We had an excellent first experience at Aziza. First off, we were celebrating my wife's birthday and they sat us in a nice area off to the side of the restaurant that was super cozy and intimate and perfect for our group of 5. Everything we had from the hummus to the tender lamb shank was terrific. Drinks too! And be ready to consume delicious housemade breads of all different varieties because that is certainly one of the highlights. My sister-in-law had some dietary restrictions that they were very accommodating for in a way that was above and beyond what I've seen most restaurants do. Wait staff also was attentive and there when we needed but never felt like anyone was hovering or pushy at all. I should mention, most of our guests have either lived in, were born in or have traveled to Israel and all were impressed by the reinvention of flavors that are familiar to us but in an exciting manner that'll have us coming back as soon as possible.
Great food! Everything we ordered was delicious!!!! I would specify dishes, but why! Everything we ordered, and we ordered a lot, was delicious!!! Service was also great and waitress was super friendly. We will be back!
We loved the Kubaneh with the shug. The bread was so buttery, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My husband also loved the octopus. We was amazed that he could cut the soft octopus with his fork. The oxtail with the apricot was delish, however, we felt that the hummus was bland and could have used some Maldon salt.
Chef Brandon Hughes has created an amazing menu at Aziza. The oxtail hummus, lamb tartar, and duck were our favorites!! Highly recommend this place.
Great spot. Yummy food and drinks. Friendly helpful service. A bit pricey.
Dined with a group on NYE. Service was a little slow, but we were happy to take our time so it didn’t bother us until we needed something and server was unavailable. Did not receive champagne toast as advertised with prefix NYE menu but we also left before midnight. Food was excellent per usual.
Love coming to Aziza, professional staff, food on point, unique cocktails. Thanks for providing a great dining experience for Atlantans.
Wonderful! Food is creative and fabulous. Good wine selection and interesting cocktails.
My second delicious dinner at Aziza. From the eggplant appetizer and Kubaneh to the doughnuts, we loved everything.
Post Christmas meal with son and his fiancé.
Absolutely shockingly delicious! The vibe is awesome, service was perfect, friendly but fine. Kitchen is super clean and a joy to just watch. Food was incredible, honestly can’t wait to go back.
This was a dining experience! The food was incredible- we did the tasting experience, which was an amazing deal and almost too much food if anything. Everything we had was amazing, but my husband and i agreed that the biggest standouts were the veal sweetbreads, the kubaneh, and the prawns over falafel toast. The ambiance was beautiful and felt very authentic to the food. Vanessa, our server, was so nice and attentive and had the best recommendations- we will definitely be back!
Food was delicious!! Server had helpful recommendations. Beautiful restaurant.
Everything was delicious. We will be back.
Best restaurant in Atlanta and on par with best in New York.
Food was delicious! Service was less to be desired
The food is amazing. Cocktails are amazing. Service left something to be desired. To be frank, the price point is a little high.
Went with family for an early dinner, the food was delicious! Did the tasting menu so we were able to share and nibble. We will defiantly return!
The menu is unusual for an "Israeli" restaurant and I've dined at many Israeli restaurants in the US and Israel. I love experimenting with new restaurants and new types and approaches to food. In this situation I rely on waitstaff to be more tour guide. Our waitress provided poor direction and suggested too many dishes to run up a big bill. The value proposition simply wasn't there.
While the food was not bad, it did not have the fresh flavors that middle east is known for. There was a distinct lack of garlic and lemon. The food also suffered from a chef who thought he could make a great dish better, while loosing the essence of the dish. I would not go back.
Great service, amazing atmosphere, exceptional food, highly recommended!!!
Really great addition to West Midtown.
My server Vanessa was awesome.
We started with the bread service and the bread was amazing, we also had the braised oxtail hummus which was okay 👌🏾, I did not care for the butternut squash dish w/ Greek yogurt, throughly enjoyed the lamb shank so good and perfect to share for 2. Dessert was good, I really liked the Turkish coffee ice cream!
Great food and wonderful service!
Birthday dinner that never got addressed appropriately, despite being on the reservation. Alongside, a passive aggressive server who was terrible and had very little knowledge as to the items on the menu. Being sassy and rude during a birthday dinner is disrespectful and uncalled for, especially for a restaurant that is supposed to be upscale.
