Friday night live band was excellent. That was the highlight for us. My husband did not enjoy the spaghetti and meatballs, and the portion wasn’t enough to fill him up. The mushroom harvest burger was better, along with the Caesar salad.

We were excited to try this new neighbourhood restaurant, especially given that Martini's (its predecessor) was such a favourite of ours. Unfortunately despite the positive google reviews, we were greatly disappointed by our experience at Aylin's Kitchen. The restaurant wasn't very busy at all but the service was extremely slow. It took 10 minutes to get the beverage I ordered, a soft drink, which I was surprised to see was a can. What was even more shocking was the $5.75 price tag for a 355 mL can of pop! What full service restaurant doesn't have soda drinks on the gun at the bar? The food was quite disappointing - guacamole appetizer was bland, the dry ribs tasted like they were reheated and/or freezer burnt. The dry ribs in the Costco freezer section tasted better. The mixed green salad that accompanied it was wilted, mushy strawberries, and a dressing that tasted foul. The calamari on the menu said it was served with tsatziki, but ours came with some sort of tartar sauce that tasted more like honey mustard. We asked for a side of tsatziki and the server told us that tsatziki was "done". Not sure if that mean the kitchen was out, didn't make it, or just didn't offer it anymore. Pizza was undercooked and mushy, bland, underwhelming, using canned sliced mushrooms. The best dish was the happy hour pesto penne, which was nothing to write home about, but what we enjoyed the best. The live music was a nice touch, but the lack of air circulation, poor/slow service, and underwhelming food, are the reasons why we won't be returning.

This restaurant used to be Martinis under previous ownership and was always a very busy place. Alinas have taken it over and the pasta and pizza are even better than under the previous management. It was quiet on the three occasions my wife and I have eaten there recently. We are hoping the patrons return in force because it is a great place for quality meal at a reasonable price.

A really interesting and comforting menu of pastas, sandwiches and entres. Food was very good - fresh, tasty and well presented. Service was good, although the restaurant was not too busy the night we were there. Worth a try.

Great little neighborhood restaurant with very good pizza and pasta. Happy to see someone pick up from where Martinis left off. Cocktails were good too. Will come back for happy hour next time

Amazing pizza. Went on a Thursday it was only 15 a good size meal for a guy who eats a lot great selection. Very nice inside. Can’t wait to try the pastas.
