Excellent casual everyday dining experience.
Four stars. We’ll be back for sure!
For those that’ve been to Avocado Grill before and are looking forward to having their empanadas (which btw still shows on the OpenTable menu), you will be disappointed as they “got rid of it.” Why do the restaurants always discontinue the best dishes on the menu? We were disappointed and did not feel that there is an adequate replacement on the menu. It was busy, felt the service could have been a little better, but all-in-all it was a good meal.
The food is really good. We ordered guac, but the chips were brought to us smashed into bits. The waiter explained that it must've been from the bottom of the bag, but when a second batch came many of those chips were also smashed into little pieces. Also, I ordered carrots and cucumbers on the side, but the waiter forgot it. I told the food runner, who asked me if I had ordered them from the waiter. I said yes. He then found the waiter and told him about the carrots and cucumbers, at which point the waiter ran to the kitchen and admitted to us that he forgot about it. Not a big deal, but little things like that take AG from 5 stars to 4.
Chicken tacos very salty and not good, falling apart.
Excellent brunch menu. Very large portions and good service!
Great energy and great food!
Vacation dinner. Great with kids and responsible regarding food allergies. Great place for foodies too. Would recommend to everyone.
I arrived for my reservation at 6 pm but was made to wait while others who arrived after me were seated before I was seated. I was NOT happy about that, but once we were seated, our waiter was FANTASTIC (Elliot?)! The drinks were good, and I liked they had creative flavors. The vegetarian food was great! We had a few small plates to share and an entre: Curried Cauliflower, Beets & Warm Goat Cheese, Blackend Shrimp Brussels Sprouts Caesar Salad, and the Summer Vegetable Risotto. DELISH! I was headed to the theater after dinner and was a bit disappointed that I was going to leave smelling of the grill, but overall I would definitely return... probably if I had more time to drink and relax. Great location in WPB too!
Always a special treat when we come here for brunch.
First, we were seated outside during rain showers, that doesn’t affect my review here either. There was a price-fixe menu that was $85.00 per person, way too high for this restaurant with its fare. The selection was weak and the food mediocre. When we got the bill, 20% was added with a line for “additional gratuity”..........! We’ve been there before and absolutely don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone else. Thanks.
I LOVED this adorable, funky, retro bistro. Great atmosphere, nice selection of food. I had the shrimp wrap and it was delicious - huge shrimp! would definitely recommend this unique little restaurant.
The service was very good. The ambiance was very nice. The food came out quickly. The dishes were mediocre. Salmon was overcooked although I requested it to be prepared medium, and the salad that accompanied it was just fine. Nothing special or impressive. The etouffee was over powered by the lamb sausage and didn't really have any integrity in the seasoning. I'm from the New Orleans area, so I'm a bit biased when it comes to cajun food. Overall, the food was just okay. Maybe I would have had my socks knocked off by other menu selections. I'd try the restaurant again as I did enjoy the setting and the service.
The food was fantastic as was the service. The selection on the menu was large and provided something for everyone. Would definitely recommend and come back again.
If this is a yes or no on recommendations, I vote no mostly because of service. It’s tough because our server made the experience most unfavorable. He was indifferent and inattentive. He even walked off as we were speaking with him. We literally debated leaving after eventually placing our food order. The burger was delicious, but the shrimp bowl was not. The restaurant is unfortunately next door to a very loud bar, however sitting along the outside of the building drowned a lot of that out. Perhaps dining during the lunch hour would help with the bar crowd that overflows if you want a good burger.
Good overall but not outstanding. Interesting menu. Nice dining al fresco (inside seemed quite noisy). Good selection of wines by the glass. Service is OK. A tad on the expensive side for what it is. Parking is not easy to find.
Great food, friendly service, beautiful ambiance. Thanks for a great evening, Avocado Grill!
food was the issue here ,lack of seasoning we all had to salt and pepper everything heavy and if your going to be avocado grill your guac. better be great !! i had to ask for limes to finish the dish not cool, at this price point someone is not stepping up in the kitchen, and i am bringing servers from the PBG here you gotta be on in this town !!
Our server was great by the way !
this was our reflection after
We had a great evening! The food was delicious and unique, our servers were friendly and attentive, and all in all it was an wonderful experience in an update and vibrant setting.
Very enjoyable- will definitely go again
We were visiting from out of town. We loved the decor with the basket lights, shutters on the wall and the greenery by the bar. The food was amazing. We will definitely visit again when in town.
Great food and wonderful service. Sitting outside is an added bonus. Loved the grilled avocado wedges and everything else we ordered.
I wished the side patio dining area had nice plants and flowers along it. It seems to be a little run down now.
Avocado Grill is a great place for casual meal. Food is always delish and imaginative. Service friendly and attentive.
Suggest dining outdoors as interior space is noisy.
The plates were all creative but I was glad I asked to see the dessert menu halfway through the meal. I’m not normally a sweets eater, but the “Nutella avocado mousse” caught my attention. So I held back on any more food and ordered it for dessert. It was outstanding!!
Great food. The Ginger Guac is outstanding as are the empanadas. Korean beef lettuce wraps were a hit as well. Pricy drinks was the only downside. Overall a great place.
Lovely dinner. Great menu selection. Wine bottle choices are a bit pricey. Great setting.
The food and drinks are amazing. Service is always fast, staff is friendly and welcoming. No complaints here
Our our service and food were very good. We shared several appetizers and little plates. Our server even ordered us four zucchini blossoms and four lettuce wraps with steak since we were four people. Our drinks were also good. We weren't rushed and we didn't order everything at once so that we could see how we were doing since this restaurants has wonderful tapas and little plates. Our only complaint was there was no parking and there were a lot of loud music and young people outside of the restaurant. The hostess was very nice and she gave as a quieter table at the back of the outside area. We like this restaurant but will continue to go to the one at PGA.
Our first time here as we were visiting from Chicago. A Veganfest was being held across the street so we were wary of getting a table. Open table gave us options omfor reservation times and we got in right on time.
Service was attentive, and food was delicious; fresh and presented beautifully.
JC was prompt in fixing a small mistake and ensuring the rest of our meal went smoothly. Thanks
Great food, wonderful ambiance . A most enjoyable evening dining al fresco
Guess there is a first time for everything
The food is always good here but Friday night was the service from hell night. Anything my wife ordered, from drinks to food was screwed up!
Food and service great as always ! Always a unique menu , very diverse !
Good food, good service. Enjoyable and pleasant experience, found through local search.
The food was not good. What more do you need to know?
Always an amazing experience each visit!
Simply superb, great vibe, decor, service was spot on and the Zucchini blossom are to die for. A must go for whoever is in town
We sat outside very quiet. Two had the grilled octopus outstanding. The other person had the grilled chicken also outstanding. If you are in West Palm Beach you should definitely try.
Food was delicious as always. Service excellent - warm and friendly. Drinks were perfection. Wish I hadn’t chosen to go right when the Sunday Funday brunch crowd was still hanging around - a bit boisterous. Fortunately it cleared out fairly quickly after we arrived and staff tried to gently keep us from being bothered
