I’ve been twice before and wanted to take my family there for my birthday. It was sort of sad because we learned that they were closing the next day for good. The food was good but I felt one or two things looked as if they were using items they had and didn’t want to order more. The fish was very good. The server was very good.
Went there for a first date and the service was exceptional from the valet services to the dinner to the chocolates. It was beautiful, elegant, and the vibe around made for a good romantic first date dinner.
If you really want to have a great breakfast have the Atlantic. Everything will be cooked perfectly. And when you leave you will be full.
Highly recommend. Nice and quiet, menu is seasonal, and service is wonderful.
Wonderful meal!! Beautiful atmosphere and excellent service!
We had the Adventurous Menu with wine pairing and it was fantastic. The waiter explained each course and the reason for pairing it with the selected wine. The chef also came out to visit and discuss what he had prepared. The chef had previously called us at home to see if there was anything we would like to avoid. Their regular menu is excellent but if you would really like a special occasion treat we recommend the Adventurous Menu.
Our waiter was outstanding, food delicious and they accommodated my gluten/dairy allergy beautifully!
I always have a great experience whenever I dine at One Ocean. Great staff and food
Amazing service and excellent food. Perfect date night
Server was excellent. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Lovely setting despite the bad weather. Food was very good. Crab cake and octopus appetizers excellent. I had the fresh catch 3 ways and it was excellent. My wife had the mahi-mahi. She enjoyed it but the topping was sweeter than expected. I had the pear crostata for dessert. It was a disappointment. Very dry and lacking flavor. Could not taste pear in the filling.
The food was very good! I would recommend trying their seafood selections. The salads were all made from local farms and there was a wide variety of items to choose from. Service was a little slow at first but then got better quickly. All staff seemed to be well trained on everything. Drinks from the bar were also very good!
It was our first night in Jacksonville with my brother in law and his wife and we wanted a special night out. It was wonderful!
Our waitress (Anita??) was amazing with her wine recommendations.
Great bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s !! Food was great as well
Birthday; I made reservations well in advance; we were seated at the front entrance very noisy; there were open tables around ; hated where we sat
Food service excellent
The complete dinner was great. The wine pairing was spot on
The food was quite tasty, the service was outstanding, but the overall cost was astronomical for what we were getting.
Valentines dinner. We were guests at the hotel. There was a set menu. It was a lot of food. My only complaint was that it was so much food, 5 courses, and it was too much for me. I would have liked to have been able to order from a standard menu.
Best meal I've ever had in a restaurant. It was delicious, portion sizes were just right for our multi course meal. A little bit pricy, but as a special occasion, it was extremely enjoyable and worth it.
Impressive & unusual entrance with most booths/ tables giving a view of the dunes. Unfortunately, you can’t see the ocean but restaurant has a nice vibe. We were there for lunch on Valentine’s Day. Tables were decorated with a single rose. No special during the day but I knew going in it was only a V Day dinner prix Fix. Our server was a little inexperienced. the place has a Sophisticated vibe I was expecting more professional/ experienced wait staff. My husband had a cocktail of Bourbon and had cranberries in it I’m sorry I don’t remember the name he said it was very good. I had heard that they had good cocktails there and suggested he choose one from the menu. He was not disappointed. I choose my wine by the glass and Perhaps this wasn’t a great choice if you’re going to have more than one glass. The wine by the glass was $16 so it actually makes sense to order a bottle if you’re going to have two or three glasses. My cheese plate was Very good they were only four choices of cheeses which was a little disappointing. The cheese plate was served with Currents, Marcona almonds, fresh Raspberries and blackberries garnished by 2 orchids. It made a nice Presentation. It made up for the mistake that the kitchen made in my cheese selection. I do not like brie cheese and made sure I did not choose that one. When the cheese plate came out I immediately saw that it had brie on it. I told the waitress and no problem she took it back when she came back she told me the chef said it was not Brie. I tasted it & sure enough it was! I was surprised a chef could make a mistake like that. I know my cheeses very well. They took it back again and exchanged it with a different cheese. Overall this is a nice place to go for drinks and a light bite. We definitely will try it again but maybe this time just go to the bar and enjoy a cocktail overlooking the dunes
Don't miss it!
