Azabu Miami Beach is Japanese concept where guests can enjoy an intimate dining experience. Originating in NYC, as Sushi Azabu in Tribeca, the Azabu brand has been awarded a Michelin Star for six consecutive years and is now excited to bring its culinary expertise to the heart of vibrant Miami Beach in the South of Fifth neighborhood. The Miami restaurant will be composed of two Japanese culinary concepts – the main dining being a robata concept and the hidden room in the back called 'The Den' a Michelin Star, serving only authentic Japanese sushi.

The menu will feature innovative dishes curated especially for Miami by using exclusively sourced ingredients. The hidden sushi room will feature authentic sushi in Omakase style, where sushi chefs will guide guests through a true experience.

Beautiful and serene restaurant with food to match. Raul, our waiter, proved to be a terrific guide helping us with navigating the food and sake side of the menu. Terrific sashimi, lobster tempura, tuna over little cubes of fried rice and eggplant that was amazing. It is a wonderful restaurant

For a restaurant awarded a Michelin star I expected so much more. We made a reservation so this was not a drop in, find a spot situation. Once seated it took over 30 minutes for someone to take even our drink order. We had to flag down the manager and he ended up taking our order. The Hamachi roll was one of the best sushi rolls I have ever eaten. The tempura cauliflower was spectacular. It was so light and airy and came with an incredible dipping sauce. I was surprised when it arrived though and there were small pieces of cauliflower on the tray underneath the bowl. A Michelin star restaurant should have caught that at the pass. The reason you get a star is a combination of incredible food, impeccable presentation and service to match. Overall the meal was nice but did not have the wow factor I was hoping for. I left a little underwhelmed.