The food was amazing , the whole experience , will be back soon
The food was simply outstanding! Creative, tasty, and delicious. Wine was also superlative. The only negative was the acoustics - very loud. But the food was so superlative that tolerating the noise is well worth it.
I was very excited to try Aziza, having heard the buzz. Unfortunately my wife wasn’t feeling well so we weren’t able to sample as many dishes as I’d have liked to, but we had the kubaneh (bread), roasted eggplant, and the duck confit. The kubaneh was tasty though straightforward, and I’m not sure it was worth $8. Having ordered a bread, we opted against a hummus, which would have come with laffa. The eggplant was delicious and beautifully presented. I picked the duck because of the accompanying mujadara—the latter bested the duck, which while perfectly cooked was just not super flavorful. For dessert I had the honey apple konafi—I was not expecting mozzarella cheese but it worked! And I enjoyed the old fashioned with coffee bitters and cardamom.
Service was a little inattentive for the price point, even though the restaurant wasn’t full.
I really want to go back and try more dishes with a larger group, which would make that easier.
Room is beautiful. Seeing into the kitchen was great. The food was gorgeous and tasty. The desserts blew my mind! Would definitely come back. The service was excellent she was helpful and sweet.
The Good: The server greeted us with champagne for our anniversary. Food was delicious and unique
Not so Good: Portion of Octopus dish was meager. The server was rushing us too much. She took the champagne even before we took our last sip and same with the food. It almost felt like she was waiting for us to take the last bite :) Woodfire oven made this place bit smokey and we could feel our eyes burning.
Excellent food and great ambience. I had so much fun that somehow I left my wallet. They tracked me down in less than 10 minutes after I left. Now that’s great service.
The food was exceptional: interesting and well presented.
So good we made another reservation immediately so we could bring others!
The food was amazing- beyond our expectations. Dined there for a girls night out, and had great cocktails and small plates. We didn’t even have room to order one of the delicious looking entrees, but I can’t wait to next time we go. I would have more pictures but we devoured the food the second it hit the table it was so good.
AZIZA was nothing short of AMAZING! We were a group of 6, so I had the opportunity to taste many different menu items. Absolutely every item we ordered was excellent. I cannot wait to go back very soon.
This was our second visit and we had a large group with a few dietary restrictions between us. The service was excellent, and the team accommodated everything so well. We had the steaks and it came with the most gorgeous spread of vegetables I’ve ever seen. We also loved the octopus and hummus. The hummus with oxtail is particularly good. We were so full, we had to have dessert packed up to take home with the leftovers.
We had an overall great experience at Aziza. The food was different than the usual fare and unique in Atlanta. The portions are large. This is a great place To go with the group and share all the items. The breads are all delicious and freshly made! I really liked the shrimp entrée as well as the lamb shank. Our group really pretty much enjoyed everything. We will return!
We went on a Monday evening and it was mostly empty. The space is well lit. The space is nice but not particularly notable. It wasn't loud but it was less than half full.
The waitress was very good at explaining all the dishes, but perhaps went into too much detail instead of of just letting us ask questions. We ordered one of each of the small plates to share as a group for our meal. We ordered some of the bread as well, which we thought we would use to help slop up sauces on the small plates. But apparently, the waitress was waiting for us to finish go through the bread. So there was a bit of a delay and miscommunication there.
All the appetizers were interesting but some were real winners and others less popular. We finished all of them though. I felt the octopus was a very fair portion and quite tasty. The butternut squash, crudo and lamb tartare were winners. The veal sweatbreads were less popular at the table and also a poor value.
The drinks were also quite good and the Harissa explains it all was as good a drink as it is a pun.
There was a slight foul up with our desert order and they comped us one desert and some turkish coffee. It was good but my pour was entirely coffee grounds.
Overall a good experience with interesting food and only a few misses. Still was a bit pricey so not for everyone's budget.
Loved it! The food was amazing. A great take on Israeli food (from an Israeli). Cocktails were tasty and dessert was delicious. Highly recommend.
I highly recommend this place. Everything is delicious. The price is quiet high but it is worth because the food is so delicious. We will definitely go back. I have told several of my coworkers to pay a visit.
Service is also excellent. The hummus is so delish. The octopus is how octopus dish should taste like. The duck and lamb shank are to die for.