Went for my sister and brother-in-laws anniversary -we were extremely pleased with food and service,we dine there a couple times a year it has never disappointed us-Always a wonderful evening-Thanks
Good food,good service,good prices,good ambience.
We visited Azurea for our one year wedding anniversary. Excellent service and the food was just incredible. We felt like we were the only couple in the restaurant and all other food tastes dull now after experiencing Azurea’s exquisite entrees and appetizers. Best restaurant we’ve tried in Jacksonville, hands down.
First time at your establishment, enjoyed the visit. Food was outstanding but I think about 3 or 4 entree’s would be advisable.
Everyone we encountered was social and professional. Only real complaint, it was noisy sitting at a table. Loved my birthday
Dessert, thank you.
Disappointed after reading reviews. Restaurant itself was COLD. Spreads with bread service were uninteresting. Entrees were good. Deserts were also uninteresting. Service was spotty. Friendly but long stretches were served was no where to be found on a slow night.
Excellent food, drink and service was outstanding! Will be going back.
Excellent food and service!
Food is fantastic every time we dine here. Service was great.
Wonderful experience with our family. Lots of special attention by Turner. We loved our bread and spreads. The Cobia, Seabass and Ahi tuna were delicious. Loved the martinis and homemade truffles.
Our server Anita was exceptional. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu as well as the cocktail selections, We appreciate that she made our son’s graduation celebration extra special.
We went there for my husband's birthday. I was an absolutely wonderful experience. Strangely to say it started with the bread, which was warm, homemade and came in 4 different varieties, and was to die for. They had a great selection of excellent wines. Our waitress, Hannah W. could not have been more perfect. The meal itself was delicious, and the dessert out of this world. Great ambiance. It made for a truly special evening. We will be back!
My husband, two adult children and myself had afternoon tea the day after Christmas. It was very quiet, only four tables taken, so I was a little worried it wasn't going to be good. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food (numerous tea sandwiches, scones and multiple desserts), as well as a glass of proseco and tea (five options to choose from), were very good. And the service was also quite good. I hope to make this a new family tradition.
Although we had reservations, when we arrived, our table was not ready. No big deal because this does happen at most restaurants. However it took our waiter quite some time before he approached our table and even longer to take our drink orders and finally when he took our appetizer and entree orders, it took more than 50 minutes for our entrees to arrive. When they finally did, the dishes were so hot you could not touch them but the two prime ribs were cold and the two fish dishes were dried out. This was our first time and all four of us were not at all impressed and will not return there again. Outrageously priced for the quality of food and service. We are extremely disappointed, to say the least.
Upon entering we were greeted by the host who escorted us to out booth. It was a very comfortable setting. I can't comment on the view, as it was dark. Hannah was our server and she was very friendly, accommodating and professional. We ordered glasses of wine to begin our evening. We began our meal with the Berkshire Pork Belly appetizer. This had a wonderful flavor and was a good non filling starter which we shared. For dinner we had the Hudson Valley Duck Duo and the Local Catch Trio. Both were created having very enticing flavors and were plated to create visual stimulation. The meal and service were worth the price.
We have been going to Azurea many times in the past few years. The best thing about them is that the food is consistently good. We have never had a meal we didn't like.
Excellent dinner and great friendly service
We were very excited to eat here on Christmas Day. I had the prime rib, which was cooked over-done and nearly impossible to cut. The service was excellent, unfortunately the food was not.
We went for Christmas lunch. I chose the sea bass and the portion was very small for the price. Presentation of a $12.00 Caesar salad was lovely but dressing and balance were poor. Our server was excellent. My mate ordered the cauliflower steak but it was lacking in flavor. I LOVE great food and don’t mind paying for it. This was very overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. Overall, disappointing.
I will not be back.
Food does not taste good at all, we were four people and none of us liked the food.
