fry.
Ten of us colleagues had lunch outside here on a Friday after running our company conference all week. We had a really relaxing time and a great table under the patio roof, in the shade under the fans and misters. We had a view of the canal and all the people watching you can get in Vegas. The menu was good with lots of options for hamburgers, but no veggie burgers. We had three vegetarians/vegans among us, and they were very happy with their salads and fries. Be warned when you order the fries, though! The serving is plenty for at least two people. Lots of beers to choose from and they came to the table ice cold! The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because our service was very slow. Other than that, we enjoyed this moment in Vegas in the fresh air.
Our group was a party of 8 and we had reservations at 7pm. We were seated immediately (on Saturday night) and our service was good. Everyone enjoyed their food. The burgers were good as were the sandwiches. My only negative was I thought the fries were a little too greasy. That was my personal opinion most at the table enjoyed them.
I have no idea why Mario Batali would put his name on this restaurant. It is in the Venetian Hotel but is not more than a hash house. OK for a quick bite if you are not particular about your dining experience. Beer selection was only mediocre, spinach salad was good, fries (extra charge) were OK and burger was nothing special.....my medium was undercooked. There are better burgers to be had in LV.......look for someplace else.
I was a little underwhelmed by the menu options with such big names attached to the restaurant. There was no hostess up front and it took around 5 minutes for a sever to come over and seat us. We never saw the hostess upfront the entire time we were there. We sat on the patio with a lovely view of the front of the Venetian and the boats. I was surprised how few people were there for a Saturday evening, it was nearly empty. Service was okay and same with food. It's hard to mess up a burger. The prices were reasonable. Would eat there again but will not enter with such high expectations.
The service was atrocious. We waited 15-20 minutes after being seated to put in our drink order, another 15 minutes after that to put in our food order. The food didn't come out for 30-40 minutes after we put in the order. Additionally, in my meal, despite showing *nothing* on the menu about horseradish, there was horseradish in everything - bbq sauce, on the burger, in the caesar salad dressing. I do not like horseradish, but there was no indication that it was in these menu items at all. I couldn't even bother mentioning this to the waitress because I was at a business lunch and the wait for the first attempt at the food was already ridiculously long.
