I have been coming here for 20 + years. This is the first time I had been not impressed with the food. I normally always get one of the specials and they only had a few on the list. The bar is closed to patrons which seems odd to me since everywhere you go for fine dining all of them are open. Part of the experience is getting a drink at their cozy bar and then be seated at your table. The waitstaff was attentive but the food was just okay this time. Hopefully it was just an off night.

A nice New Year’s Day dinner before the young adults returned to NYC and LA. Cosmo was delicious! Caesar salads also the best. Pasta entrees delicious! Always fabulous and a favorite!
Booked a table for New Year’s Eve dinner. Once we were sat, we realized that a large portion of their online menu was not available. (Example: only 2 of 9 appetizers were available) We understand that there could have been supply issues or limited for the holiday, but wish it had been posted that they were serving a limited menu. Our party had been looking forward to our entree selections that were not available. Service and food order was good, but the experience was a bit of a let down.

We requested and were given a table near the fireplace. Because it was a weeknight, it was fairly quiet and we were able to talk without a lot of surrounding noises. All of us enjoyed our drinks and dinner and our waitress did a really good job of staying on top of our needs.

Haven’t been in several years. The last time was near the holiday season on a Saturday night and it was so noisy we had to move to another table. This time was much quieter and enjoyable. I ordered the Linguine Pescatore, which is one of my Italian favorites. Azzurro’s version was outstanding. It was so loaded with seafood that I couldn’t even finish it. Our waitress Kinzie was very attentive and accommodating. We will definitely have to go back.

Good food, service and pleasant surroundings. The staff were working their tails off, and the manager was actively supporting staff and managing. It’s nice to see the manager on the floor helping out.

Great food terrific ambiance but the service was just fair. Don’t know if they were short staffed or not. But I will continue to go there because it is one of the finest restaurants in Richmond!
Our server Evan was great and the food was outstanding.
We had requested a specific table, waited an extra 10 minutes past our reservation time and were not seated at the requested table. Our table was given to a party that arrived after we did who did not have a reservation.The restaurant was not busy as it was 8:45 by this time. We ordered an appetizer. The server returned to our table and took our salad and dinner order. The salad arrived before the appetizer which we had ordered first. We began eating it. Two minutes later our appetizer arrived. Our appetizer became cold while we were trying to hurry and finish our salads. We were never offered appetizer plates, Salad plates remained on table as we attempted to share our appetizer without dishes. Dinner arrived. Salad and appetizer plates were finally cleared by other waitstaff. Quality of food was good, but overall not our best experience at this restaurant.
The food was underwhelming and definitely not traditional Italian. Prices do not match the quality of the food. Service was good.
We had a great time! Our server was great too. The lasagna was out of this world. Our drinks and food came out with perfect timing. It got pretty loud in there but it was a Saturday night.

My son took a date to Azzurros for homecoming. He is allergic to eggs. The staff was so kind. The chef wrote a list of items that contained eggs so that my son could safely choose an entree.
Everything was excellent, and the gluten free meal I had was delicious.
The only complaint is the acoustics. One table of diners was very loud, and they were in the middle of the restaurant, but we could still hear them very well.
The whole house provided exceptional service to our party for a wonder dining experience.

Off night. Server just forgot about us. One hour from the time we were seated to the time he took our order. In all, it took more than two hours for a one-course meal.
Our experience was fantastic. We were greeted and seated by David, the owner, who paid special attention to my advance seating request. I am immunocompromised and his interest in our being comfortable was most appreciated. Our meals were delicious and the service was Top Notch. It was a great evening.
