A cozy addition to New York City's Theater District, showcasing the unique cuisine. Azalea's menu is unique for Italian restaurants. Simple and modern, each bite encompasses vivid flavors and traditions of the Brescia and Amalfi Coast regions.
The menu offers selections combining the rich, creamy sauces and hearty meats of Brescia with the fresh seafood and the delicate fruits and vegetables of Amalfi. Once inside, an 18-foot, gently curving mahogany ceiling serves as the blossom connecting the fine woodcarving of the front and side dining rooms and bar area. Georgia O'Keeffe's flower series surrounds guests as they choose from Azalea's distinctive menu and extensive wine list.

Well, Brian was our server and very nice and attentive. What was less than stellar is he had to keep telling us what was not available even though listed on menu. No is so bucco, the seafood would not come with lobster even though it should have. My brother-in-law wanted that. Did you adjust the price? No. Then the chocolate cake which my niece and her father ordered was also missing something and not what is usually offered. I don’t know what else was not in supply on menu but I would not come back. The pistachio gelato almost had no taste which I and another guest had.

The bruschetta was outstanding. The service was excellent. All of the staff were kind and very accommodating. Our server was Camilla and she was lovely. Would return!

Great service. Great bread. Great salad. However, rigatoni was raw., uncooked almost. And the chicken was dry. Sadly, a very different experience than in years past.

Great before show dinner! Food was decent, not the best I’ve had though. Service was quick and attentive. A solid spot for out of town people headed to see a show!
