Located along the Chicago river in the burgeoning Goose Island neighborhood, Azul is an upscale mariscos (seafood) restaurant serving an expansive menu of Latin-inspired fare. The concept aims to combine the ethos of an authentic mariscos restaurant with modern hospitality practices and all the touches of a sophisticated, lively spot.

Celebrating the rich flavors and fresh ingredients of Latin culinary culture, Azul’s chef-driven menu is brimming with refined representations of classic mariscos cuisine. The food is overpriced but is was a great experience. FYI ….. the valet guy should probably dress a little different it’s kind intimidating and not welcoming at all.

The food is some of the best I've ever had. The vibe is party and drink. Service was basically non-existent. Reservation almost didn't help get us seated so I was quite disappointed. A touch overpriced but the food is so good its worth any headache.

Good needed more flavor, we ordered shrimp ceviche but had no flavor it was a plane taste. I ordered langostinos but the lemon they used tasted like burn way too sour .

AZUL is a gots-to-try restaurant. Very intimate and chilled. The staff was fun and inviting. This will be a nice spot to have a birthday party, baby shower, girls/boys night out, etc…. Drinks were good and the tacos were flavorful. Will be back.
