Ayesha Fine Dining - Midtown
Open-table needs to make sure the restaurant is open before making reservations. We made a reservation a day prior and when we arrived the restaurant was closed.
This has happened twice now with our reservations from open table.
The Restaurant in Midtown Miami was closed despite my receiving texts reminding me of my reservation. When we called the phone we were told it was unable to receive messages. We ate Japanese food for dinner
We made reservations to dine for my nephew’s 18th birthday. I had the entire family drive 50 mins to come find the door locked. We called the restaurant and the voicemail was full. We still don’t know how we can make a reservation on opentable and the door being locked.
All the food was amazing! And service was even better!
Food was amazing !!!!!
The Host was the even better so caring so down to earth really knew about the dishes. He gave great recommendations.
Definitely coming back
Terrible service. Not rude but inexperienced. But the food was very good.
The ambiance was good
We went in to eat some comfort food, but we were very disappointed.
The rice was not cooked properly - felt ‘el Dante’.
When we asked for specific dishes from the menu, we were told sorry
The service was poor as well. While we were eating, one of the servers took one of the food items away from us.
Bottom Line: Heard a few good things about the restaurant but very very disappointed!
Despite the fact that we were the only patrons in the restaurant, and that the wine menu did not resemble reality in any way, we were blown away by the quality of the food. Please, please, please try this restaurant. You will enjoy every bite. Everything was fresh, spicy, and flavorful. I cook Indian food regularly as a hobby so I have some familiarity with the recipes and ingredients. We were so impressed with the tenderness of the chicken, the taste of the lamb samosas, and the seasoning on the rosemary naan. Please try this restaurant; you will not be disappointed.
The food was very good. Was expecting the ambience to be upscale given the prices but was more casual. Wouldn’t go for an occasion again
The restaurant is beautiful with Bollywood films playing quietly in the background with a trendy cool Midtown vibe. The serving staff were wonderful, loving and generous with their service and anything to make our dinner magical. The food was nothing short of divine! Can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!
We expected it to be good but it was better! Definitely some of the best curry we’ve had in Miami!
Food was amazing, good value for your money, customer service quick and great, highly recommend this place in Midtown Miami
Chef change. All equally good but loved how prior chef made one large samosa versus 4 smaller ones.
Will return again!
Food was fresh and excellent. Service excellent and attentive
I made reservations for 8 for a work lunch. We were the only customers in the restaurant except for 2 others who we were eating but were employees. We were promptly seated however our server was not friendly and I did not see him smile once. We had the feeling they wanted to rush us through our meal to get us to leave as quickly as possible. While I’m not sure, I believe they were shooting a commercial or taking photos of the restaurant and were waiting for us to leave. Many of the people in our group were unfamiliar with Indian food and had questions and asked for recommendations but the server didn’t take the time to explain anything or make suggestions , he said everything on the menu is good. He cut me off when I asked him a question which was very rude. Additionally one the entrees never came out and when we informed the staff there were no apologies. The restaurant was very warm, there may have been an issue with A/C. The only reason the restaurant didn’t receive 1 or 2 stars was because the food was great. Every dish was extremely flavorful. Some of the highlights were the dal, samosas and tandoor chicken. We ordered about 10 different dishes and I would order each one again. This restaurant has other locations and I will be trying the other locations due to the poor service.
Food was very good. Service excellent.
Very nice Indian Restaurant. Tandoori dishes amazing. Nice outside seating. Go check it out!
so glad there is an Indian restaurant that pleases me !!! Lots of choices and flavors are distinctive ,
I like to cook Indian food and I think I ‘m very good at it-but it is nice once in a while to have a good indian meal cooked by an expert too.
The food is absolutely amazing and the service is pretty good. Biggest issue is that it is uncomfortably warm inside the restaurant. None of the outdoor tables were open when we arrived, but I’d recommend sitting outside for comfort. That said, I would definitely recommend to others and I plan to go back myself.
Had a really nice experience here, especially the service. My date was too warm inside so we moved to an outdoor table and that was great. Food was delicious, and our server took special care of my date as this was the first time she ever had tried Indian food! As a veteran, I thought the food was some of the best Indian I've had in the South Florida area. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and bursting with flavor, the naan was warm garlic and buttery and the special shrimp dish that they worked up in the kitchen (not sure if it was on the menu or not) was sweet and memorable. Very good restaurant experience.
The food and service were fantastic until we were served something we did not order, and were told it was a mushroom dish that we did order. When we took a few bites we realized it was not mushroom, even though when the waiter set the dish down, he identified it as the mushroom dish. When we asked our waiter, he told us they gave us this by mistake, and that it was lamb. Much to my vegetarian friend's horror!! They did apologize, but not at first. At first, they were flippant about it. Maybe they didn't realize she is vegetarian. A few people did come and apologize after some time, we were served the mushroom dish, but no further actions were taken.
Thank you for taking the time to write this. We're really sorry that happened, it was a rare mixup. We're pleased to hear that despite this, you enjoyed your food and environment. We really hope to see you again soon.
