The restaurant service and cuisine is outstanding one of the best if not the best restaurant in El Salvador. The host lady is amazing she really makes a difference and is doing everything. Please change the big TV behind the bar and place your logo there same size or more variety of tequilas to display there last night there were some ballon images there it killed the ambience, there is no music on that side of the restaurant it feels kinda dead anybody can hear your conversations it just doesn’t fit the elegance and sexiness of the restaurant. Get valet parking there was an event we were the very first to arrive and it was already all taken by the invitations or vips valet parking adds up the upscale experience you want to deliver. El ambiente es bastante agradable y tranquilo. La ambientación del lugar es muy bonita. De entrada pedimos un ceviche de 3 mariscos pero le faltaba sabor. Los platos fuertes estuvieron deliciosos! Pedimos pulpo y pesca del dia y ambos platos si estaban riquísimos. El pan de elote es muy delicioso también.

Service is outstanding and food was good. Ambiance, especially music, can improve being a Mexican restaurant. My opinion is that it is a little overpriced.

During my visit to El Salvador from New York, I had the pleasure of dining at Azteca, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and stylish yet authentic Mexican decor set the tone for a great evening. The space feels modern while still embracing the warmth and vibrancy of Mexican culture. I started with the Aguachile de Atún, which was incredibly fresh, well-balanced, and packed with just the right amount of spice. For my main course, I had the Medallones de Costilla de Res, which were perfectly cooked and full of rich, deep flavors. To accompany the meal, I ordered a bottle of red wine, and the bartender was extremely knowledgeable in helping me select the perfect pairing. As a New Yorker who enjoys a good cocktail, I can confidently say that Azteca’s cocktails are excellent—expertly crafted and truly impressive. One of the highlights of my visit was meeting the owners. The restaurant is family-run, with a talented chef bringing authentic flavors to the kitchen and two brothers ensuring everything runs smoothly in the front of the house. Their warmth, hospitality, and passion for the restaurant were evident, making the dining experience even more special. Azteca is a must-visit in San Salvador—whether you’re a local or just passing through. The combination of exceptional food, expertly made drinks, and a welcoming, family-driven atmosphere makes it a place I’ll definitely return to on my next trip. Highly recommend!

The owners were very welcoming, the food was amazing and the drinks were so delicious. We will definitely be back before the end of our trip. The prices are like the prices out in LA so a bit pricier but totally worth it.
